  • "Lovely wee stay."

Cottage looks so much better inside than from the outside. Made us feel even more at home when we realised that the print on the wall was the same one we have in our living room. It's not the biggest property for four people, but it was ideal for what we needed.

  • "Comfortable and well laid out property."

Could benefit from a table or floor lamp in the living area as the lighting is a bit too bright for relaxing. The double bedroom lacks storage however there isn't much scope to improve this. The twin room has plenty. The enclosed rear yard was safe for the dog and secure for keeping a bike, etc.

Really appreciate your feedback. We will get a floor lamp for the living room, that’s a great idea. We thought about some more storage in the double bedroom but thought guests would appreciate the space more. We hope you enjoyed your stay and managed to enjoy this wonderful corner of North East Scotland. Haste ye back Property Owner

  • "This was such a surprise this little cottage, it was spotless clean and comfortable."

The space has been thought out well to get the most from the space but providing everything you need to enjoy your stay. For those days that are warmer then there is a lovely private and secure garden to use. We used Fraserburgh as a Base to visit different locations along the coast, it was ideal. Fraserburgh also was worth a visit the Lighthouse museum, lovely beach amongst other things. Th cottage was ideally situated to walk to these, it was also adjacent a lovely ice cream shop and plenty of places around for food for those times you don't want to cook, I would definitely book again.

Thank you so much for your positive feedback. We are delighted you enjoyed your time here. It really is an ideal base, with so much things to see and do in the area. ‘Haste ye back’ Property Owner

About the location

FRASERBURGH

Peterhead 17 miles; Portsoy 33 miles; Aberdeen 40 miles.

Fraserburgh is situated just along the north east coast from Aberdeen and borders the mouth of the Moray Firth. Whilst it is still a busy fishing port the number of boats has decreased dramatically over the years, although todays boats are far bigger than they were in bygone days. The town itself is a real community with a strong Football team and impressive 18 hole golf course, the 7th oldest club in the world believe it not, established in 1777. With its modern clubhouse vistors are most welcome and can enjoy the bar, dining room and lounge areas that overlook the course and sand dunes. The mueseum of Scottish Lighthouses is based in Fraserburgh and is well worth a visit and gives a real insight to the history of the Lighthouses in the north of Scotland. Fraserburgh is a beautiful seaside town with a rich history and an award winning beach. Inverallochy 18 hole golf course is within walking distance of Fraserburgh. Nearby is the RSPB Loch of Strathbeg which is one of the best places for wildlife in the UK as well as Aden Country Park within easy reach with 230 acres of parkland to enjoy.
