The property was absolutely amazing, The layout and finish to this property was really really excellent and well thought out. We really liked the nice touches like a bottle of prosseco chilled in the fridge to complimentary bath robes. They have thought about absolutely everything, kitted out with everything you could possibly need, like home from home. Thankyou so much Derek for a truly amazing break.

  • "We are home after a perfect holiday at the most amazing cottage."

The attention to detail by our hosts Janice and Derek was second to none. There was nothing at all I could fault the cottage with, it was well equipped, immaculately cleaned and comfortable after a day exploring the area. Janice and Derek awaited us arriving and gave us a tour of the cottage and how to work the hot tub ( which our granddaughter was paddling in while chatting to them). The hot tub itself was a fantastic bonus to the cottage as was the lovely bottle of bubbly left for us! It wasn’t needed but said any problems at all, not to hesitate to let them know. My husband did chat with Derek during the week about the area on a day I was a little unwell, and I must say even being unwell didn’t dampen my spirits about the cottage. The views from the cottage and garden were amazing, looking out over the bay and to the Isle of Man. One highlight of the week was the view of the Super Blue Moon. We are regular cottage users and I can hand on heart say this was the best cottage we have ever stayed in, and all 3 of us were sorry our week came to an end. We will definitely be booking again in either the cottage or the 2 beautiful new lodges also available. Many thanks Janice and Derek for such a wonderful welcoming holiday.

So we'll equipped and furnished ...the walk in shower was amazing with another en suite and a bathroom too if you need it. Janice and her son Cameron are so nice and on hand if you require anything. The Cock Inn, a short 10 minute walk away, was so welcoming and served some lovely food so be sure to book a table at least once. The friendliest of owners, the beautifully decorated furnishings, the hot tub and the views. I was saddened that my week R & R had ended. Such was the home and views, my husband and I found it hard to venture very far each day as we were so in awe of the beauty on our door step, we were lapping the opportunity to have some us time, with nice food and drink, the views and being away from the grindstone of work. This was certainly just what the doctors ordered as recovering from cancer, this holiday in Longforth Farm Cottage was impeccable. We also had the opportunity to see inside the two new additions of the log cabins and these we’re done to the very high standards. Would recommend this location and will definitely go back.

There is a log burning fire with logs and kindling provided. A large corner sofa and single chair. There are board games in the cupboard to play. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need including a dishwasher. The main bathroom has a bath with shower over it. There are also 2 en-suite shower rooms. The beds are comfortable and both bedrooms have lots of storage. The hot tub is amazing and takes this from being amazing to outstanding. Sitting outside in the hot tub with just the moonlight and sound of the sea in the nearby bay cannot be described.
