    Mrs Powell

“(1) The bottom hinge on the fridge door has the screws missing.”

    ...

    (2) The fridge leaks and the water drains into the bottom drawer. (3) The freezer needs defrosting. (4) The garden needs attention. (5) We went out to the shops leaving the wife's 90 year old mother with the dog in the bungalow. When we returned we were informed by a passing jogger that three youths had been standing on the driveway and one of them had been looking through the front room windows.Luckily the wife's mother had been sitting in the conservatory and the dog's barking seemed to scare them off. We found this quite worrying.

This property is part of the Menai Holidays collection.

The cottage

This recently refurbished family bungalow, located on a quiet lane in Trearddur Bay, has been tastefully decorated and furnished.

It has all the mod cons you need for a wonderful, relaxing holiday in North Wales. The warm and welcoming sitting room has a dining table to seat ten at one end and sliding glass doors leading to the conservatory at the other.

It is tastefully decorated in calming, soft colours with comfy squishy sofas and a wood burning stove.

There is a flatscreen TV and DVD/Bluray player. The contemporary high gloss white kitchen has garden views.

It is well equipped with an electric hob, oven and grill, microwave, and integrated fridge and freezer. The small utility room has a washer/dryer. The lovely conservatory has comfy seating.

It leads out onto the private decking where you will find a warm, bubbling hot tub to wind away the stresses and strains of modern life! There are five thoughtfully furnished bedrooms with lovely comfy beds.

These include a double with single bunk over, a superking (with en-suite bathroom with loo, wash hand basin, shower with drencher head and hand held attachment), a twin room with two singles, a king size, and a further twin room with zip n link beds which can be made up as two singles or as a large double.

Two of the bedrooms have a TV/DVD player.

The bunk room has a Nintendo Wii and Xbox 360 + games. There is a lovely modern family bathroom with a wash hand basin, heated towel rail, loo and a bath with shower over. The enclosed lawned rear garden has decking and a hot tub to relax in.

There is a lawned garden at the front with parking for 2 - 3 cars and a lockable storage shed for kayaks, bikes and inflatables. Guests are advised that as the hot tub needs to be cleaned and emptied for each new set of guests, the water may not be fully up to temperature on the first evening of their stay.

Pencraig is a spacious bungalow, great for two families or friends wanting to holiday together.

The enclosed garden offers you privacy to enjoy the sunshine, while children and pets can safely keep themselves busy.

Complete with a patio area, ideal for enjoying alfresco meals after a busy day at the beach, and even your own hot tub to soak and relax in. Located on the west coast of Anglesey, Pencraig holiday house is just a two-minute drive to the seaside village of Trearddur Bay boasting a blue flag beach, rock pools, beautiful scenery and gastro pubs.
