Huge garden and direct access to the beach, house was perfect and everything you need is there. So relaxing, I didn't want to come home. Cant wait to go back. there. Reviewed by GillianJun 2022 "Wonderful cosy cottage." Great location. Short walks to Sandy beach and church bay. The dog loved the large garden. Really didn’t want to leave. Only niggle was the wind! Reviewed by MaryMay 2022 "This is an excellent property." Really well appointed and equipped. Wonderfully peaceful with direct access to a beautiful, quiet beach. Can’t find fault; would be very happy to return :)) Reviewed by RachelApr 2022 "We had a fantastic stay." The only issue we had was finding the property. The postcode sent us down the lane before the lane we should have taken and the what3words left us at the top of the lane. Thankfully the people in the private white house were able to help us get to the cottage. Reviewed by KarenMar 2022 "Beautiful cottage and stunning location, we had a lovely stay in this spacious cottage." The beds are comfy but on the small side. It is isolated which we knew and wanted so remember to take all your supplies as no welcome pack and only one log for the log burner. The beach is stunning and just out of the gate in the garden. Reviewed by JayneFeb 2022 "Beautiful place, amazing location." The house was spotless, we had everything we needed for the week. The children and the dog absolutely loved the beach being so close. It was such a peaceful stay we absolutely loved it. We will definitely be back! Reviewed by StaceyFeb 2022 "Fantastic location right by the beach and lovely large garden for our dogs ..." Fantastic location right by the beach and lovely large garden for our dogs Cottage warm and cosy , plenty of space to relax indoors after walks Reviewed by MandyJan 2022 "This was our first time visiting Anglesey and Stabl Bach cottage and we were not disappointed the property was amazing, everything we needed was there." The beach and the views at the end of the garden were stunning. Even though it was January we were lucky with the weather too. We went on long walks and just relaxed in this peaceful environment. I would highly recommend booking Stabl Bach to friends and family and would definitely book this property again. Reviewed by DawnJan 2022 "We had a wonderful stay at Stabl Bach!" The garden was fantastic and we loved being able to sit and look at the sea. Being able to easily access the beach was a huge plus. The house has been really nicely kept and we really appreciated that high quality appliances were provided and that the kitchen was very well stocked with absolutely everything you need. It was spotless which was brilliant. The only small thing we’d say is that the internet was quite slow and if that could be improved it would make the cottage perfect! Reviewed by JoannaDec 2021 "The most beautiful location and loved the beach at the end of the garden, watching the sun set sat on the wall/beach was idyllic." We enjoyed exploring coves, rock-pools and the coastal path with the dog. Lovely house, very comfy throughout and all you needed in the kitchen. Great layout if two families are staying together. Would love to go back. Reviewed by JohnDec 2021 "House was lovely and as described." Very well appointed kitchen, even down to supply of dishwasher tablets (something usually absent). Can't emphasise enough the closeness and beauty of the beach. The garden is also very large (big bonus for kids and dogs), which perhaps isn't obvious from the listing. Only downsides were that wifi was a bit temperamental and in general a lot of the attractions we ended up going to were on the East side of the island, so we did a fair bit of driving (but that will come down to individual choices). Reviewed by NeilOct 2021 "Fantastic location." Access directly from the garden to a pristine beach unfrequented by anyone other than the occasional coastal path walker. Our only complaint/constructive criticism is regarding the pillows. They were plentiful but all identical - medium to firm and so springy and thick that three out of our party of five couldn't sleep on them without neck ache. Luckily two of our party had arrived in a motor home with their own pillows so we all got a good night's sleep. Reviewed by CeliaSep 2021 "The only minor things that I would say need addressing, I would say a DVD player should be available, the windows could do with a good clean, a sign on the gate to the beach saying private ( we had several people coming up to the garden to try and get through ) and some spare light bulbs would be handy." Other than that the cottage is in a fabulous location, a bit isolated and a little way from the shops, however I don't think that is to big an issue given the advantage of having a lovely cove a the bottom of the garden with fabulous sunsets. Reviewed by BarryJun 2021 "Just very poor WiFi , if kids have iPads etc, they may struggle." May be worth adding to listing, Apart from that fabulous holiday. Reviewed by LisaJun 2021 "This cottage had everything (except a bread bin!" ) Very comfortable and a homely feel. Having the sea at the end of the garden was an added bonus....its a shame its fully booked for next years school holidays Reviewed by JoyApr 2021 "Beautiful cottage, which had lovely feel to it the bonus was a beach at the end of your garden where we saw the most spectacular sunsets We enjoyed in our stay immensely, very relaxing." Highly recommended Reviewed by SteveOct 2020 "We loved the location, loved the venue." We had a great time. It would be nice to have use of a radio/speaker as we didn’t realise we needed to bring our own and we love listening to music a lot. If we come again we know to bring one. Doesn’t affect our overall view of the holiday though! Reviewed by TristaSep 2020 "Considering that we had been notified of a later check in to allow for deeper house-cleaning to meet requirements for Covid-19, we were disappointed in the standards as there was evidence of fluff, bits of toy (not ours) and dirt behind/under the settees in the t." V. room, the rugs smell of dogs, there were dirty crock pots in the kitchen cupboards, and there was sand across the work surface in the utility room, even before we had unpacked. We reported that the range wasn't burning very hot, indeed had a yellow flame and was sooting up saucepans; that the dining room rug had been left up the wall higher that the skirting board; and that there was water pouring out of the shower unit in the walk in shower. The latter was dealt with in that we were notified that a plumber was to come out....they didn't however turn up, so wasn't resolved during our stay. The rug we moved ourselves, as it was a trip hazard and had prevented the door closing. The cottage is lovely and clearly a great location for family holidays. We will certainly look to book again. Many things you expect to work around when on holiday, because every property has its quirky features , but stating that the later check in time is to give housekeeping more time, is a massive inconvenience when it's not up to high standards that have previously been reported on reviews, and which were one consideration when choosing this property. Reviewed by VjAug 2020 "Very enjoyable stay with our 3 grandchildren under 7,and family." Lovely cottage in a great location. Steps down to the beach at the end of the garden. Coastal path walk to either bay. Very comfortable ,and spacious cottage. Games and books available to use. Would like a couple more dishes that fitted into the side cooker on the range.Would add to directions, that if you pass the school on your left, you have just missed the left hand turn. Otherwise no issues. Wanted to book again whilst we were there, but already booked up.Maybe 2022. Reviewed by AnneJul 2020 "The only hiccup apart from some heavy winds was we found the cottage difficult to locate on first arrival due to a post code that did not exist on my sat nav, and some rather vague written instructions." I phoned your office In some frustration but all they could suggest was that I return to Holyhead and refollow the instruction!!! Holyhead was about 20 minutes away. We eventually found it more by luck than judgement having stumbled across one of the way markers mentioned in guidance note. Mildly frustrating!! The cottage is very remote but wonderful, very spacious, quirky , cosy if not toasty, spotlessly clean , nicely decorated and carpeted and fully kitted out. Perfect in fact It sits next to a nice beach but sadly we did not get the weather to fully enjoy that feature The cottage also sits on the Anglesey Coastal Path with pleasant walks in both direction. Our dog loved it Very highly recommended we would loved to have stayed longer I would only add that the cottage has lots of steps and stairs and would not be great for anyone with mobility issues Reviewed by KevinMar 2020 "Our Holiday was brilliant the weather was not good (storm Dennis ) But we thoroughly enjoyed our time spent inside the Beautiful Stabl Bach we could not have had anything more suitable was warm cosy everything was lovely home from home." Beach was so close too an added advantage in warmer weather.would definitely stay again. The sea was wonderful to watch We wanted to get away from it all and that’s exactly what we did... will definitely be going back. Reviewed by ScottDec 2019 "Would have appreciated more transparency on dogs being welcome, to find when making our reservation, a charge for a second dog." Otherwise the cottage gave our party everything we wanted for our break. It was warm, cosey and very comfortable in the stormy weather we had in our stay, the weather didn't stop us getting out and about - Great Reviewed by MichaelNov 2019 "The accommodation was fantastic - well equipped cottage in a great location." There was everything we could have wanted and we had a wonderful holiday. The only extra thing we would have appreciated was a copy of the manufacturers manuals for some of the appliances - I had to google one to work out how to use the washing machine! These are usually supplied in the welcome book about the cottage along with the wifi code. Reviewed by JanetAug 2019 "Fabulous location and beautifully presented property." Glorious sunsets as we were sitting on the garden wall. It felt like home after a couple of days with every amenity in the house, it was so welcoming. We aged in family from 70 to 2! We were so sad to leave that we are going to book it again very soon. Thank you to the owners. Reviewed by MarilynJul 2019 "The family and the dogs had a great time at Stabl Bach." You can tell the cottage is well loved by the owners - it is well equipped , the decor is of a high standard and the whole house was immaculately presented yet very homely. We loved the finishing touches - particularly all the lovely pictures throughout the cottage . The bed was SO comfortable and we fell asleep listening to the sounds of the sea. The garden was fantastic - a great space for our dog to run and play, with an abundance of wildlife and most importantly great for an early morning cup of tea on the wall overlooking the beach Reviewed by LisaJun 2019 "Location was wonderful, large garden, steps leading down to beach, on most days the beach was ours alone." Would take in the view every morning, was fabulous. The grandchildren and dog loved it. The house was extremely comfortable, cosy and clean. The bedding and towels were high quality. There were plenty of mugs, plates and dishes. It had space for us all to spread out. Only one down side, would help if there was a dryer. Plus a little more of a welcome pack. Would certainly go back and would recommend to our family and friends. Reviewed by KayMay 2019 Show more This property is part of the Menai Holidays collection.
