The Cardigan Bay area is a beautiful part of Wales and dolphin spotting in New Quay shouldn’t be missed. Looking forward to visiting Nanternis again.

Everything about Old Farmhouse Cottage was perfect!

The location was idyllic, set in the countryside overlooking the owner’s fields, and there was a walk from the house absolutely as described down to the secluded cove where we were the only ones there. In contrast, New Quay is only a few minutes drive away with its amenities and many eating places available and is a nice sea side town. Inside the cottage it was cosy and comfortable with everything you would need. As only a short break we didn’t use the oven, instead choosing to eat out, other than breakfast. Ann, the owner, was very friendly and helpful and left us nice cake! Very happy with all aspects. Thank you.

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful cottage.

It was such a peaceful and relaxing place and was a perfect base for exploring the surrounding area. There were so many great places within reach. The kids had a great time. Was lovely to read the framed display and see the photographs showing the history and restoration of the cottage ensuring its story isn't forgotten. We couldn't have asked for a better place to stay. If we are ever back in the area we would love to stay here again.

Welcoming host and good communications. Well appointed, tidy and clean. Very comfortable. Quick drive to New Quay. Glorious part of Wales, beautiful coastline and walks.

What a wonderful base from which we were able to see so many incredible places within a few miles.

The cottage is set in a lovely location, it has an interesting history to it, surrounded by nature. We will definitely book to go again not least of because our host is such a lovely person.

Beautiful accommodation, very comfortable and such a peaceful location

We had an excellent holiday at The Old Farm House, the property was spacious, comfortable, clean, tidy, well equipped and furnished and in a beautiful country location, yet only a short drive from the coast and beautiful seaside town of New Quay.

The enclosed garden was both private and ideal for our dogs to play and experience the farm environment. The owners who lived on the farm were welcoming, friendly, easily accessible if needed and also provided a very useful and helpful information folder for the accommodation. We plan to visit again for the perfect tranquil getaway.

Beautiful, peaceful cottage with lots to explore around and about.

A lovely walk to a beach not accessed via a road. Owners couldn’t have been more accommodating, there to help with any queries we had throughout our stay. A lovely little touch of fresh milk, eggs & homemade cake.

It is located in beautiful countryside just outside New Quay and well positioned to visit lots of other places around the area. The cottage itself is excellent, very comfortable, well equiped and with a sealed garden great for out two little shih tzu's. It also has a lovely log burner which Anne was kind enough to set up for us when we were out. Anne greeted us on arrival and made us very welcome throughout our stay . The welcome pack of eggs, home made cake and milk was very much appreciated. We would love to go back.
