A beautiful bungalow.

Very modern and spacious with all around garden and patio. Very helpful separate utility room with both washer and dryer. There is a new development behind the bungalow but we never had any issues with noise or anything during our stay.

This is a superb bungalow; we really can't fault anything about it.

A lovely spotlessly clean bungalow with everything you need for a relaxing break this was our 2nd time at this property , we were even lucky with the weather, for early April, the lovely co-op in the bay has all things you need in the short time , the dunes cafe is lovely for snacks or something a bit more filling ,while you watch the ever changing tides , st olafs Hotel also serves a lovely breakfast to non residents and they serve lovely evening meals we will be back

This is an excellent property which is luxuriously and generously appointed and spotlessly clean throughout.

Welcome pack, cleaning materials and supplies. We wanted for nothing, it was all there. In 24 years of self catering holiday rentals this property is one of the best that we have experienced. We’ve already discussed another stay.

This is an extremely well-appointed, recently built house, very nicely furnished, fresh and exceptionally clean.

The owners most helpfully provided a comprehensive folder with house instructions and local information, as well as generous basic provisions for guests’ arrival. We would thoroughly recommend and would hope to return.

We both had a fantastic holiday at No 1 westenra bungalow it was everything it advertised in your right up ,clean comfortable, everything you would want for a lovely holiday

Beautiful bungalow everything you need and a lovely welcome basket the garden furniture could be a bit more comfy couldn't sit out for long on the folding deck chairs a garden bench would be ideal , really enjoyed our stay and hope to return

This property was outstanding !

! The best I have ever been to. The area was very quiet and peaceful. The listing said there is building nearby but the property is in a completed area and is not affected. Everything is new and spotless. There is anything you need and more Including a very comprehensive folder of instructions, books and games. Laundry tabs and dishwasher tabs are provided as well as a food starter pack. The back lounge and kitchen is open plan and leads on to a patio. There is a bird table and even feed for the birds. Furniture is in the garage. There are more surprises to find in the cupboards so give it a go you won’t be disappointed. Fab !!

A great bungalow for exploring Cruden Bay and surrounding area. The welcome basket was much appreciated too. Good location for exploring Cruden Bay and surrounding area ....nice little patio area with seats provided.

What a beautiful bungalow, everything that you need, we took our elderly parents with us and they had a fabulous time, they couldn’t get over how stunning the bungalow was.

We had great weather too. We would come back in a heartbeat.

I have stayed in a number of Sykes Holiday cottages, this is by far one of the best, I would rate it 5 STAR.

A beautiful, modern house.

Loads of room and every comfort you could need. Extremely clean and well kept. Lovely area, Cruden Bay is really lovely. The beach and cliff walks are stunning. Plenty of places to visit and things to do. The house is on a development site but there was minimum disruption for us as they weren't too close to the property yet.

We had a lovely stay, the bungalow is fantastic and some good weather too !

I did leave a note on our departure as it was disappointing that the excavators started at 7.30 each morning and we could hear them all day. I do feel it should be publicised as part of the holiday for me is a lie in. Also on the Saturday morning before I drove 425 miles home, the extractor in the en-suite came on for no reason at 5.30am. It had malfunctioned earlier in the week but I hadn’t really given it any thought. It wasn’t great to have my sleep disturbed and I did think i might have received an apology following the note I left.

It was spotlessly clean, very well-equipped and located in a pleasant, quiet residential area in Cruden Bay. Great as a base for exploring further afield. All in all a real pleasure to stay here for a week and will highly recommend.

We had a lovely time at Westerna Gardens, a great area for touring around the coastal locations, the weather was a bit cold for us in the later end of our week, but we enjoyed our time away.

Ideal place for a holiday only critism felt we could have had some more pans and serving dishes, but I would recommend the bungalow as first class.

Excellent property, spotlessly clean, everything you would need and comprehensive welcome folder with manuals for white goods and other handy hints for the local area.

Location for us was perfect, we could either go walking or take a short drive to the main road to take us north or south.

Excellent house.

A quiet location on the edge of the village. Could not fault anything, so spacious very comfy and absolutely spotless. Would definitely recommend. The off road parking is big enough for 2 large cars. Ideally placed for the golf club. We will be back.
