  • "We stayed the 1st week of July '22 for 7 days."

It's a lovely property, well equipped for a comfortable stay and cleaned to a high standard (though we did note a couple of spiderwebs and resident spiders). The perimeter is secure to allow dogs to roam without fear of escape, similar for young children too. A couple of points to call out, the shower over the bath on the first floor seems to have an issue with the temperature gauge, meaning it's stuck at a set temperature, that is quite hot. The property is equipped with a rotary washing line, however, it's tucked away in the shade, and grubby from being left out. It might be worthwhile providing a retractable line to allow guests to take advantage of sunshine over the garden, or equipping the property with a dryer. Several lightbulbs in the property appear to be early versions of energy savers, which take an age to come up to full brightness, and suffer from poor light output, it might be worth replacing with some modern warm white LED's to give a nicer even ambient light. The points above are all minor, and shouldn't be a reason to not consider this property. Its location is fantastic, 5 minutes walk to the beach, what more can you ask for!

Every convenience we could have needed from kitchen equipment to laundry facilities, play activities for kids and adults. Ample space, beds very comfortable and plenty bathrooms. Location great for accessing lovely beach, 5 minute walk, and other facilities, park and restaurants. Excellent base to have a ride out to amusement parks for kids.

  • "Lovely property - light, airy, spacious and very clean."

Plenty of parking space. Well equipped, good WiFi (important for the teenagers!). We had no issues at all and loved staying there - we will be back! Close by we ate at the Sea Shanty cafe and Oceans Edge restaurant and both were fantastic. Beach was 5 mins walk away. Weather - we didn’t book the superb sunshine but we are glad it turned up - Trearrdur Bay was beautiful and the beach was lovely and clean, really relaxed vibe. Excellent stay, Thankyou!

  • "Bryn Dale is a fabulous holiday house with more than enough space for 8 people."

Very clean and well thought out with an excellent utility room to dry clothes, plenty kitchen utensils, board games etc. It would be nice, as in all these self catering houses, to be left a little washing powder at least and maybe a few extra toilet rolls. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this comfortable and cosy house. The location was perfect too - 3 min walk to the little bay and promenade and at least 4 or 5 delicious options for lunch and dinner, all within easy walking distance. Thank you very much!!

  • "Wow what a place to stay."

The house is beautiful and very spacious. There was 8 adults and 1 child on our first family holiday and it was big enough for us. Not sure why someone had commented on the beds being uncomfortable as that was certainly not the case they all were extremely comfortable. The house was very clean for when we arrived we couldn't fault it. The kitchen was very well equipped with every utensil, pots and pans you can think of. Fridge is huge plus there is a second one in the utility room. We cooked 5 nights and ate out 2 nights. Highly recommend the Ocean’s Edge restaurant it was superb and only 2 minute walk. Sea shanty good for ice creams and food. Perfect location right near the beach. We defiantly will be booking soon.

  • "A wonderful place to stay and so close to the beach."

5min walk max. Our older kids enjoyed the freedom the house offered in terms of being so close to the shops and the sea to do their own thing. The house was great, really clean and well presented. The local area is stunning, so many bays to explore for swimming, snorkelling and SUP. We loved exploring the coastal paths. I’d go back in a heart beat

Ideal for family of 10 with 5 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. Plenty of kitchen ware. BUT all badly let down by extremely uncomfortable beds. I spent 2 nights sleeping on the downstairs settee.

Clean , bright and airy and everything there that you might need. A good sized play area for the children and outside eating area. The location was great, a short walk down to the lovely beach. Have already been recommending it to family & friends. Will definately be returning.

  • "The house is great, location is great."

We had loads of space which was lovely, only downside is kids waking early as the curtains/blinds weren’t blackout in the slightest, so by the end of the week everyone was tired and and grumpy. That would be a really easy fix. A tumble dryer would have been super useful too.

  • "Whilst the house was lovely large and airy, for the price I would have expected simple things to be sorted."

All the beds were extremely hard and uncomfortable. 3 lamps in the living/ dining room weren’t working. 1 lamp in the living / dining room had a broken shade. Minimal amount of toilet rolls and tea towels. Both fridges felt like they weren’t completely working properly. Some of it just felt a bit tired and dated - think it needs a bit of sprucing up in terms of bedroom furniture and artwork ( the canvasses are a bit naff and dated). I have run a luxury holiday home and would always ensure these things were nailed before any bookings (which were at 2/3s the cost). Kitchen was lovely though and had everything we needed equipment wise. Great kitchen for those who love to cook. Great selection of games to play too! Loved the monopoly set. House was big enough to have our own space away from the family. The 2 dogs loved it too, and had a nice big garden to wander around in feeling secure.

Thank you for your feedback. We were sorry to hear you were disappointed with some of the amenities and features during your recent stay. In terms of the beds, additional mattress toppers have now been provided to allow guests the choice of a firm or soft bed. Light bulbs are checked regularly, but unfortunately, some can slip through the net. The lamps in the living room need to be switched on via the main light switch, as well as, the individual lamps, and we will ensure these are working. We will also check the fridges are at the correct temperature. Property Owner

Very comfortable with lots of space for everyone. Kitchen is equipped with everything you need and more. Two things would improve it; a tumble dryer, especially for the cooler months, and outdoor furniture so you can enjoy the garden when the weather is good. Would definitely go again and would recommend it for a great stay at Trearddur Bay.

  • "This is a great house in a perfect location to the beach and restaurants literally a 10 minute walk The kitchen is very well equipped, there is plenty on space to sit and eat in both the kitchen and the dining room."

The bathrooms and bedrooms are lovely too. Lots of toys in the cupboards to keep the children entertained and windbreakers for the beach. The only negative is that because of the Covid situation I would have expected the house to have been deep cleaned and it wasn't which was disappointing and somewhat worrying.

  • "This is a large, well-appointed, well-positioned house for an excellent family holiday on Anglesey."

Although there were only 6 of us, we were able to spread out and enjoy the space and number of bedrooms and bathrooms. The kitchen was also excellent. Everything is pretty much as you'd expect for a 5star property. Nice touches are also apparent, such as beach equipment, toys, games and books for the children and a range of DVDs. If we could criticise anything, across our group, we found the double/king mattresses throughout too hard and the broadband connection was dire. This apparently reflects the part of the world and not the connection to the property itself. Finally, if you're travelling with a little one, we would strongly advise bringing your own travel cot.
