The property

No.9 North St. is a well-appointed mid-terrace house in Fraserburgh, ideal for families or groups seeking a relaxed coastal escape.

With partial ground-floor living, a rear lawned garden and glimpses of the harbour from the roadside, it offers a comfortable base for exploring Aberdeenshire.

As you arrive, the sound of gulls and the scent of sea air set the tone.

Step through the front door into a welcoming hallway, where soft lighting leads you into the sitting room.

Here, a sofa invites you to unwind along side two extra seats for company, and coastal artwork on the walls reflects the nearby shoreline.

The kitchen/diner is framed by navy fixtures and offers a sociable space for shared meals and morning coffees.

After a day on the beach, wash the sea salt away in the walk-in shower room, where natural light filters through a Velux window and sloping ceilings add character.

A cloakroom provides added convenience.

When it’s time to rest, climb into bed and let the hush of the evening settle in.

Two doubles on the ground floor offer accessible comfort, while a further double and twin upstairs are tucked beneath the eaves, each space calm and considered.

Outside, the rear lawned garden offers a peaceful spot to sit with a book or enjoy the evening light.

A short stroll brings you to the local shop and pub, while Fraserburgh Beach is close enough for spontaneous walks along the sand.

The Museum of Scottish Lighthouses is a must-see, with its guided tours of Kinnaird Head Lighthouse, interactive exhibits, and sweeping coastal views.

A scenic drive inland reveals Aden Country Park, where woodland trails wind past a ruined mansion and a welcoming café serves homemade treats.

Satisfy your taste buds at the Dunes Cafe and golf driving range, perfect for a well-deserved lunch or a warming coffee break.

Further west, Duff House in Banff offers Georgian architecture, curated art collections, and riverside walks that change with the seasons.

Whether you're seeking coastal calm or a base for adventure, No.9 North St. offers a welcoming retreat where comfort, character and location come together.

FRASERBURGH

  • Peterhead 17 miles
  • Portsoy 33 miles
  • Aberdeen 40 miles

Fraserburgh is situated just along the north east coast from Aberdeen and borders the mouth of the Moray Firth. Whilst it is still a busy fishing port the number of boats has decreased dramatically over the years, although todays boats are far bigger than they were in bygone days. The town itself is a real community with a strong Football team and impressive 18 hole golf course, the 7th oldest club in the world believe it not, established in 1777. With its modern clubhouse vistors are most welcome and can enjoy the bar, dining room and lounge areas that overlook the course and sand dunes. The mueseum of Scottish Liighthouses is based in Fraserburgh and is well worth a visit and gives a real insight to the history of the Lighthouses in the north of Scotland. Fraserburgh is a beautiful seaside town with a rich history and an award winning beach. Inverallochy 18 hole golf course is within walking distance of Fraserburgh. Nearby is the RSPB Loch of Strathbeg which is one of the best places for wildlife in the UK as well as Aden Country Park within easy reach with 230 acres of parkland to enjoy.
