    We spent most evenings in the beautiful garden, enjoying the hot tub and having a BBQ. local pub is a 5 min walk and i highly recommend the food there.

    Garden and house very well maintained, and someone at the end of a phone for any queries. Great bbq/outdoor dining area, under cover, as was the hot tub. Easy access from the village to shops, beaches and places to visit. Local pub very welcoming and served excellent food.

    The kitchen had everything you need and more. The hot tub was great and the garden huge and well maintained. Probably the cleanest property we have stayed in, and we've stayed in a few. Nice pub with good food a few minutes walk down the road. The location of the cottage is perfect to explore as most places are within 20-30 mins drive away. The beach in Hayle is beautiful. The owner and property manager were so welcoming and couldn't do enough for us. We would definitely stay again.

    hayle itself is in need of an update but the beaches are superb 3 miles of lovely sandy beach and almost empty overall this is an ideal location to stay and visit the surrounding area or just chill out

  • "Had a great week at Angarrack Farmhouse."

    This is a traditional comfortable accommodation with everything you could need. Wi-fi was fine for daughter who had to work a couple of days and the modern TV was great to watch the Euros (football) with Father-in-law. Outside, hot tub and bbq area is great to relax. The village is lovely and has a pub with great food only a few minutes walk away. The local beach in Hayle is beautiful and only 5-10 minutes drive (traffic allowing). The housekeeper was also on hand and helpful if required. Would definitely recommend.

  • "Beautiful and comfortable house."

    Has everything you need and more, the large garden and out side area is well maintained. Good location . The coastal train is a 10 minute drive from house would highly recommend this for any trips to st ives to save on stress of trying to park in a very busy town.

    The garden area was brilliant for time as a family playing games when the weather was nice. All of us were very happy with the property and facilities. We would highly recommend Angarrack Farmhouse and would even stay here again ourselves. The property manager was very helpful with everything and was available for any questions we had once we had arrived at the property and was getting settled in.

  • "What a fantastic place to stay."

    The cottage is incredibly well stocked with everything you could wish for. Extremely spacious and comfy with a great size garden and bbq /hot tub area. The location is quiet but with in easy reach of St Ives, Sennen Cove Carbis bay etc. Great location for shops too. Can’t recommend this place enough. Would definitely go back.

  • "Amazing!! Had everything we needed and more"

    ! The cottage was so well stocked with essentials, garden was lovely, all the rooms were great sizes. Plenty of games/sky/children’s toys couldn’t ask for more from a holiday! Location was good as well, we travelled to St Ives, Marizon, Newquay, Falmouth and other places. Plenty of supermarkets nearby as well and great pub within walking distance! Would happily stay again!

  • "This was possibly the most extensively equipped holiday property we’ve ever stayed in."

    Certainly there was everything you could need in the kitchen including dishwasher tablets, tin foil, kitchen paper...everything. A great range of games, books, dvd’s and sky TV plus wine and fresh flowers. Our communication with the housekeepers was friendly and helpful (thank you Lou and Nick). It’s a shame that there aren’t enough sun-loungers (we found two old rusty ones under the bbq) as the weather was fantastic and it would have been nice to lie out in the garden. We would have no hesitation in recommending this property for a holiday.

The property

Nestled in the peaceful village of Angarrack, close to the glorious beaches of Hayle and Gwithian, this beautiful, rendered farmhouse sits in pretty gardens.

Wonderfully homely, guests are made to feel immediately welcome; stepping through the front door into the charming dining room will feel like you have come to a true home-from-home.

In the lounge, squashy leather sofas huddle round a cosy open fire and there is a selection of books to choose from.

The country kitchen is well-equipped with everything you could need for preparing hearty family meals.

A family bathroom is located on the ground floor, and upstairs, there is a gleaming new shower room as well as four restful bedrooms.

Accessed via a laundry room in the cellar, the sheltered farmhouse garden is a fabulous asset!

The large lawn provides a lovely, safe space for children to play, whilst the impressive sun deck with private hot tub and fitted gas barbecue offers a fantastic place to enjoy long summer evenings together.

The village of Angarrack has a friendly community and traditional country inn, and is just a short drive from the long golden beaches and grassy sand dunes of Hayle, Godrevy and Gwithian.

Popular with surfers and families alike, the beaches offer plenty of space for everyone and are worth a visit whatever time of the year you visit.

The nearby town of Hayle is home to a number of shops, pubs and restaurants, as well as an RSPB reserve and the family-friendly Paradise Park bird and wildlife sanctuary with its wonderful indoor soft play centre.

About the location

HAYLE

St Ives 7 miles; Penzance 7.5 miles.

Hayle is in the far-flung south western corner of Cornwall and sits on an important RSPB wildlife estuary flowing out to the beautiful St Ives Bay, where visitors can enjoy three miles of golden sandy beaches, walks, history and wildlife. Hayle has plenty of activities out of the water too; Paradise Park is a wildlife park, home to some spectacular parrots, otters and red pandas. Hayle has a range of shops, restaurants and bars scattered around the estuary and harbour area. There are skittles and karting for the family, and for golfers, one of the best links golf courses in Cornwall is at Lelant, a mile out of Hayle. But the jewel of Hayle is the three miles of golden sandy beach, with fantastic surfing at Gwithian where there is a surf shop, lessons and hire of equipment. For the less energetic there are beach cafes where you can take in the views and watch the children play. As Hayle is centrally located you can easily access many other places by either public transport (there is a train station at Hayle) or driving. St. Ives is a short drive away where you can wander through the narrow streets, visit the art galleries or admire the colourful sub tropical gardens. St Ives harbour has its own small fishing fleet and there are plentiful boat trips skippered by locals keen to showcase the best that Cornwall has to offer, whether it be seal watching at Seal Island, a couple of hours' mackerel fishing or a relaxing trip to Godrevy Lighthouse. Within easy reach of Hayle is the Minack Theatre (35 mins), Falmouth Maritime Museum (40 mins), Eden Project (40 mins), St. Michael’s Mount (15 mins) and many other fantastic tourist attractions for dry or wet days.
