Such a beautiful building, well placed with spectacular views and space to spread your wings.

Lovely owner who looks after you and a warm welcome when you arrive. We would go back again as this was ideal for us with 7 of us. Showers and facilities were first rate, and master bedroom was beautiful for us. Nothing to dislike! just perfect ! We had an amazing week.

This is our 3rd time at Ty Nant but our first for summer.

We were celebrating our 30th Anniversary so i choose Ty Nant again because for me it feels like home, cozy, welcoming, spacious and inviting. The beds are amazingly comfortable, top quality bedding, bath towels to the little touches Sam brings to making your stay memorable. Milk is already in the fridge, coffee, tea & sugar. Just enter, unwind, take in the amazing view and plan what you want to do. From the sunrises to the sunsets the view from Ty Nant never disappoints. If I could give Sam more than 5 stars for her attention to detail I would. Ty Nant does not disappoint. Sam thank you for the card and chocolates for our Anniversary plus accommodating for Shadow & the nutter Tilly. Sam i will be booking Ty Nant again. Thank you for a wonderful stay once again.

We had an amazing stay at Ty Nant.

The house was very clean, spacious, comfortable and had everything we needed. The views were incredible and we loved being able to go on walks from the house. The trampoline in the garden was a big hit with our four year old! Communication from Sam was excellent and we were made to feel very welcome.

We were a party of four adults, including my 90 year old mom.

The house is really lovely, everything you need for a comfortable, relaxing holiday and well suited for my mom with a downstairs bedroom & ensuite. The extra little touches were perfect and a great welcome pack was appreciated. The view from the house is amazing. Our host Sam was so friendly and helpful. What can I say about this stunning property and surroundings, other than I would recommend to everyone.

Sam is an amazing host, she was on hand for any questions and presented the property incredibly well. Words come to mind; immaculate, comfortable, luxurious, peaceful. The location was great for exploring and our friends brought their two Jack Russell’s who settled so well and loved the enclosed large garden to explore. Amazing restaurants not far from the property and the views from the garden are spectacular. Loved being able to walk to South Stack and the Lighthouse which is well worth a visit. Beautiful house with everything you need, Sam hasn’t missed anything even her soft thick towels smell devine! Don’t wait, book now!! Highly recommended!! Thank you SO much Sam xx

Home from home with all the comforts and some. Amazing house, beautiful views, plenty of room for everyone. Beds are super comfortable, best enclosed garden for the dogs. Decorated for Christmas which is a added bonus. So many things to do while there 1 week isn't enough. Thank you Sam for sharing Tŷ Nant for families to make amazing memories. Excellent stay as always

We stayed here last year and it absolutely blew us away, from the house itself to the views to the closeness of beautiful walks.

This year was exactly the same! The house is spotless and fully stocked with everything you’d ever need. Sam, the owner is lovely and checked in to ensure we were enjoying our stay despite some wild weather. We’re hardy travellers though and a bit of wind and rain doesn’t bother us. Loved our stay again and would definitely stay again.

This holiday was our third holiday with Sam, first time staying at Ty-Nant what can I say. Sam is friendly approachable, informative but none intrusive. We arrived to a lovely welcome pack, thank you. The farm house & grounds are immaculate, homely, comfortable warm & cosy with underfloor heating spectacular views, private garden. If the weather is bad don’t worry just look out the window watch the sea lapping the rocks, beautiful. We as a family of different age groups all had a fabulous two weeks, sitting round the dining table catching up of life & each other was perfect. Sam we will definitely be back, you go above & beyond as always I would say 5 star plus Thank you.

The house is fantastic with incredible views.

It is homely, comfortable, and warm, as well as beautifully and thoughtfully furnished. It was also spotlessly clean. Sam is delightful, attentive, and very helpful and responsive. The kids loved the trampoline in the garden. I can't think of anything that could be improved. There are wonderful walks directly from the house and a superb beach close-by.

What a fantastic property for our four generations family holiday.

The accommodation catered for all our needs ( ranging from ages 7 months to 91 years), a well equipped kitchen, large comfortable lounge and fantastic large enclosed garden with fabulous sea views. The sunken trampoline was a huge hit with our 2 year old granddaughter! The owner was friendly and easily contacted if needed and the welcome hamper was very generous (we became a little addicted to bara brith as a result!) We all enjoyed a fabulous and very special, memorable family holiday here and would highly recommend the property.

What can we say, the home was immaculate, comfortable and homely, felt right at home from the minute we arrived to the day we left.

Sam is literally the best and couldn’t have been more accommodating if she tried. There is nothing that hasn’t been thought of during the design process and an excellent high standard is the result. We were there for 5 wks in total and Sam & Team came in to clean and change the laundry, they are such a fab team, happy to help and always smiling. The views are an added bonus as is the barbecue and trampoline. Southstack lighthouse is a mere 10 walk and Holyhead is a 10 minute drive. Thank you for sharing your fabulous home and for being so bloomin lovely.

A beautiful property with stunning views from every room.

The owners have thought of everything to make this the perfect holiday home. From the extremely comfortable beds, spacious sofas, well equipped kitchen to the amazing garden - completely enclosed - safe for children and dogs - with stunning sea and Mountain Views. I have stayed in many holiday rentals over a number of years and the quality of furniture and equipment at Ty Nant exceeds them all. The owner, Sam, could not have been more helpful. Huge thanks - we will definitely be returning.

Ty Nant is a wonderful property for a family of adults.

Lots of space, and very well equipped for cooking. The drinks fridge was very useful. The cleanliness of the house was excellent. The stunning clifftop location next door to an RSPB reserve is what gives Ty Nant a real wow factor! Thank you to Sam (the owner) for the welcome pack, and for being so helpful during the week.

What can I say… Ty Nant is absolutely stunning.

The house is beautiful and the garden is perfect for both children and dogs. Very clean in arrival. The location allows for many beautiful walks. Very well equipped kitchen, it even had baking paper which I had forgotten! Sam, the owner is lovely and kept in contact to ensure we were enjoying our stay. I would definitely book this cottage again. Many happy memories made. Thank you.

We loved our stay at Ty Nant, we usually visit Anglesey twice a year and this is best holiday cottage we’ve had.

It was warm, clean and comfortable and everything has been thought of and provided to make it feel really special. Quality furnishings and really comfy beds❤️ The views are absolutely stunning and even though the weather was hit and miss we took every opportunity to sit outside and soak it all up. Contact with Sam the owner was good and she checked that we were settled in and had everything that we needed, We will definitely be back for another visit and would highly recommend.

The house was fabulous, the kids wanted to live there.

The view was stunning and the location was excellent. I'm coming back to Ty Nant. More than that Sam, our housekeeper, went out of her way to make our holiday great - thank you! We have asthmatics so it wasn't just as straightforward as turning up. Sam was excellent in preparing a feather free house :-).

A superb house in a spectacular setting.

I was born and brought up in Holyhead and regularly visit, staying with my mum. This time we were visiting with extended family and our new dog so we had to rent. Renting in my home town felt a bit weird but I couldn’t have been more pleased with the house. The host Sam was excellent. Not even Storm Lilian could dampen spirits.

This is THE most amazing place we have stayed in during more than 15 years of family holidays, I can’t imagine finding anywhere that’s more comfortable, welcoming and better equipped.

The owner, Sam, obviously has a great passion for Ty Nant which is evident in the quality of the furniture, fittings and facilities provided as well as the standard to which the place is maintained and cleaned. She couldn’t be more considerate, thoughtful and helpful too. As a family group of eight with ages ranging from 2 to 75 years, there was plenty of space for all of us to enjoy time either individually or together, indoors as well as out. Whether it was local beaches, nature walks or attractions like the Sea Zoo, there were also plenty of activities that appealed to each of us. So, we found Ty Nant to be the most wonderfully comfortable and attractive cottage with an amazing owner who goes “the extra mile” in her efforts to ensure guests have a superb holiday, and which is perfectly located in ideal surroundings. Will we go back for a third time? You bet!! Allan.

If I could give Ty Nant 10 stars I would. We didn't want to leave. Sam the host is an absolute star. Amazing property, stunning views, luxurious but homely, beds comfortable, bedding top quality and a lovely welcome pack. The dogs loved the enclosed garden. The house had everything you would need and more. South Stack Lighthouse in walking distance. Shops 10 minutes away by car. So much to see and do. 1 week wasn't enough. There was 7 of us plus 2 dogs more than enough room. Thank you Sam we would love to come back. I highly recommend Ty Nant.

Absolutely amazing property, no stone left unturned!

You won't want to leave, Sam (owner) has an incredible home which has everything you could possibly need for a mini break. The views are spectacular too. As a group of six we were spoilt for choice with the bedrooms, all of which are super clean and very comfortable

Beautiful family cottage in an excellent location for visiting South Stacks light house and coves within walking distance of the cottage.

The grand children loved the trampoline in the well fence garden which had great views of the sea and coast line.

Fabulous stay … would definitely book again but unfortunately no bookings for next year .

My only negative comment is the late arrival 5pm and early departure 9am . With two 90 year old parents, one with Alzheimer’s it’s difficult to get them motivated early morning. But we had the best family time together in a beautiful home with stunning views celebrating their platinum 70th wedding anniversary x

A lovely property in close proximity to South Stack Lighthouse which we enjoyed walking to each evening to watch the sunset.

This was our first visit to Anglesey and we’ll definitely be returning.

We had a wonderful stay at Ty Nant and didn't want to leave.

The holiday home has been refurbished to a high standard and is in a beautiful setting. The trampoline in the front garden was certainly a hit with the children. It had everything that we needed for our stay and it was immaculately clean, probably the cleanest holiday let that we have stayed in.

Ty Nant is a fabulous home for 8 people.

It is well equipped, very comfortable, is in a great location with lovely views and has everything it needs to be a perfect holiday home. We had some brilliant walks whilst we were there and it provided a great base to visit other places from.

Comfortable beds and luxury bedding. spotlessly clean. Walking distance to stack lighthouse and holyhead mountain. Only 10 minutes drive to supermarkets. There is so much to see and explore and nothing more than a 40 min drive. Sam is a brilliant host, never intrusive.Would highly recommend.

We had expectations - two in fact.

One was that weather would be horrible and the other was that the property would be superb. Both our expectations were exceeded. We've been to many great houses all over the UK and this one is up there with the very best. Warm, comfortable, clean and welcoming. We had a brilliant stay at Ty Nant.

The accommodation is top class, expertly finished and spotlessly clean. We used two bedrooms which were spacious and well laid out. The ensuite bathrooms were excellent with wonderful monsoon showers. The kitchen had everything you could want for a self-catering stay and the lounge was spacious and comfortable. The views over to the bay were glorious and it was invigorating to see the sea crashing over the rocks on windy days. We couldn't fault anything about our stay, even the weather was kind on most days. Our hostess, Sam, was kind and helpful and provided a lovely welcome pack. Thanks Sam for a superb break!

Our 2nd stay at this fabulous place.

It is by far the cleanest holiday home we have ever been to. The garden is very doggy friendly with absolutely no escape holes even for our little terrier!! 3 of the 4 bedrooms are en-suite and the kitchen is well stocked. The wifi and phone signal can be poor but that is the area and can't be helped and didnt spoil our enjoyment at all. We had already made a booking (made last year) for a 3rd visit next August 2023 - that is how much we love this special place! We were very sad therefore that our booking for August 2023 was cancelled and Ty Nant is no longer available as a holiday home. However we wish Sam the owner all the very best for the future and in the event that she changes her plans and continues to let Ty Nant as a holiday home - we will certainly be back!!

Our new favourite.

In the 40 years since we married we have stayed on Anglesey at least once a year. We have stayed in every sort of cottage/ caravan and hotel. We really love Trearddur, but this has got to be our favourite. We stayed as a party of 11 in this cottage and next door for an anniversary celebration, there is literally something for everyone. We had runners, walkers, bird watchers, TV watchers and book readers....we also had some trampoliners by the end of the holiday. The cottage is comfortable clean and has literally everything you need and more. Sam, the host could not have been more helpful, she found us walks and even an Indian Takeaway that delivered. I would book to go again today, but it is incredibly popular, as soon as I see a vacancy I'll be in there. Karen

The cottage was absolutely amazing.

The location was perfect - being able to see the sea was such a treat. We have never been in a cleaner or more well appointed property. It was absolutely spotless- the bathrooms gleamed and there was everything you could possibly need in the kitchen. Beds were so comfortable. Excellent cottage, furnished to a very high standard.

The level of cleanliness was superb. We stayed over the Christmas period and it was a lovely touch to have a fully dressed Christmas tree in the lounge area. The welcome pack was a lovely gesture and also very appreciated. It is great to stay in a cottage that as plenty of car parking space and great exterior views of the surrounding countryside and ocean. A big thank you to Sam the owner for providing a level of comfort and quality that is rarely found.

We’ve had a fantastic week in Ty Nant.

The house was perfect for the seven of us and we’ve had such a relaxing time. 10/10 for location, cleanliness, facilities and even the weather was kind for this time of year.

We stayed to celebrate my mums birthday. The house is fabulous and Sam the owner lives nearby and couldn't have been more friendly and welcoming. The house has been finished and furnished to a very high spec. I wanted to stay in bed all weekend as the beds were so comfy and the down bedding was sumptuous. Highly recommend. We will be booking again

I think some sort of blind on the velux in the master bedroom would be good especially during the summer when the light will flood the bathroom and therefore the bedroom with early morning light.

Also a small food waste caddy in the kitchen would be a good idea. The seating in the living room is actually a lot nicer than the property photos so perhaps upload more recent photo? A great property and a fabulous location

The house is simply incredible. Sam takes such great care of the house, but also communicating with her guests! We will be back next year! Such a fantastic house!

This is my second visit to this wonderful property and everything was perfect.

There are amazing views from the windows and only a short walk to South Stacks Lighthouse and there are other great walks straight out of the door. It was always lovely to return after a day out to such a comfortable, well equipped property. This is a great place for a family get together with plenty of space. This is one of the best property’s I have ever stayed in and I would like to thank Sam the owner who is always very helpful if there are any issues. This is truly an amazing place to stay.

What an amazing place!

The house was extremely clean and has everything you could possibly need and more! Plenty of space for us 6 adults, 2 children and 1 dog. The views were beautiful and we spent plenty of time in the garden with the kids on the trampoline. It’s in a lovely location and we had some lovely days out and visited some beautiful beaches. Sam was a wonderful host and went out of her way to make our holiday great. Would definitely recommend a stay here and we would all love to return again one day.

The best place I have ever stayed at.

Ideal location for birdwatching within walking distance of South Stack nature reserve. Such lovely clean and comfortable accommodation. A lot of effort has gone into making it Covid safe. I have been shielding for such a long time so staying at somewhere other than home was a big deal, but I felt reassured that this is a covid safe property. Lovely little touches such as the welcome tray, and the owner/caretaker Sam kept in contact to make sure we had everything we need. Loved it so much, that I'm looking forward to going back.

Very well refurbished house in a wonderful coastal location.

Ty Nant is a beautiful house in a perfect location, even my son in law who never comments on the 'holiday homes' (Grandaughter's description) we stay in, said it was brilliant and went round taking photos inside and out.

The perfect thing about this house and location is the calm theat just seeps into you over the week. We were extremely sorry to leave, and as my grandson said, 'This is the best holiday home Grandma'.

As a party of 6 (3 couples) we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Ty Nant from 6-9 March 20.

The property was really spacious with 4 very good sized bedrooms. The master bedroom was really special with stunning views of the beach. The cottage was really well equipped too with all kitchen ware etc that you need. Sam, the owner was lovely and made sure we had everything we needed and even left us some welcome gifts, which was a really nice touch. Would highly recommend Sykes Holiday Cottages, especially Ty Nant for a break with stunning views and lots of room to chill out in. We would love to go back!

We stayed in the cottage 31st Jan to 3rd Feb for a long weekend, there were 7 of us and it didnt feel over crowded it's a lovely space.

House was very clean and had a lovely feel to it.

The views are simply stunning even in December. It’s so peaceful and was fantastic for our short break pre Christmas. The kids loved the trampoline and the dog had a great time running about like a mad thing and going on walks to lighthouse. Sam was an excellent host and in contact if there had been any issues but everything went smoothly.

This is such a wonderful location.

We had a lovely welcome from Sam.The accommodation was very clean and very comfortable with everything we could possibly need. We loved the little touches from the welcome tray with Welsh tea & welsh baked goods, to the embroidered emblem on the towels. Loved it so much we rebooked for next year.

Our second time staying at Ty Nant this time for 2 weeks.

Everything was as good as we remembered it. Sam is so welcoming and keen that guests have a great stay. She arranged for a clean mid holiday including clean sheets and towels which was a real bonus. The house is so well equipped and comfortable that it really is a home away from home. We wanted for nothing. We have been to Anglesey over 15 times now but this is by far and away the best property we have stayed in. We hope to go back.

After a lovely welcome by the owner Sam we spent a lovely week at the very well equipped and spacious cottage, one of the best we have stayed in!

The weather could have been kinder but there was plenty to do in the cottage to keep us entertained (having Sky Q is a definite winner!) We would definitely recommend a stay here!

Just returned from a lovely week at Ty Nant, we love the area and the house provided everything we could have wanted, hours of fun spent in the large garden and the fire pit came in useful at night, with the stunning views in the background.

Fantastic house, great owner Sam, nothing too much trouble, weather helped as sun shined all week, but I would gladly stay here during winter, far reaching views, of mountains, hills, fields, and the sea.

Huge garden, which was a hit with all ages, and what a bonus to take a short walk up to the RSPB protected South stack with mesmerising views and thousands of sea birds, wow. Without a doubt one of the best rentals we have ever stayed in over the years, and we have stayed at some belters. A short drive to Porth Dafarch beach, stunning with cliff walks too, and Trearddur Bay, brilliant safe beach for all. If you like a quality burger, head to Petes burger bar at Penrhos coastal park. We also had good food at Simply street food in Holyhead, very reasonable prices, and tried Catch 22 at Valley, around six mile away, pricier, but all seven of us had no complaints. If new to visiting Anglesey try to visit Raf Valley to see the various jets, I like to park up at the golf club at Rhosneigr and walk to the sand dunes, if jets taking off from there its a treat. And finally if reasonably fit, please take a walk up Holyhead mountain, and maybe down to North Stack, outstanding. enjoy every minute if you are lucky enough to rent this property, we will be back.

Easiest rating and review I've ever written!

First of all, Ty Nant was a beautiful home from home, just what you'd want for a weekend (or longer if you're lucky) retreat. All furnishings, fittings and appliances were first class and the setting of the cottage was second to none! Secondly, Sam looked after us so well, she was there to greet us on arrival, kept in touch during the weekend and we were lucky to see her before we left. She also went the extra mile when I left something behind (one of my annoying traits!). We'll definitely be back, sooner rather than later hopefully!
