Very disappointed, we were 3 adult ladies, so needed 3 separate bedrooms.

The main room was really good but the double and single room lacked facilities i.e no working bedside lamp. Bed linen not ironed, no pillow case on one of the pillows. We found the linen cupboard where the towels and bedding appeared to be chucked in! On our last morning where we were due to leave before 11.30am, the boiler service man arrived around 9.30am, we weren't dressed, I was sat on the loo, when he walked in and we had received no communication from the owner!. The washing machine was rusty and unclean and definitely needs a lick of paint in areas. The garden was also very overgrown. Even though the location was ideal and quiet, we won't be returning to this property.

We spent an enjoyable week at this spacious, comfortable and homely terraced house within easy walking distance of the canal, city wall and city centre.

More of a walk from the train station so with heavy cases we took a taxi. (The taxi fare from the train station was under £6). There were some teething problems when we first arrived (broken blind, damp towels) which were quickly addressed by the owner. The steep stairs were a bit of a problem so maybe the owner could consider adding another bannister rail?

Lovely comfortable, well appointed wee house with easy access to the city via the city walls or the canal.

Also a short walk to Tesco or Aldi. Nice garden to relax in after a day out. Owner was most helpful. Chester is a great City to visit with great shopping and amenities. Liverpool and Cheshire Oaks are easily reached from there.
