The cottage was as described, clean, well appointed and with all kitchen equipment etc provided.

We didn't use the log burning fires as the central heating radiators were more than adequate to keep the cottage warm but logs and fire lighting equipment was there should we have needed it. The area was quiet and journeys to surrounding towns easy to make.

The house is lovely and in a really nice area.

We have stayed three times now. One negative for this visit though was that there was a strong smell of diesel emanating from the boiler cupboard which permeated throughout the house unfortunately. At first we thought that perhaps the system had just been replenished and we waited for a few days, but it continued throughout our stay. This should be investigated and corrected.

Fabulous cottage, very comfortable & an excellent base for exploring the local area.

All on the level which was great for my elderly father. We had a fantastic time
