  • "I spent all my childhood summers in the flat above which my family used to own so I knew exactly what to expect re location, floor plan etc."

However the apartment surpassed my expectations in terms of the thought, care and expense that have gone into the renovation and the high standard of the finish. We absolutely loved it !!! Purely for feedback I did note a few very small points which I thought I would mention. The pans (specifically the 2 saute pans) are not fit for purpose as every time you fry anything it sticks to the pan straight away. You have a drawer in the kitchen which contains 10 (yes 10 !!) colanders; at most guests might need 2. You’re chopping boards are tiny, completely useless for most of the family cooking we were doing (I bought one from Amazon for the stay in the end). You have plenty of space in the kitchen; why not provide a coffee machine, we had to buy one while we there as we all wanted coffees before the cafes opened. Why not include an air fryer too; so many homes now use them instead of ovens, especially younger generations? The window blinds can easily get caught, the living room was broken when we arrived but we fixed it and one of the bedroom ones also caught while we’re there and we fixed it but it wasn’t easy. We never worked out how to set the individual room temperatures on the panels (seemed like it was being overruled by a central system). We didn’t like the pillows. The fridge door doesn’t close unless you really push it deliberately - so many times we ended up leaving fridge open inadvertently. The cruet set was empty; surely you could fill the salt & pepper for guests ? There was a smell of drains in the utility/pantry room - we had to buy an Air freshener. Maybe the welcome / info folder could have been a little more extensive (no instructions re heating, no checkout instructions, no info about the fact that you could park in Reppers Coombe for £6 per week using the app etc). Honestly though these are all Small points and I only mention them because if I were the owner and renting the property out, I would want to know. Overall we found the property to be excellent. Little things like convenient sockets everywhere you look including USB charging sockets, one of the best showers I’ve ever had in a rental property, excellent hob and oven and top notch utility room amenities. Underfloor heating was really appreciated. Beds were comfortable apart from pillows and linen was a good quality. We love the fact that you put a window in the wall facing the car park in order to give a proper Sea View. We loved the option of the outdoor shower. Definitely a high 9 out of 10 !!
