Well equipped apartment with good parking. Cleanliness let it down, floors and carpet not hoovered, dirty dishes in cupboard.

The kitchen had everything we needed, with a ginormous fridge and plenty of crockery etc. Having access to a Smart TV is almost a pre-req nowadays, and this one was watchable from the sofa, dining table and kitchen.. perfect! Will deff be back .. highly recommend. Thank you

Lovely and bright. Lots of extras too such as iron & ironing board & hairdryer. King size bed was very soft which didn't suit us. Lovely and quiet too and a short walk to the beach which our children loved. Would definitely recommend.

Isallt did not fail at all to live up to expectation. From the moment we entered the property,we were pleased. Its light and airy feel with contemporary decor could brighten anybodies mood(even if it's raining). The flat contained lots of amenities, utensils and all you'll need for your stay. A well done to the Turner family.

  • "The apartment was just as it said on the web site, modern, contemporary and a really nice apartment to stay in."

I would like to inform the owner that we noticed a slight leak on the towel radiator on the bottom LHS. Also we noticed that there was no switch to put the radiator on in the bathroom to dry towels. I felt that the cleaning upon arrival was not good enough, especially the floors didn’t look like they had been swept, this was a little disappointing having to sweep and wipe down when we arrived. Not that this was a problem but a larger TV would have been better. The fact that there was a lockable garage was a really good thing and a rail to hang Wet suits on was great. The King size mattress wasn’t the most comfortable, very soft. The single beds were comfortable, according to my son.

  • "4Isallt Lodges is a lovely apartment - very spacious, clean and very-well equipped."

Everything you need for a self-catering holiday is here. It is a first floor apartment - the views being on one side of the car park and the other aside of a communal lawn / where you can watch rabbits playing. As other reviews state the tv is slightly small for the room but if you move the 2 seater couch nearer to the tv then it’s fine, There is a communal outside space which you could put your deckchairs etc on if you wish but I don’t think bbqs would be allowed. It is right on the coastal path which is handy and the views are breathtaking. The main beach in Treaddur Bay is about a 12-15 minute walk but there is a big car park next to it. We also went to Porth Dafarch beach which is about 5 minutes in the car going the other way towards South Stack lighthouse. We went mid May do it was easy to park up (for free) but I can imagine during peak periods this may be difficult if you don’t go early. Make sure you find out the tide times out as that means at least 2 hours off the beach ( good time to eat lunch) . A drive to South Stack Island is a must - and worth a climb to the top ( it was the first time opening when we were there since the first lockdown). There are only 6 puffins now at South Stack - take your binoculars and you will see them on the walk down to the lighthouse on the left. Food recommendations- you can’t beat The Sea Shanty for tasty food and value for money. We also had a good meal at The Treaddur Bay Hotel. There are other places but we ate in the apartment the other nights. There are numerous large supermarkets on a retail park 5 minutes before you get to Treaddur so no need to bring all your food with you. There are lots of places to visit including :- Church Bay is a lovely beach - alongside the famous Wavecrest Cafe and also the Lobster Pot Restaurant. There are a few free parking spots along the road, if gone, you will have to use the car park - one of many on Anglesey that charges on average 1hr -£2, 2hrs-£3, 4hrs-£6, 12hrs-£10. A walk along the fabulous Newborough beach to Llanddwyn Island. Parys Mountain/ copper kingdom near Amlwch The ‘Little Church in the Sea’ St Cwyfan’s Church is a tiny medieval church on a tidal island. It is beautiful. Get there just before the tide goes out to see it surrounded by water, then when the tide goes out you can walk over to it. Apparently weddings still take place there with the bride walking over in wellies! Llynon Mill - the only working mill on Anglesey. Cemaes Bay Beaumaris Moelfre and more. Places to drive out to to eat include The White Eagle at Rhoscolyn ( I don’t recommend driving down to the beach though as we got a puncture!) The Oystercatcher at Rhosneigr and there’s the famous Marram Grass ( which is closed at the moment) Anglesey is a lovely island to explore - enjoy your holiday!

Lots of little extras that we didn’t expect to find such as washing up liquid, dishwasher tablets etc. Great location too! The only thing I’d point out (wasn’t the end of the world) but the blinds on the velux let in a bit of light in the mornings so was quite bright. But lovely apartment would highly recommend d and will be back again I’m sure.

  • "We had a great holiday in a good cottage."

The downside was the volume of the tv from the cottage next door. The tv noise was uncomfortable, we tried to knock on the door of the adjoining cottage 3 times to complain but couldn’t get a response. We even left a note asking the occupier to turn the volume down but it didn’t make any difference. We were lucky as the weather was good and we went out every day, it was the evenings that caused us a problem. It was not a peaceful cottage!

It is conveniently located within walking distance of many small coves and a short drive to a lovely sandy beach, near shops and eating places. It is close to the ferry so would suit a break on the way for those travelling to or from Ireland, or those just holidaying around North Wales. I would definitely recommend staying at Isallt and we certainly hope to stay here again next time we travel through to the ferry.
