It’s a great location, very peaceful but only a 5 minute or so drive into Benlech. Great walks on doorstep for our dogs. It’s such a lovely cottage and the owner (Brenda) left us some milk in the fridge, a lovely cake and some Welsh cheese. So thoughtful. We loved it here.

Perfect for our small dog, enclosed garden and the village green on our doorstep. We had everything we needed in the cottage which was immaculate. Good communication with the owner too, when I thought there was no wifi as I couldn’t find the password in the book - (the router is upstairs on the bookshelf and password on the back for anyone else !). Will definitely book again, thank you Brenda x

The cottage is really comfortable and has fantastic views of the sea from the garden and most of the house. There is a common outside the house which is perfect for kids to play and to exercise your dog. The cottage is an excellent location and many wonderful beaches are accessible by short car drives. Bychan beach is a short walk but an incline on the way back. I also made use of the excellent reflexologist who lives next door which added to the relaxation of the holiday. We stayed as a family of four and dog an had the best stay. We would definitely recommend and hope to return again in the future.

Firstly, the property is magnificently situated in the tiny hamlet of marian-glas. The views from the elevated living room provides magnificent views of the open country side down to the sea. The house itself provided everything that a holiday goer needs. Perfectly clean in every aspect from an abundance of fresh towels to superbly fresh bedding. Very lucky to have found this little gem and already searching an available slot for the near future.

The views from the lounge window were wonderful. The cottage is in a lovely part of Anglesey, with so much to see and do across the island. We've already booked again for next year! Our little dog just loves it here as well! The views are beautiful over looking countryside and the sea and everything you need is at the property. On arrival there was milk, cheese, cake and fresh flowers, which was a lovely surprise! Everything is so close by, coastal walks, a variety of dog friendly beaches and pubs, pet supplies, shops etc, perfect place to explore the many beauties of Anglesey. There is a very large grassy common literally on the doorstep, which has been ideal for our dog to run and fetch her ball, with the added bonus of stunning views over the sea... especially at dawn and dusk. The owner Brenda is very friendly, she kindly messaged on the day of our arrival just to check all was ok and is very accommodating. Looking forward to the rest of our week and returning again next year. Would highly recommend to anyone.

  • "The house was very comfortable with everything you might need and the upstairs lounge had stunning views of the countryside and sea including red squirrels!"

However, the twin bedroom reeks of musty damp, so much so that even unworn clothes have had to be washed upon returning home as the musty smell permeated from them. We can only assume this will get worse now with the weather turning (we were able to keep the window open when in the house) so this needs to be addressed ASAP. The wall outside in front of the kitchen doors is very low, only a couple of feet high in places, with a significant drop behind under brambles so not suitable for younger children or a young dog like ours. We weren’t able to leave the patio doors open for fear that our dog might jump up and fall. Overall it’s a lovely, well kitted out property in a beautiful and quiet area but the twin bedroom damp problem needs resolving and the height of the wall needs to be highlighted in the listing so that customers may make an informed decision.

We are glad you found the house comfortable and loved the views as much as we do. We were very surprised to see that you found the twin room musty as this has not been noted before but we will look into it. The wall height has never changed in all the many years we have let the cottage and no-one has had a problem with it in the past but thank you for highlighting it for future guests Property Owner

What a beautiful island and it was complimented by a beautiful cottage! It was spotless, cosy and we just loved everything about it. Whenever we go away we do like a nice cup for a morning brew and the ones in the cottage were all different and wonderful to drink from.. might sound a bit daft to some but a cuppa always tastes better in a nice mug. The view from the living room was amazing, and from the double bedroom too! I never closed the curtains all week. We never had to drive far to find a lovely beach for a walk with our Cockapoo, we will definitely be back to the beautiful Isle of Anglesey and would recommend the cottage 100% ❤️ Thank you for the lovely goodies you left and for letting us stay in your beautiful cottage Janet Stephen and Hollie

We dont normally return to holiday cottages as like to explore new places - this one however is the exception as has everything we look for....We would love to return in the future. The location is excellent, only used the car twice all week as walked the costal path most days to either Benllech, Moelfry or Lligwy Beach where there was always somewhere to stop off for tea and cake. Immediately adjacent to the accommodation is the large village green on which we made friends with other holidaymaker and local residents exercising their dogs. We spent most of our day in the large kitchen/diner on the ground floor the lounge we reserved for late evening on return from site seeing around the island. Everything within the cottage was as described with an abundance of additional items for our comfort and convenience. The outside space was small but the little grassed area adjacent the entrance door was delightful and was in the sun for most of the day, the area would benefit from the surrounding hedge being reduced in height and would still offer complete privacy. We met the red squirrel on three mornings at breakfast as it ran along the wall at the rear of the property. We enjoyed our stay immensely and would recommend the cottage and the area to everyone.

Where to begin, this place was just wonderful for our week on Anglesey. We can’t wait to come back. After staying in a few holiday cottages this one has all the facilities you need and then some. Spotlessly clean. The welcome pack is packed full helpful details about both the house and surrounding area. So much care and thoughtful consideration has gone in to ensure you have the best stay and that you have/know everything you need. The attention to detail was beautiful in both the decor and facilities provided. The upside down style of the house suited us perfectly. Gorgeous views, we spent the first few days just enjoying them in the sun. The location is perfect for visiting lots of places and very local to a couple all year dog friendly beaches, our dog particularly loved Lligwy beach. Local shops very close and lots of small towns nearby, we particularly liked Beaumaris. We all settled in the moment we arrived, including the dog which is very rare! It just felt so homely, the welcome gifts were a wonderful surprise. Although there are houses on either side it’s extremely private and not overlooked at all. Great size garden for the dog and wooded area at the front for a longer daily walk, bedrooms are lovely and spacious. Upstairs the same, plenty of comfy furniture throughout with the large Kitchen being the perfect hub to get together. The bath is pure luxury especially with candles provided for an even more relaxing bath. I don’t have a bad word to say about the place, it’s very clear great care and attention has been taken to ensure you’re comfortable and have everything you need to have a great holiday there. Highly recommend and can’t wait to stay again.
