  • "It was lovely thank you."

The only issue I had was there was no shower facilities upstairs. One could be installed over bath. Other than that we had a wonderful stay

  • "Beautiful home fab location to beach ,shops etc within easy driving distance to some Beautiful places to visit."

House had everything you could wish for , very clean and presented beautifully. Just a couple of things could do with an upgrade on bathrooms and kitchen ceiling above cooker hood not nice to look at when you are cooking. My family and I had a lovely time and will booked again for 2028. Super neighbours..

  • "6 adults and 4 children for a one week booking in May 2026 - the location: half a mile from the beach and central to our favourite places in North Wales was very important."

First impressions were of a well decorated and furnished place but this was tempered by a significant amount of rubbish, and a full waste bin in the small rear yard- once raised this took 3 days to remove although the overflowing bin was left. With a 4 weekly waste collection this needs to be picked up by the Landlord as the house is likely to have 10 occupants per week not a small family like neighbouring properties. We then found that only one of the bathrooms had a shower - this made getting 10 people ready in a morning longer than usual - this was made worse when water from the 2nd floor bathroom came through the ceiling into the kitchen. This repair also took until the 3rd day after reporting to resolve - communication with the Landlord had to be pushed constantly to understand the progress of the repair. Despite the excellent decoration and furnishing we had a couple of niggles - there is only a dustpan and hand brush and mop in the property, no hoover. Also a single tea towel for drying the dishes of 10 people was not enough. No welcome pack of any kind despite the amount of attractions in the local area - this should be addressed for future visitors. We were warmly welcomed by neighbours, despite bringing 3 vehicles, and were grateful for local guidance and help with recycling etc. With a couple of improvements this could be a very good property indeed - only minor improvements as well. The issues we faced, the time taken to respond, the lack of resolution to the waste left from the previous tenant and poor comms help justify the review score - I can see the potential in the property though.

  • "We had a lovely stay at Canning Lodge."

Excellent location, close to a safe, sandy beach and in easy reach of other North Wales attractions. Very suitable for a family gathering - clean, very comfortable, tastefully furnished and a well-equipped kitchen. Pleasant and helpful owner.

  • "Lovely house in a great location."

The house is large with great communal space but also beautiful bedrooms to retreat too. Well decorated, squishy beds and carpets, kitchen stocked well - everything you need for a great stay. A couple of DIY finishes would improve this place further and a 2nd shower. Close to the beach and shops. Warm, snug but roomy and it welcomed a family easily for a get together. We cooked, played, walked the dog on the beach, visited attractions and shopped. We came home very happy. All the family want to definitely book again. Thanks for sharing your place and to the lovely neighbours who were very welcoming and helpful.
