The accommodation was spotlessly clean, beautifully furnished and extremely comfortable. Everything in the kitchen was top quality, the sitting room was comfortable with the best television I have ever seen (there are also televisions in the kitchen and the bedrooms), and the smaller sitting room, which we called the sun room, with windows on two sides with wonderful views, was a lovely place to sit and relax with a book. The patio and garden were delightful with lovely garden furniture and beautiful flower pots. It was so relaxing to sit on the patio and look out at the beautiful views and listen to the birds singing. It is only a short walk from the house down to a beautiful sandy beach or the coastal path. We loved it so much that we have already booked to return next year.

The property

Penrhyn Barn is a five-star holiday cottage on the Lligwy Estate in a stunning location near Moelfre, on the east coast of Anglesey.

As you gently meander down the lane towards the sea, that blissful holiday feeling begins.

Once you enter the house, that 'magic' intensifies.

You will not want to leave this one! Recently restored and renovated, Penrhyn Barn has breathtaking views from nearly every window.

The large patio area and garden are just amazing.

A few steps take you to the coastal footpath, leading to a beautiful beach that's always quiet and is only accessible on foot. The kitchen area is well-equipped with a range oven, induction hob, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, microwave, coffee maker and toaster.

There is a dining table and six chairs.

In the utility room you will find a washing machine, tumble dryer and ironing board. There are two sitting rooms.

The first has large comfortable sofas and chairs, a wood burning stove, SMART TV, Blu Ray DVD player, maps, games and books.

The second is a fabulous sunroom with seating and doors opening on to the patio area, making the most of the views. The first bedroom on the ground floor is a double room with super king sized bed and doors opening onto the patio.

Stairs from the sitting room lead to the next two rooms.

The master double ensuite has a king sized bed and there is also a twin ensuite bedroom.

All bedrooms have a SMART TV. On the ground floor there is a wet room with shower, loo and wash hand basin.

Both ensuite bedrooms upstairs have a bath with shower over, loo and wash hand basin. There is a large garden and patio area with garden furniture and barbecue, and ample parking.

An outside shower is perfect for hosing down sandy toes and a drying room for your beach and walking gear is shared with neighbouring Penrhyn Farm. This is a spacious, bright, and wonderfully designed holiday house.

Penrhyn Barn sits next to Penrhyn Farm and is perfect for extra large groups to share a holiday or special celebration together whilst retaining privacy.
