Bosistow Farmhouse

Lovely property and location.

Main sitting rooms sofa’s smelt of dog and was sticky in place's as some dog owners allowing their dogs on the furnishings . Kitchen well equipped, Bed was comfortable. Electric fans would have been helpful as it got very hot on our visit.

We have just come back from a week at Bosistow Farmhouse staying with my daughters and partners.

We loved the house and the location is just fabulous. Just a magical place with stunning coastal walks direct from the door in all directions. Walking to Nanjizal beach in just fifteen minutes was a special treat. I also loved all the swallows, choughs and rare birds I saw due to careful conservation on the estate in conjunction with the RSPB. The house was cosy, comfortable, clean and well equipped as well as being tastefully decorated and furnished. My partner and I will definitely return to the St Aubyn Estate and my daughters and their partners loved it too. Definitely worth the long trip down.

This property provided a great base to explore this remote and beautiful area.

The house has been well modernized making a comfortable home away from home. As with any older building there are several patches where plaster work needs repair but this didn't affect our enjoyment. Instructions were missing for the induction hob but excellent WiFi allowed us to download what we needed. We valued the EV charger but a simpler guide to this particular device would have been helpful. Again the Internet provided what we needed. All in all a great place for three families to come together for a week.

No lock on the gate for the enclosed garden, to keep the dog in.

Otherwise, really enjoyed our stay, great place, great location and will stay there again anytime.

We managed to cram in visits to our usual haunts. all as beautiful as ever.

Beautiful, older property with everything we needed.

Was spotlessly clean on arrival. Amazing views, wonderful walks and stunning beaches. Plus the most generous, kind welcome basket we have ever received. We will definitely be back.

Poor maintenance, cleaning was less than desirable, bedding had hairs on it.

The radiators were turned off, had to get heating engineer out to rebalance the complete system. That meant that for four nights three of the bedrooms were too cold to use. The hoover bag was over full and useless. The dryer hadnt been cleaned for weeks/months. Staff did come out on Saturday and made a good effort to put things right. We hadnt been to this property for 20 years or so, poor maintenance was the reason we stopped using St Aubyns many years ago.

First time here, great time had by all!

Wow wow wow!

We have been visiting Cornwall for years & years, since I was a child and I have to say this is probably my favourite cottage I've ever stayed in. The most wonderful views, amazing location and such dreamy walks down to the cove. The cottage is fully equipped with everything we needed and was honestly the perfect family stay. Thank you so much and we hope to come again in the future.

We have loved staying in this lovely old house making memories. Our son and partner visiting from Canada were blown away with the house, views, walks & of course Nanjizal. Plenty of room for us all and a well stocked kitchen was a dream to cook in. Dougie our dog loved all the walks and I'm sure he will miss the smell of all the rabbits. We have seen seals, coughs and enjoyed watching the ships sail by.
