The Warren

We had 2 nights at the Warren because we wanted to go to Chester Zoo.

The directions were great, the bungalow was comfortable. The garden was lovely and secure for my granddaughter to play in. We found out it was only 10 minutes from the zoo, result. We would stay here again, if we needed a base for Chester. Thank you for letting us use your home.

The Warren is like home from home, providing everything you need.

With a lovely secure garden for grandchildren, and our same dog to enjoy .An added bonus was parking comfortably for two cars. The welcome pack was very well received by our grandchildren and a lovely touch . Would definitely recommend and would stay again .

Jayne was most helpful with a little TV problem, came around and fixed it very friendly and a pleasure to meet, nice sized property and within range of all we wanted to do and see.

Lovely bungalow, in a nice area just a short drive to the town centre.

Properly spotlessly clean, well maintained and very comfortable. Owner very welcoming with before and after messages. Would certainly stay again, if in the area, and would not hesitate to recommend the property.

Located in a quiet side street. Clean property with good-sized rooms. Nice back garden patio area with multiple access points. Two parks 10 min walk away, ideal for dog walks. Tesco Express and chippy about 15 min walk away. Could do with more mirrors in rooms and if thinking of extending further, an ensuite would be useful. Decent kitchen though needs a new kettle. Nice touch with welcome pack.

The Warren was immaculate and so well equiped with everything you could think of, its location was superb with easy access to the town, no need for the bus.

At night it was so quiet and all beds were really comfortable. The rear garden was private and the perfect size. The hosts have thought of everything and I would definitely stay there again.

This was our first time staying in a bungalow with a small old dog.

it was ideal with plenty of doors out to the enclosed back garden for toilet visits. Sadly the weather didn't allow us to sit out in the garden but everywhere is well maintained. The bungalow was in a nice quiet area with easy access to the bus stop to the city centre just down the road. I would certainly choose this property again if we come back to Chester in the future.

The Warren is a very well maintained home, everything has been well thought out and provided for, and was so nice to come in to the house and be greeted by a lovely welcoming hamper!

Everything you need to know about the house and surrounding area, is listed in a handy booklet. Found the whole place, was very clean and tidy, with the twin beds in the spare room, provided as requested, thanks for making are stay very satisfying... The only downside the the house was there is only one bathroom, and felt that the utility room out the back, could be easily converted into a bathroom, making the back bedroom into an ensuite...

Lovely welcome box left by the owner full of biscuits and coffee. Jayne also gave us recommendations for local restaurants - Made in Italy was fab! Will definitely be back.

We had a fantastic stay at The Warren.

Location is excellent for the zoo and Chester centre. Very quiet and peaceful area. Property was a real home from home. Our son has profound learning disabilities and the property was perfect for our needs. The host Jayne is by far the best host we have ever encountered. Great communication and so kind and thoughtful throughout our stay. The little extras were a real bonus like the welcome pack, toys, games and gifts. Thank you Jayne for making our little break so special. This will be our go to property for future trips to the zoo and friends.

We had a great stay at the Warren.

The owner, Jayne, sent us us clear directions and there were many welcoming,hospitable touches. Toys for our 5 year-old were much appreciated and enjoyed by the whole family. The house was clean, spacious and well equipped. The garden was safe and enclosed , as described, for our dog, Rowan, and perfect for an Easter-egg hunt too! it was an ideal base for us to visit other family members locally and we would be delighted to stay again.

The Warren was a warm, comfortable well set out and all round lovely place to stay.

Exceptional toys for the children with us. Superb hosts. A must to stay when visiting Chester.

Really enjoyed our stay at the warren.

The little details were all really appreciated. My children loved all the games, dvds and tpys especially bingo! The property is spacious and plenty of seating as well as all the utensils you could need in the kitchen! Washing machine was a bonus after a muddy day out! We would stay again, thank you Jayne!

Home from home.

Clean comfortable and well equipped. Fabulous welcome pack. Situated in a quiet street but just 6 minutes drive from Chester zoo and 10 minutes from Cheshire oaks, 25 minute walk to the city centre. Would highly recommend.

Tucked away on a housing estate a comfortable and warm bungalow.

Handy for attractions such as zoo and aquarium and Chester itself. We used the local bus from the end of the street, free for pensioners, be aware the park and ride from the Zoo is not free. The property was well equipped and we had a nice welcome pack too. Owners were very friendly and attentive via email. We would certainly consider this place again if we return to Chester and would not hesitate to recommend it to anyone else.

The Warren is a comfortable bungalow in which to spend time while enjoying Chester and its surroundings.

Three good sized bedrooms and all facilities we could need for our stay. The garden was secure to keep our dog in and the area in general is a quiet residential area. There is a park not too far away to walk to and local shops are not far away. All communication was timely and informative. Would stay again if in the area.
