  • "Was so impressed with this property."

Everything was as described. The location was great. The property was spotless and equipped as you would expect a holiday cottage. We loved our stay here and thank you so much for our beautiful cream tea!

  • "Fantastic holiday home!"

The location is perfect for a trip to the beach. We have never stayed in a property that was so clean. We were greeted with Easter eggs and freshly made scones too which was a wonderful surprise which the kids loved. If I were to make any recommendations to improve further it would be, a bigger tv, coat hooks and some more pots and cutlery. We would definitely stay again, wonderful hosts, thank you ☺️

  • "Wonderful barn conversion holiday cottage in a beautiful location, in my favourite part of Cornwall."

The property was perfect, extremely clean, and with wonderful views out over the fields towards the sea. Location is amazing, very close to the beaches and coastal paths in this stunning part of Cornwall. Within easy reach of St Ives, Penzance etc. As we spent the majority of the day out exploring, we mostly self catered - the property was ideal for this. The weather was fab too, which meant eating outside on the lovely private West facing patio most nights.Owners we’re lovely and very unobtrusive, and very accommodating with our family party of 4 arriving over different days. Excellent value for money too, and would love to stay again in the future.

  • "Generally everything lovely, immaculately clean and cream tea on arrival very much appreciated!"

. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The following minor extras would have made it even better: 1. A large chopping board in kitchen aswell as the small one already provided 2.Hooks on back of doors to hang items such as coats or clothes in bedrooms and bathroom 3. Repositon settees in relation to TV so more comfortable 4. Anti slip backing to rug in lounge Thank you.

Loved the patio and views over the countryside. A perfect place for a getaway holiday. If I could improve the accommodation at all it would be to upgrade the mattresses which were quite uncomfortable - not to the same great standard as the rest of the cottage. Otherwise perfect!

It is super clean, very pretty and comfortable. The view over the hills is so lovely, we really enjoyed eating breakfast on the terrace, even on the days it was a bit drizzly - the view was so compelling. The interior of the cottage is bright and colourful and really had everything we needed. We’re booking again for next year.

About the location

SENNEN

Land’s End 1 mile; St Just 5 miles; Penzance 9 miles.

The most westerly village in mainland Britain, Sennen has a lovely mile-long beach of pure white sand and is a very popular holiday destination. With excellent surfing conditions, the village has its own surf school – overlooked by a super-cool beach bar/restaurant with floor-to-ceiling windows which make the most of the wonderful views. Once a hub of smuggling activity, Sennen still retains many secret passages – one of which is said to lead to the covered well in the Old Success Inn. Largely unchanged over time, this lovely village has a timeless appeal and is home to a gallery, a medieval church, an Iron Age fort and a small selection of shops where you can buy beachware, gifts and souvenirs, and a range of groceries. There is also a weekly Farmers’ Market in the village Community Centre each Tuesday morning. During the summer, the beach bar becomes a hub of activity and entertainment, with live music, weekly barbecues and popular surfing competitions.
