Glanrhyd Uchaf is a brilliant holiday house on Anglesey that’s all on one level, meaning it’s perfect for all generations!
The open plan spaces allow for a sociable stay and there is plenty of outside space which has a private gate that takes you down onto your very own beach!
The sitting, dining and kitchen areas are combined to provide an open plan space, meaning that those preparing dinner or doing the dishes can still have fun with the rest of the group!
The kitchen has all you need including an electric cooker and hob, fridge, nespresso machine, dishwasher, kettle and toaster.
There is a utility room with an American style fridge freezer with ice machine and washing machine.
The large dining table is extendable and offers plenty of seating.
The seating area is a good size and has sofas, a TV with DVD player and a wood burning stove to add warmth on cooler evenings.
There is also a sun room that has more seating - the ideal space if you need a little quiet time with a book.
The large boot room is the perfect place for storing outdoor gear and dusting off sandy toes.
There are four bedrooms in total.
A master bedroom with a king size bed and an en-suite containing a bath with shower over, towel radiator, hand basin and loo.
Two more rooms with king size beds and a twin room with two additional trundle beds available for children (please request if required).
The family bathroom has a bath, separate shower cubicle, hand basin, towel radiator and loo.
A separate shower room with hand basin and loo.
Outside you’ll find paved and decked seating areas that you can access at points in the house.
There’s a large lawned area too which is ideal for children (or even the dogs!) to play off all that extra energy.
You’ve also got a direct path leading down to the sea and a small beach when the tide is in but with so much more sandy space when the tide is out.
Located on the Cymyran Strait, Glanrhyd Uchaf offers incredible sea views across to Holy Island.
The Anglesey Coastal Footpath passes close to the house whilst you’ll feel like you’re in blissful isolation, a mere 10 minute drive takes you to the nearest village of Valley.
There you will find convenience stores, a butcher and a deli as well as pubs and restaurants.
What’s more, Rhoscolyn and Trearddur Bay are both a short drive.
If you need more space for your group, or would like to return with just a few of you, why not look at the neighbouring houses Bwthyn Glanrhyd (sleeps 4) or Glanrhyd Isaf (sleeps 14).
