  • "Another relaxing and enjoyable week."

Weather was quite kind to us. We enjoyed the company of the friendly pheasant, hope he is still there when we return in June.

What a lovely place too and as with everyone else who stays here will soon be back. Beautifully accommodated and very well kept, thank you to whoever cares for this home, garden and farm. Janice and David.

  • "One of our favourite places to stay on Anglesey."

Beautiful property in a great location with stunning sea views. Very comfortable. We’ll be returning later this year. Just a couple of housekeeping niggles. Bath mats not left for every bathroom and vacuums should be checked by housekeeping on each changeover they were very clogged up so difficult to vac around before we left.

So kind and sorry yes some confusion with bath mats, we bought some nice John Lewis replacements for here and the other units on top of the usual wear & tear replacement items which are ordered weekly. Apologies for the hoover being stored full, we have spoken to housekeeping who are aware guests do like to clean up from time to time! Property Owner

Thoroughly recommend it to all! Chips in Beaumaris are the best + red boat ice cream parlour! Foel farm is brilliant for little ones+ the sea zoo. Beautiful walks, beautiful island, beautiful life. Beautiful weather too! Someone looking after us!

The views are stunning, being able to watch the sunrise over the sea each morning was truly magical. The standard of the accommodation is 1st class (5 stars). This is our first visit but definitely not our last. Just perfect.

  • "Second time at Penrhyn Barn and it didn't disappoint."

The space in the barn is ample for 3 families and with 3 en-suite there is no arguments. The views are fantastic and the location ideal for peace and quiet. Although difficult to find in the dark after 5:00pm (1 couple got lost and another person also got lost looking for them!!) We will definitely visit again when there is availability. Thank you Dulas Estate.

So kind, we are glad you enjoyed your stay. As to location fnding, this is confusing as the agent will have emailed you the what 3 words address which is specific which is in addition to the description. Postcodes here are not sufficient, you should also have received an electronic pack containing a link to the what 3 words app which would have led you direct to the door. Thank you for your feedback and we look forward to your return. Property Owner

  • "It was worth the wait to stay at Penrhyn Barn, having had cancellations due to Covid."

It’s a fabulous place. Temperature is beautifully controlled and was plenty warm enough and didn’t need to light the stove. All equipment very good quality as is bedding and furnishings. Fantastic views and a lovely comfortable space to relax. Unfortunately hadn’t taken a pen so couldn’t share this feedback in the Visitor Book. Welcome pack was appreciated. Only being picky here but would appreciate a short rail on the wall besides the loo, just like the one in the shower area as someone with mobility issues. Wet room works really well though. Finally a few more teaspoons would be great! Thanks for maintaining such a good standard of accommodation, keep It up! We have booked again for April next year.

  • "We all loved staying in Penrhyn Barn - I felt instantly at home as soon as we walked in the door."

A great place to stay to celebrate our son’s 40th Birthday. It was very well equipped with everything you needed. Beautiful decor & gorgeous bedrooms. Quality products have been used throughout. I wanted to take the sun room home! Stunning views over the sea. Loved watching the light change! So peaceful - just the sound of the birds & the sea. The only negative was that the living room chairs & sofas were too low & uncomfortable to sit in - had to use the cushions to support our backs but still didn’t feel right. Also it would have been helpful in the directions to actually name the caravan sites that you pass so you would definitely know you were on the right road! (There was no sign coming off the main road which said “ Lligwy beach). We all got lost (3 cars) on first arrival when it was nearly dark & being on an unfamiliar road. My son didn’t have a phone signal on the lanes so we couldn’t communicate the correct route once we found it! Overall we loved our stay & would book again. We were not happy at all that we couldn’t gain access to the property until 5pm & had to leave at 9am, given the money we paid for 4 nights. It doesn’t take that long to clean a property even with COVID cleaning, given that we left it very tidy & had to strip all the beds.

Fabulous!! Came to celebrate our son's 40th birthday, felt at home as soon as we stepped in the door. Had a fabulous time, love the barns and views. Thanks Gaskin Family. (apart from living room sofas and chairs which we found too low and uncomfortable, other wise all great)

  • "One of many visits to Penrhyn Barn/Farm."

Amazing location, well thought out interiors, soft furnishings are beautiful, outdoor furniture great, pots fabulous and views to die for. Not to mention the hop and skip from a beach or the coastal path. Happy for you to post above. But privately property not as clean as it has been, also find 5pm and 9am unfair ( means only 6 day holiday) in addition we are being asked to carry out bed stripping etc which means less cleaning to do. Especially as there was no evidence of additional cleaning or hygiene measures.

.. and it hasn't disappointed! The house is spacious yet cosy and comfortable and was a lovely setting for our family holiday. The views are beautiful, and the garden is a perfect spot for BBQS & croquet! We have only ventured as far as Beaumaris Castle, and Lligwy beach as Traeth Ora and the immediate surroundings are so beautiful. Thank you for a lovely holiday and for a much appreciated welcome pack.

All furnishings & appliances are high quality & comfortable. Perfect place for my husband to recuperate after surgery. Relaxing on the patio was my favourite place to be, watching the waves, the only sounds to hear being birds & insects - pure bliss!

  • "This house is genuinely perfect."

It's beautifully furnished and really well equipped, immaculately clean and tidy. The beds are perfect, the bathrooms lovely (especially the master bedroom / bathroom) and the location is wonderful with easy access to a lovely quiet beach. Best of all though is the view from the patio at the back of the house which is breathtaking. The photos simply don't do it justice and it really has to be seen to be believed. We have stayed in lots of holiday houses both in the UK and abroad, and this is the best of the lot. The memories of sitting around the fire pit at the end of the day looking out over the sea will stay with us for a long time.

  • "Penrhyn Barn is a very special place to stay, not least because of the amazing vista, the value of which cannot be measured."

It exceeded expectations in a sense of the environment it’s set in, tranquil and peaceful, even my grandchildren, who are teenagers weren’t bored with their evening visits to the secret beach and exploring the coastal walks. My stepson met the owner on the beach by chance and I’d like to thank the family for providing us with a safe haven for our weeks adventure!

  • "Absolutely fabulous week, would not change anything about the Barn, it is perfect."

Rooms are spacious, bright and well furnished. The heat system is superb and kept the Barn at a lovely temperature throughout our stay. The views are fantastic and what a way to wake up in the morning, looking out to sea! The garden is secure which was helpful for our dog. Coastal walks, secret beach and amenities are all close by. The cafe at Lligwy Beach is a must see with the best hot chocolate I've tasted. The small details of Christmas decorations, binoculars and hand wash gave the Barn a homely feel and were appreciated. Will definitely visit again if available.

  • "Lost count of how many times we have stayed at Dulas Estate."

We watched you get to work on the Barn, and knew that it would be amazing. It is a fabulous property and the view does not disappoint. We have had a few week with brilliant weather. lazy days on Traeth Ora and BBQs on the terrace. Walks at Moelfre, Newborough and Aberffraw. Already booked for August next year and back at Penrhyn Farm in March.

  • "We came back and the house is just as brilliant."

The view is just absolutely stunning. Spent everyday on the beach swimming and crabbing, catching a record breaking 117 crabs! The weather was lovely which made the holiday and we all came back with a souvenir of a suntan. Very accessible and pretty coastal path and had a lovely trip to Moelfre enjoying lunch at Ann's Pantry. Overall a fantastic holiday and a relaxing break. I hope we will be back soon.

  • "We loved our stay at Penrhyn Barn for so many reasons."

The accommodation was spotlessly clean, beautifully furnished and extremely comfortable. Everything in the kitchen was top quality, the sitting room was comfortable with the best television I have ever seen (there are also televisions in the kitchen and the bedrooms), and the smaller sitting room, which we called the sun room, with windows on two sides with wonderful views, was a lovely place to sit and relax with a book. The patio and garden were delightful with lovely garden furniture and beautiful flower pots. It was so relaxing to sit on the patio and look out at the beautiful views and listen to the birds singing. It is only a short walk from the house down to a beautiful sandy beach or the coastal path. We loved it so much that we have already booked to return next year.

  • "We absolutely love it here!"

It is a real home from home which seems to get nicer every time we come. We have days in and days out but whatever we do we love it. Every morning, when we see the view, it doesn't fail to take our breath away. We are lucky to be able to stay in such a stunning location. Another great week at this beautiful house - the sunrises and sunsets take your breath away, they got better and better each day. Hard to leave on Friday. See you soon.

  • "Penryn Barn What can I say in normal circumstances its all about Location Location Location, in the case of Penryn Barn it is all about VISTA VISTA VISTA."

The property really must be one of the best on the Island with sumptuous furnishings, fantastic sunrises across the ocean to stunning sunsets. Most of all we experienced an amazing sight of the Moon rising above The Great Orme, huge orange ball then bright white giving a sensational flood of moonlight across Lligwy beach, so special. Plenty of wild life from Buzzards, Sparrow Hawks, Seals, Cormorants Pheasants, partridge, ducks, even humans in boats, jet skis, kyaks. Penryn Barn is well placed for the Coastal Path and even more a secluded secret beach. Am not going to give the name !!! We were blessed to have been able to experience the most tranquil spot on Anglesey. Well we think so and we may be a bit biased. This has pushed us even further to re-locating to Anglesey. We did not realise but we were able to rekindle an old friendship, someone we have not seen for 15 years they were staying in Traeth Ora Cottage. Such a coincidence and lots of reminesense Thank you so much once again to you and all the team at Menai Holidays for arranging this tremendous, recent experience. Will you be able to top it ?
