  • "Lovely little cottage, It was spotlessly clean."

Great location plenty to explore close by. The owner visited near the end of the week. (Lovely lady) They advertise that it has a log burner. In fact it has a coal fire and an electric log effect fire sitting in front of it. There’s a coal bunker outside the garden gate we bought some logs for it as well.(nice and cosy). I couldn’t find a fire guard although they there was a child safety one in the cupboard. If we ever get back to Anglesey we would definitely stay there again.

Excellent views of the Conwy mountains. We have a dog, and there is plenty of grass well secured to let the dog run around safely. Met the owner of the property, who was extremely nice and welcoming. Very quiet area too. It was like home from home. My wife and I would definitely go there again, and would highly recommend this holiday cottage for a restful and peaceful holiday.

The cottage was cosy and had everything you needed for a very comfortable stay. Very clean and well looked after. The view from the front garden was beautiful and the dog had plenty of exercise space, which she loved. The rear patio garden had the sun in the evening which was also pleasant. The welcome pack for us and the dog was very much appreciated. We will definitely for another holiday in this cottage.

We enjoyed Angelsey & North Wales so did the dogs. Cae Person is perfect for dog owners having a large, secure garden. It is comfortable and has a well equipped kitchen & utility room. We were lucky with the weather and really enjoyed sitting in the garden and taking in the view of the mountains and the bird life.

We appreciated the visit from Ruth shortly after arrival when she was able to explain the controls of the heating system - it was too hot & we were unfamiliar with night storage control systems. The only suggestion we would like to make is a more uniform supply of glasses needed.

Beautiful new bathroom with separate shower not on website and should be. Fantastic enclosed gardens back and front which was very large and ideal for dogs and/or children. Kitchen was basic and clean but we did not always have hot water though but not a problem for us. Amazing views of Menai straight from our bedroom window. Ruth (the owner) who was very pleasant and friendly, met us in the front garden one wet and windy day as we were on our way walking to get provisions from the local shop (small Morrisons), to see if we were okay. As weather was very mixed it was a good cottage to snuggle in. There was even a towel provided to wipe our little dog's wet paws as well as dog biscuits.

Greeted by the owner who had happily provided us with wood and coal for the fire and ensured we knew how to heat the rest of the property which was warm and welcoming on our returns from the wet windy tour of the island. A lovely surprise when we arrived to find tea coffee and fresh milk. Views were incredible despite being a little out of the way it was peaceful and relaxing which is most enjoyable which we wanted. We have a large vehicle (truck) and parking was more than adequate.

The furniture, particularly the sofas were very tired and the kitchen had a musty smell, the utility room even more so. The beds however were comfy and all the linen etc were lovely. The view from the cottage was amazing and our dog loved the garden. Did we enjoy our stay? Yes. Would we stay there again? Probably not, particularly for the price we paid which was over £200 more than our friends who stayed in a large town house in Beaumaris for 2 days longer than our booking.

The host popped by on our first night to say hello and introduce herself. The space in the garden was great for our Jack Russell who ran and ran for her ball. There were a few days when we just stayed and enjoyed the peace and quiet to recharge our batteries. It is close enough to loads of things to do if you need to get out and about but you don’t have to go very far. Inside the property is very well equipped with not much overlooked. Beware of the shower as it will leak if left on full but we were warned about that and if you run a bath then you may run out of hot water but if you know then you look out for these things. Overall we were very pleased with everything. Our neighbours at the time had been coming to the properties for 15 years so they must be good

  • "An absolutely brilliant week."

The cottage was spotless and had everything that you could possibly need. It was obvious that the owners take pride in their property. The size of the gardens are huge and are dog friendly and lend to the possibility of some larger furniture as the existing table and chairs, though adequate, are a little dated. The cottage is homely, the kitchen and utility room are well stocked, the bedrooms are comfy, you could go on. The owner was welcoming and seemed genuine in his welcome. The owners do also own the attached cottage but you have complete privacy as their gardens are also secure and private. The local shop is around 10 minutes walk and well stocked though you do have the options of Beaumaris nearby. All in all a wonderful week and we wouldn't have any hesitancy in returning .
