Lovely holiday home.

Very clean & comfortable. Ideal location for beach. Has everything you need for a nice holiday. Very well equipped kitchen. The cooker is amazing! Lovely long garden with patio area. We had lunch outside. We had an issue on arrival in the bathroom but the owners, although being in Australia, messaged to say they had arranged for someone to come & fix it. This was all done very quickly - thank you again. We would definitely book this lovely holiday home again.

Lovely cottage with everything you could want for a comfortable home from home stay

This is a lovely little cottage within a short walk to the beach.

We had an absolutely fantastic time, the house is in a great location only a 5 minute walk to the beach and harbour.

The beds were super comfy and the bedding was great quality. New coop just being finished off about 2 minute walk away it’ll be a great addition to the village. There is everything you could need in the house but would benefit from a pizza cutter and pizza tray but it does not impact the holiday or house at all that just the only thing I didn’t have but could have done with. We will be booking to come back next year we had a fabulous time.

hen we arrived the house was very cold, in fact it felt warmer outside at 6 than inside due to a boiler fault.

Despite attempting to contact the owners maintenance company with text and voice messages and many phone calls, there was no response. Following this the holiday was lovely and the house was quite comfortable. It is only a few minutes walk from Cruden bay beach. If you are on the shorter side (I'm 5'2"), it may be helpful to take something to help you reach the pots which are stored on a rack above the cooker. All this said, I would book to stay here again.

The accommodation was as described on the website, very comfortable with all the facilities as required.

Coffee machine was a nice touch, though visitors could be reminded to bring capsules. The house location is perfect, across the road from the local shop and easy walking distance to the beach, beach restaurant and the local hotel. Both of these had good food at good value. The city of Aberdeen is less than 30 minutes away. We would definitely stay there again. Eamon.

Everything described about this cottage was correct and more we stayed for 7 days and would loved to have stayed longer, our 2 dogs loved the walks out in the woods and the beach and treats in the killie

We stayed here visiting some family locally and it was a lovely place to stay.

It actually feels more like somebody home than just a house which is lovely especially when we stayed for 10 days. The beds were comfy, the kitchen was very well equipped, there is a little shop across the road and all the locals are very pleasant. Thank you for letting us stay in your home.

Pros - Nice enclosed garden and furniture.

Off road parking. Good, easy to use shower. Shed for bicycles. Leaflets on how to use everything. Nice cushions. Well equipped kitchen. In a lovely village near sea, harbour and cafe. Cons - Unpleasant smell on entering house - possible from previous pets in the house. Kitchen/dining room floor needs attention - varnish worn off in places. Under cupboard lights not working so dark when using worktops. Bath panel coming off at one end. Dark grouting around bath needs replacing. Bath/shower awkward to use due to sloping ceiling over it. Lots of weeds coming up between flags in garden. Outside light needed to illuminate the path and steps from the car parking area. The whole house is mostly brown/beige which gives a bit of a depressing feel. Could do with some more bright colours to brighten it up. Seems overpriced compared with similar properties in better condition.

Great accommodation and location.

We had a perfect holiday and didn't want to leave. Even the weather was perfect for the whole of our stay. It only started raining when we were south of Edinburgh on the way home.

Brilliant central location with off street parking.

Beach 5 mins walk.quiet,3 tvs ,good sized kitchen with table. Wifi excellent. Secure garden for dog. Gas bbq in shed.shop across the road

Loved the location ,home was ok a little bit dated but enjoyed the stay as did our two dogs .

Great for walking the dog.

Walk to slaines castle and beach within 100 yards. Large living room and kitchen diner, enclosed garden could do with a little tidying up but overall clean and tidy Could do with a couple of pint glasses and hoover ran out of charge when we were doing our leaving clean round

We thought the cottage was perfect for what it is and had the right level of equipment and outfit and furnishings for a small seaside cottage.

The location is also very good with parking, little shop opposite , hotel near bye for pub dinner and a wonderful coffee shop overlooking the miles of sand in the bay. Ans also convenient for Slains Castle, and puffins at Bullers of Buchan.

Lovely furniture upstairs comfortable beds but downstairs needs attention ie paintwork and seating needing updated well equipped kitchen loved the area and the beautiful beach

The cottage was comfortable everything was catered for .

Was our first visit to Cruden Bay a real hidden gem lovely beach and spectacular walks with our young border collie fantastic restaurant on the harbour completely dog friendly lovely food reasonably priced

Beautiful little cottage, such a well equipped kitchen had everything you could possibly need.

Very comfortable and warm and the beds were amazing, slept so well. Situated in perfect spot near beach and harbour, lots of parking available and totally enclosed garden for my dogs. We would not hesitate to stay at 15 Main Street again and definitely plan return to this fabulous wee house.

The first night was a disaster, on arrival in November the heating was left turned OFF so the house was freezing (it was warmer outside) and nothing was provided to utilise the log burner.

Took 5 hours sat in our coats before the house was habitable and have subsequently discovered that the contact number for the caretaker is disconnected. However, after that we had an enjoyable stay. The property was very clean and comfortable with everything you need. Is perfectly positioned for the beach and all village amenities and ideal for those with dogs. Would definitely recommend if the arrival issues are sorted as not very welcoming

We had a lovely week at 15, Main Street.

It is very comfortable and well appointed, with a well-equipped kitchen & lovely bedding and towels. The artwork is also a delight! The wee shop opposite is great for bread, milk, newspapers etc & for finding out about local matters. The beach at Cruden Bay is a joy to walk on- or to build sandcastles , kick a football or enjoy paddling. Just along at Port Erroll is Harbour Dunes cafe, perfect for a coffee or a snack after a bracing walk. Peterhead, Fraserburgh, Boddam, Newburgh and Ellon all lie nearby and are worth a visit. We would definitely like to return sometime to 15, Main Street!

A cosy cottage type feel to the house.

Everything your need in the house to have a relaxing vacation. Great location for walks and local golf courses. Good friendly pub at the end of the street that does superb food.

The property was clean and tidy, we had a lovely few days.

The killie, shop & beach all in a short walk. Looking to come again next year but for a week.

The cottage was lovely and nicely situated for walking the dogs. They loved running along the beach. The cottage itself had everything you need for a relaxing holiday.

Thanks for a fantastic stay, we cleaned the flat top to bottom and hope everything was left as you'd expect.

We had a lovely holiday .

Our friends came and stayed for 4 nights and plenty room for 4 adults . Very comfortable and relaxing . Super double oven . Loved the walks and harbour . Breakfast on outdoor setting lovely way to start the day with sun streaming down . Calum

This is a very comfortable, well appointed cottage.

The beaches at Cruden Bay and Newburgh are beautiful. Whilst there we had a problem with no hot water or heating. I made a quick call to the management company and the problem was solved within a couple of hours! The service given was second to none. Can definitely recommend this cottage and will book again.
