The house is a fabulous size and the layout works well. Lovely en-suite to the main bedroom with a large walk in shower. The garden is large and I expect very pretty in summer. Sadly we experienced strong winds and lots of rain during our stay so only the dogs ventured into it briefly before running back to the warmth of the house. Tall fridge/freezer in the kitchen which is great if you feed your dogs raw food as plenty of room to keep it frozen and I believe the Benllech pet shop sells some raw food as well. Ideally situated for the wonderful Benllech beach with a nice pub just up the road (sadly restrictions in Wales meant pubs had to close at 6pm while we were there). We really enjoy everything Monarfon has to offer as a holiday

The property

A lovely detached holiday cottage in the popular seaside town of Benllech on the north coast of Anglesey.

Just four minutes’ walk from the golden sandy beaches and amenities of Benllech, this homely, detached cottage, set in a quiet cul-de-sac, offers great value, comfortable accommodation, providing a welcoming base for couples, friends or families seeking a fantastic seaside location.

The sitting room runs the depth of the cottage and is comfortable and spacious with leather sofas and patio doors opening onto a small decked veranda, which overlooks the sunny enclosed rear garden.

The veranda enjoys views of the sea, which can also be seen from the family bathroom and the bedroom at the back of the property.

A central hallway leads off to the bright and airy dining room, with an archway through to a spacious fitted kitchen, providing a relaxing area for you to plan which exciting attraction to visit the next day.

The first floor bedrooms are comfortable and well presented, and the main bedroom offers a king-size bed and a modern en-suite shower room, with a further stylish family bathroom serving the two other comfy bedrooms.

The front garden is well maintained and offers ample off road parking, whilst the large rear lawned garden is lined with pretty beds and borders.

An elevated patio area provides a sunny and shaded spot throughout the day, with ample garden furniture allowing you to soak up the morning sun or dine alfresco in the evening after an exciting day on the beach.

The Anglesey Coastal Path runs through the village, opening up 125 miles of coastline with its wondrous clifftop paths, sheltered bays and hidden coves.

Red Wharf Bay is a short drive away and offers a choice of delightful restaurants which overlook the historic harbour, while a short drive will take you to one of the many historic castles in the area, such as Beaumaris or Caernarfon, and the delights of Snowdonia can be reached within 30 minutes by car.

With so much to offer in the area, this superbly-located Benllech cottage will have you returning time and again.
