Description
A beautifully appointed cottage with a welcoming and spacious interior, set in a quiet courtyard in the heart of Skipton.
The cottage has benefited from a high quality renovation creating warm and comfortable accommodation that makes it a perfect place for families and friends to enjoy a relaxed getaway.
Step inside, and an open plan kitchen and dining area awaits, cleverly designed to incorporate every amenity you would expect in a modern kitchen.
Tucked into the corner, a set a stairs is nicely carpeted leading to a landing from which king-size, double, and single bedrooms can be accessed, each having a unique colour scheme and views over the courtyard or towards the canal.
On this floor, an elegant bathroom completes the upstairs arrangement, with black and white tiling that exude a sense of style.
To the outside of the property, you will find a delightful south-facing area to the front that captures the best of Yorkshire’s sunshine and is furnished with outdoor seating and table for alfresco dining.
The property is located just off Skipton high street.
This characterful town has much to offer, with an ancient castle open to the public, a beautiful old parish church and a colourful market.

What guests are saying
This was our second stay at Cherry Tree Cottage its in a fantastic position just a two minute walk to the high street or the canal.
The lovely cake biscuits milk and tea were a welcome treat after our long journey. There's everything you will need for your stay including the parking space, my son parked in the long stay car park two minutes walk and at a good price for the week. The area is very quiet and neighbours where very welcoming. With trips to Settle Knaresborough Fountain Abbey and Skipton Castle This is an ideal base to explore North Yorkshire.
The property is in a quiet location but central for everything.
Train and Bus services, 3 supermarkets as well as the local shops and cafes, public houses and a street market 3/4 times a week, nice walks and trips along the canal Friendly neighbours
Overall, we enjoyed our stay in this very well equipped cottage in a great location.
It’s just off the high street, yet really quiet. There were some really nice touches such as the cake, milk and enough dishwasher tablets for the week. However, the sofas need replacing - very uncomfortable. The bath and bathroom sink also need unblocking. We wouldn’t recommend this property to anyone with young children (like us) due to the very steep stairs and blind cords not being tethered. Anyone with mobility issues would also struggle with the stairs.
