  Lovely lodge everything you need.and well well equipped and added bonus of aircon in the warm weather. Great having washing machine too. Nice outdoor furniture to sit relaxing on decking. Rich was a pleasure to deal with and great communication. Lovely site everything at hand nice staff. Good bar onsite watched England game and great entertainment lounge. Fish and chip shop, papa johns pizza, onsite shop. You won’t be disappointed! Very nice stay!

  The Lodge was clean, and had everything that we needed, and more. Richard was very in formative, and helped with all enquiries we had, without delay. The lodge was situated away from the entertainment in a quiet woody area. The walk was about 8 minutes to all the facilities, pool, club house, parks etc. The children had a great time exploring, and wore us out! We would book again, as Rich made it extremely easy for us.   Immaculate throughout with great facilities included that made for a great couple of days away. Excellent communication with the owner, Rich who went out of his way to make sure everything was going smoothly from even before booking confirmation. Highly recommended and would happily go again. • "We stayed in Richards caravan and we couldn’t have asked for a better stay , on arrival it was clean tidy and looked amazing from the outside , there is a beautiful garden to the outside , it is well kept and clean and very safe for my little boy who is 2 ."

  I have stayed at a few holiday places but by far this is our favourite and we for sure will be returning . It’s a short walk to the clubhouse and dining restaurant / swimming pool but also set in a beautiful forest area , we enjoyed forest walks and just relaxing in the garden . Inside the property we had everything we needed , all facilities!!!!! We stayed Monday - Friday but we didn’t want to leave ! Me and my family will be returning next year Thank you to Richard for a wonderful holiday

• "The caravan was cosy with plenty of bedding and facilities."

  We were visiting family in the area and the park was a welcome retreat set in the woodlands, which felt idyllic and peaceful. There were older children, (well 20 and 30) and my grandson who is 3. My grandson enjoyed playing with the toys out on the veranda and looking at the trees and birds, he said it was 'The best day in his world!' Bless him. I only wish we'd stayed longer to fully experience the park but it was a flying visit, due to work commitments. Richard was most accommodating and responded quickly to any questions or requests. The TV, cooker, fridge, heating and shower, all worked well and we had everything we needed for young and old. Theres a stack of films and games to entertain and plenty of crockery and kids stuff to use. There is a family vibe, one of happy childhood holidays, as Richard himself used to enjoy the park when he was growing up. Richard is a down to earth kind of guy and so it was a pleasure booking with him. We were all very happy with our stay. We look forward to staying again when we visit our family.

• "Fabulous accomodation in a beautiful spot."

  Instant calm when sitting on the veranda, loved the view and sunlight through the trees. Caravan had everything you can think of, and some more. Richard was fantastic at arranging something last minute that I hadn't arranged. I can't fault our stay at all, other than it wasn't long enough. Some great stuff for the kids to do, nice pools and good prices in the shop and bars. Will certainly be booking again.

  The caravan was very nice, well looked after and had everything we needed to be a home from home for a few days. The owner Rich was great at communicating, checked in on us and helped us with any queries we had. The caravans location was also excellent, was in a lovely wooded bit of the Haven site and was really quiet and full of nature.

  The free Wifi was an added bonus. Everything you might need for the kitchen, bathroom ect is also provided. The lodge is in a lovely area of the park with lots of wildlife. We thoroughly enjoyed our holiday. Richard was super efficient at answering any questions and made us feel very welcome. Thank you for having us!

• "I can’t recommend Richards lodge enough, from before even arriving we were given lots of info prior to our stay."

  The lodge itself was fully equipped, plenty of games, dvds etc for the children with an added slush maker which they loved, plenty of tea, sugar, coffee and cleaning products, the location is perfect if your looking for a peaceful quiet area, we were lucky enough to also see lots of wildlife around the van. We had a very relaxing, peaceful few days and would definitely book again. We were not overly worried about the on-site facilities but we did book day passes for £30 (2 adults 2 children) which we could use all day Saturday and Sunday - we mainly purchased these so the children could enjoy the indoor and outdoor pool. Thank you for a wonderful few days - the added hot weather was a nice bonus too! ????

• "4 Adults 1 Teenager 1 Child Nice long week spent away with the family , weather was not the greatest but the games , Internet and tv all supplied in this caravan kept us entertained and busy the whole time."

  The owner was very helpful and always quick to answer any questions I had regarding my stay , including recommendations on food. All in all I would give this a 10/10 fantastic review , definitely recommend for other large family's . ????????

  Great setting in the peaceful area immediately next to the woodland and its wildlife. Loads of games for the family made available by Richard, including both board games, xbox and archery equipment, along with disney tv which the kids enjoyed in our rare relaxing times! Richard was very helpful and responsive throughout making check in easy, and he positively responded to our various questions and requests both before we arrived and during our stay ~ much appreciated! There are plenty of activities on site and the indoor and outdoor pools were used a number of times by the family (note that the water in the outdoor pool was beautifully warm!) We didn't use the evening entertainment because we were either out and about or in the games arcade (which the boys insisted we visit most evenings!) Great daytime visits to Bewilderwood (brilliant for kids up to 11 in our view) and Pensthorpe which has great indoor and outdoor playgrounds together with a really interesting birds section (mainly British), and many walks and viewing hides

  We visit Wild Duck Haven often and this is our favourite area on site! The lodge was extremely comfortable and well equipped with everything you could possibly need e.g - cleaning products, hand soap, vacuum cleaner, Xbox, Wi-Fi, iron and ironing board, washing machine! I could go on.. The Wi-Fi worked really well on our devices. The outside area with decking, egg chair, picnic table and recliner was so relaxing and we loved sitting out enjoying the peace and quiet of our surroundings and watching the wildlife. Rich provided excellent customer service, he always answered any questions or queries immediately and nothing is too much trouble. Over all we had a wonderful stay and can’t wait to return.

  Comfortable & homely. Looks lovely outside in the evening when it's all lit up by the LED lights. Kids loved the X Box. Love the fact that there is a washing machine to use if needed.   The location is perfect and your are nice and secluded yet within a short walking distance of the park facilities. The accommodation itself was lovely and Rich has done a fantastic job with the landscaping which makes people stop and stare. Plenty of amenities for all age ranges within the accommodation. The park itself has plenty of facilities and was nice and clean and the staff were very friendly. Rich is a great bloke, his service and friendliness from day one has been exceptional and I was fortunate enough to meet him upon leaving the accommodation. Ps - the shower is unreal!

  It was very well equipped, was very clean and the owner Richard and his wife should be very proud to have such a gem on this peaceful plot at wild duck. We loved sitting on the veranda late at night and doing stargazing while drinking hot chocolate. On a very clear night you can see satellites from space flying overhead. Our kids are very thankful for all the games that were there too. And I must say the shower is amazing definitely changing my shower head at home. Lol. Will definitely visit again but for a longer stay next time. The park itself vas very quiet but the restaurant was open and serving basic pub food outdoors but was very nice, and there is a swimming pool and a couple of play parks to keep the kids busy. Don’t hesitate to book this caravan if you want a peaceful holiday.

  ....Set away from the main area the location of the lodge is just beautiful surrounded by trees and very very peaceful and quiet....Inside you will find absolutely everything you could possibly need , Richard really has thought of everything to make this place a home from home.....The bed's are super comfy and guarantee a great night's sleep , the sofa in the living area is also super comfy and the outside furniture is fantastic for those lazy evenings especially that egg chair ! Was it worth the almost 6 hour journey , you bet it was , we didn't want to leave at the end of the week , this lodge really is fantastic and we fell in love with the whole experience and cannot wait to return !
