    Amazing views. Had everything in the Lodge you needed. Plenty of extras and thoughtful supplies. John the owner met us at the Lodge and explained how everything worked. He was very friendly and it was lovely to meet him.

  • "Everything was perfect."

    On our arrival John was there to greet us and show us around. There was milk and tea coffee and a few other basic provisions. The view from the balcony was spectacular. Bethanys retreat was a great base to explore the area .I am sure we will be back

  • "Great place everything you need."

    Owner thought of everything very pleasant site, quiet (we were there out of season) lovely spot for exploring Largs and surrounding areas. Plenty of walks and plenty of time to relax. Would definitely recommend plenty of space and cooking facilities if you want to cook yourself or local takeaway places nearby. Definitely will be going back.

  • "Absolutely beautiful lodge, owner (John) was lovely, very welcoming showed me round the Lodge and where everything was and how it worked, it's so much larger than shown in pictures."

    And the views just Wow!! Amazing. The owners John & Elaine also go above and beyond making sure there's fresh milk in fridge, variety of coffee and tea, sauces etc nice sweet treats, flowers. Had a wonderful stay, even with bad weather. Would highly recommend this property. See yous both soon. Thank you

    the lodge was well equipped with everything you needed. The owners added extra touches were apricated. They only uncomfortable element was an uncomfortable mattress on the double bed. this did not take away any of our enjoyment. Thank you very much.

  • "What a beautiful stay we had, met by Eileen she's so friendly and welcoming showing us around and where everything was and also some local recommendations."

    The Lodge had everything we could need an more even the small touches for dogs and extra toiletries if you needed them. We had such a lovely stay and would love to re book for next year. Such a lovely view to sit out and watch the world the go by.

    Their hospitality is outstanding. The lodge is fully equipped and beautifully arranged. We booked again for next year within hours of arriving. The position of the lodge is perfect with amazing views across the Clyde. We thoroughly enjoyed our week in the lodge and were blown away with the generosity and incredible attention to detail John and Elayne have lovingly invested in it. Can't wait to come back....

    such an amazing place, the lodge couldn't be any better, it was such a perfect holiday,we had amazing weather, the location couldn't be better very handy for the train and ferry station. Elayne and John go above and beyond with extra touches to make your arrival welcoming. I cannot recommend Bethany's retreat enough 10/10

  • "The lodge was really value for money, right on the edge of the Parkedean holiday resort so we were untroubled by other visitors and had great views of the sea."

    The property was light and airy with good decor and plenty of utensils and gadgets in the well stocked kitchen, It was also very close to the shops and the butchers sold great pies and had lovely cafe - we went on the recommendation of the owner and were not disappointed.

Bethany's Retreat is a charming holiday lodge in Wemyss Bay, Inverclyde.

The Lodge is in a quiet area of the park offering picturesque views across the Firth of Clyde to the Isle of Bute.

This wonderful lodge provides guests with scenic views, a host of on-site facilities and a lovely location away from the hustle and bustle of town life.

It provides off road parking for two cars and two wee behaved pets.

If you and your four-legged friends are seeking a tranquil retreat amidst the Scottish countryside, then look no further than Bethany's Retreat!

Inside your new abode, you will be greeted by a spacious open-plan area, thoughtfully designed to cater to all your needs.

The kitchen is fully equipped, ready for you to prepare your favourite meals, which can be enjoyed at the dining table.

Later on, head to the sitting area where you can snuggle up in front of the Smart TV for your favourite shows, enjoy your favourite film on the DVD player, or just stay toasty in front of the electric fire with a good book.

In the warmer months, go outside onto the decking, where you can enjoy a spot of alfresco dining using the barbecue or simply relax on the outdoor furniture, soaking up the tranquil surroundings.

The main bathroom is fitted with a bath and an overhead shower, basin, and WC, offering a choice of a quick rinse or a leisurely soak after a day of exploring.

Once the sun sets you can make your way to the bedrooms, each fitted with a TV for your entertainment.

Bethany's Retreat And Olivia's Haven

Bethany's Retreat and Olivia's Haven are a pairing of two wonderful, single-storey holiday lodges that are tucked away just shy of the coast in Wemyss Bay, Inverclyde. These properties offer guests pet-friendly accommodation, a host of on-site amenities as well as exceptional views of the surrounding landscape. Both of these lodges have a spacious, open-plan layout to create an easy flow between the main living spaces which will maximise convenience during your stay. In terms of exploring, the surrounding attractions are aplenty. Any golf enthusiasts won't be short of options, Skelmorlie Golf Club is one course to choose if you fancy a round coupled with stunning views or Gleddoch Country Golf and Spa a short 20 min drive away for a more upmarket experience with driving range. A quiet, picturesque coastal village, in the county of Inverclyde in Scotland, situated on the fringes of the beautiful Clyde Muirshiel Regional Park which boasts wonderful nature trails and stunning waterfalls. Wemyss bay is a delightfully quaint village in a wonderful location. The area has been a popular tourist destination since the nineteenth century due to its rail connections to the City of Glasgow, as well as the ferry routes to Rothesay and the Isle of Bute which still run today. In terms of amenities, you will find a small selection of shops, including award winning butcher McAskies with its attached bistro and deli. For a wider range of shops and restaurants, head to the seaside town of Largs just six miles south of Wemyss Bay and enjoy a sundae at the world famous Nardini’s Ice Cream Parlour. The town of Greenock is just seven miles north, offering the Oak Mall Shopping Centre, a stunning waterfront and various amusement arcades. Slightly further afield is the town of Port Glasgow and then beyond to the magnificent City of Glasgow with astounding architecture, Cathedral, theatres and elite shopping and dining.
