Well House Farm Flat 2

Lovely comfortable flat with everything we needed for a short break.

It was a nice touch to find milk and biscuits waiting for us on our arrival. Having free parking was an important factor as well. The location was very relaxing and ideal for us being very close to Broughton retail park which had a good variety of eating places, food shops, Boots, a cinema and many other shops. It was also not too far from Broughton park and ride to get into Chester and explore that lovely city stress free. We will definitely return if we are back in the area.

Property was very well equipped with everything we needed, and more.

Bedding and towels were of a very high quality and smelt divine. Everything was spotlessly clean. Property was as described and perfectly located for exploring Chester and North Wales.

We stayed (1 adult and 2 children) for a 6 night stay.

The property was easy to find and helpful instructions were given ahead of arriving. The property was ready before check in which we were told about. The property contained everything we needed (well equipped kitchen, comfy beds, WiFi, tv, selection of toys/games etc.). There was a little noise heard from the downstairs flat, and in turn we tried to be as quiet as we could to not disturb our neighbours. We would certainly look to book here again if visiting the area.

The property was in a great location for our visit to Saltney.

Quietly positioned, it was also close to the out of town stores and easy to reach from the A55. Checking in was easy using the lock box and Sykes kept us up to date and well informed. The galley kitchen had all we required and the heating kept us warm on a cold, windy weekend. The lounge was a comfortable place to spend the evening with a good television linked to the strong internet signal. The twin bedroom was fine and would be suitable for children. Our friend said the main double was very comfortable. However, the stairs up to the flat would not be suitable for someone with serious mobility issues. All in all, this was a great value property we would stay at again.

It had everything we could need, the kitchen was well equipped and the rooms are well furnished. Was great for us ( 1adult 2 children) and the location was ideal.

Great base for exploring the region, including easy access to trains via Chester if you want to go to Liverpool etc. The flat was really lovely. Quiet, perfectly appointed and had everything we need. All contact with Margaret was really easy, and she kindly send back my kids' onesies when I accidentally left them in one of the drawers. Can't recommend highly enough.

The only thing we would say is that there are NO cupboards in the kitchen to store food items.

Everything else was provided and the kitchen was very well equiped but no where to store cereals, T bags, coffee, biscuits dry goods etc. A cupboard could be mounted on the wall where the waste bins were. Also on the approach road to the cottage we were told to look out for a blue sign that said Well House Farms. This is on the fence facing the road, it wasn't until we passed the turn off that I looked back and saw the signs so had to double back further down the road. There should be signs on both sides of the lane depending on which direction you approach the lane. They could be with being bigger also! Other than that we were very pleased to the cottage which was spotlessly clean and had all the facilities. It was a nice quiet location and would highly recommend it.

Everything you need including welcome hamper. Very clean. Great sized rooms with plenty of storage. Beds are very low and mattresses very thin. Communication excellent , text message confirming readiness of property. Will return.

A really lovely place to stay, a very clean, comfortable flat where everything has been thought of. Good location for exploring Chester and beyond. The hamper was a very welcome addition, Thank you.

The flat is upstairs and anyone with mobility issues would struggle due to the number of steps, and the very low beds, which are almost fouton height.

The flat is clean and well equiped. It is ideally situated for touring. It is next to airbus works and a small airport. There was some noise but not much during our stay. We noticed that small print after booking. It was less of a problem than the beds for us. There is parking outside on gravel. On the whole it is good value and clean. Ideal for two adults and 2 small kids, but for 4 adults it would be perhaps tight in the living area, especially for meals at the table. Ideal however for a couple and young child. Liked the small balcony area and table. On a warm day it would have been nice to sit there. Good access from this place to shops, and other places, but a car is essential. Did not see any buses. Nice stay for 1 week.

Apartment not quite big enough for 4 adults.

Lounge area very small with 1 settee and a hard chair . Beds were cheap and most uncomfortable (mattresses about 2” thick). Ended up stacking 1 on top of the other and my husband slept on the settee. No cupboard space for storing any food.

This is a great base for exploring North Wales, Snowdonia, Liverpool & Chester many activities in easy reach.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Only downside was family downstairs were noisy and someone snored extremely loudly all night, which disrupted our sleep

This was a great base to explore Chester and North Wales.

There was a lovely hamper with tea,coffee,cookies and welsh cakes waiting for us on arrival. The beds are a.personal preference in comfort.

The flat was very comfortable and in a great location for lots of places to visit.

It is also very close to shops, and a great fish and chip shop. We had a lovely week and would highly recommend it for comfort and location.

Only booked for 2 to stay and 2nd bedroom made up, which we had to strip and put in laundry bag.

Save the environment. Everything was as stated, welcome pack and milk in fridge lovely and thoughtful. Perfect location for Liverpool and North Wales.

Modern, clean, well thought out accommodation.

Welcome pack, milk, tea, coffee, biscuits, Welsh cakes, even flowers. Easy to find, well connected to get to places. We had a wonderful time with our 2 young children. Plan to visit next year with family who will book the flat downstairs.

Accommodation was immaculate and hosts had left some really thoughtful touches-tea/coffee and welsh cakes and a box of craft activities for the kids!

Location is great too-lots to see and do in easy distance and supermarket on your door step for essentials. Definitely recommend and hope to book again.

Great location, very peaceful and quiet.

Helpful owners, who are there if you need them. Lots of facilities I didn't expect like hairdryer and tumble dryer. I stayed for 28 days and really enjoyed it.

The cottage had everything we needed for a comfortable stay, the owners had put in extra measures for Covid 19, lovely big bathroom, kitchen had all equipment needed plus a welcome hamper.

Good location, near enough for a taxi into Chester for a night out plus not too far to North Wales tourist areas .

The only thing we would say is that not being to have a stand up shower was awkward, I didn’t notice this when we booked but it does state this in the information.
