If you're looking for a five star holiday cottage in a stunning location, then this is it!
Penrhyn Farm is located in the pretty fishing village of Moelfre on the east coast of Anglesey.
As you make your way down the lane towards Lligwy Beach, you leave the hustle and bustle of life behind you.
The large sitting room has two seating areas.
Curl up on the comfortable sofas in front of the wood burning stove, or sit by the French window admiring the view out to sea.
It is a great social room with a TV with Freeview, Blu-ray DVD, and a Bluetooth speaker.
The open plan kitchen/dining area is kept cosy with the wood burning stove, and you can relax around the large dining table.
The kitchen is well equipped with a fridge/freezer, dishwasher, microwave, electric oven and hob.
Off the kitchen is a utility area, complete with washing machine and tumble dryer.
This is also a perfect place for dogs to sleep or dry off.
There is a ground floor bedroom with zip ‘n' link beds which can be made up as twins or a double.
This bedroom also has a TV which is perfect for children to relax in.
There is a downstairs cloakroom with loo and wash hand basin.
Upstairs, the master bedroom has a super-king size bed and an en suite shower room.
The second double bedroom has a king size bed and the third room has zip ‘n' link beds for use either as a double or a twin.
The bedrooms are furnished with a mixture of painted wooden furniture, bright and cheerful fabrics, hotel quality beds, Egyptian cotton bedding, allergy-free duvets and pillows, and John Lewis towels.
The simple colour scheme of the family bathroom lends itself to the seaside location with tongue and groove panelling, painted in French blue with simple bright white tiles.
The bath has a shower over, and there is a heated towel rail, loo and wash hand basin.
The large patio is a great sun trap, with wooden and rattan patio furniture and a barbecue and sandy feet can be washed off in the outdoor shower.
The famous Moelfre lifeboat station and heritage centre are well worth a visit.
Further along the coast is Benllech, with a mixture of shops and cafes, and its own Blue Flag beach.
The beautifully restored Penrhyn Farm sits on the coastal footpath looking along the shoreline towards Lligwy.
A few steps in the other direction takes you down to Traeth y Ora, which means ‘gold beach' - and you can see why!
This virtually private beach is only accessible on foot.
You can spend relaxing days on this wide arc of soft golden sand, keeping an eye out for seals and dolphins passing by.
This is a fantastic house for families and friends.
If there is more than 8 in your party you can also book Penrhyn Barn next door which sleeps 6.
Please note that the broadband is limited.
The beds will be made made up as advertised, if you would like a different bed configuration please contact Menai Holidays 7 days before your arrival.
