    Nice hot tub and the garden is lovely, its also enclosed so perfect for our dog. The house itself is lovely and felt really comfortable, the location is ideal for attractions and beaches. Would highly recommend.

  • "Just returned from a fantastic mini break."

    Everything we could have asked for from a holiday home with our 2 dogs. Excellent facilities, very comfortable, fully enclosed garden, stylish decor and great Location for us exploring Cornwall, we loved coming home to the house after long days out exploring to the hot-tub and all the home comforts of the house. The hosts were amazing too and helped us with a lot of recommendations in the local area with food and places of interest. Highly recommended !!

  • "We had an absolutely fantastic stay at Poldam."

    It’s a home from home. Every detail has been carefully considered with a warm welcome given to us all including our dog. The hot tub is a great addition and there’s a bonus sea view from the garden too. Its location is really handy - lots of local beaches nearby and only 30 minutes away from beaches on the other side of Cornwall. We’d highly recommend a stay here.

  • "Lovely spotlessly clean new rental property."

    Quality fixtures and fittings, with comfy beds and a great shower. Fully enclosed dog friendly garden, with super hot tub. Great welcome pack for us and especially our dog. Location was great for exploring Cornwall, being close to a main road but this did make it quite noisy especially being on the edge of large housing estate. Maybe worth thinking about getting a BBQ or a stand as there wasn't really anywhere to put a disposable one. Also the hot tub could do with some sort of cover as directly under trees, so had to battle leaves & bugs. The friendly owners live next door and are there if you need them, but will just let you enjoy your holiday. Definitely recommend .

  • "This place is a real credit to the owners."

    On first entering you can tell it’s well looked after, it’s stocked with everything you need from tea coffee sugar , cleaning products. The furniture is comfortable, also the bed in the large bedroom. The hot tub fantastic, the week we went we had wall to wall sunshine so we could enjoy the outside facility’s. We’ve paid a lot more at other places we’ve stayed at and they don’t come close to this. My wife and I will be returning at some stage. P.S it’s the little things that make a place and this has it.   • "If I had to rate this cottage I would give it 5 stars all round - welcoming, cleanliness, location."

    The description and the fact that the garden was perfect for our dog. We loved the hot tub and thought the place was so good that as soon as I got home I booked another visit straight away. The best bit for us was the welcoming pack for the dog. The owners, who live next door even helped us out with a car issue too, on Easter Sunday! We can’t wait to return.

  • "Outstanding!"

    My wife and I spent a fabulous week in Poldam, a relatively new build, detached house on the eastern edge of St Austell. We could not fault the accommodation, from the welcome tea, milk and bisquits when we arrived to the fact we wished we could have stayed longer at the end. Polly and Adam have covered every base in this property. Superbly comfy beds, plenty of instant hot water, a self- controlled and very effective heating system for the cooler months, brilliant kitchen equipment and utensils. There are also nice touches like games and books for children and modern novels for adults. Can't comment on the hot tub as we didn't use it, but it looks brand new and I'm sure it's delightful. All in all, a fabulous week and I can thoroughly recommend Poldam. Thank you Polly and Adam! James and Chris.
