  • "Foxglove cottage is gorgeous!"

    The owners are really helpful and friendly. Everything is provided to ensure visitors have an enjoyable stay! Garden space is fantastic and well laid out. Beds extremely comfortable. Welcome pack is a thoughtful touch for when you arrive late and fancy a brew!! Cottage is clean, and very cosy you will not be disappointed if you book foxglove cottage! Great for dogs too! We are very happy customers, having a lovely base makes the holiday 100 times better!!

  • "We have never stayed in a holiday home as well equipped as the Foxglove Cottage."

    It was furthermore very cozy, clean and beautifully decorated. With the terrace and the large green behind as well as the beautiful inside of the cottage you could easily enjoy yourself and feel like home! The Pendra Loweth is also a beautiful holiday “resort” - with nice plants and flowers all along the streets and a nice restaurant. And we especially liked the two tennis courts, accessible only for the guests. Really recommend this place 100%!!!

  • "We felt very comfortable; the house is furnished with great attention to detail."

    It was very clean. The kitchen and terrace are well-equipped; nothing is missing. I particularly appreciated the tranquility of the property. The gardens are beautifully landscaped. We were very pleased with the welcome, coffee/tea, wine/beer, and even milk in the fridge. Upon request, Rich immediately offered tips for dog beaches. Even though we didn't get a chance to try them out, I thought it was very nice. The only thing I would like to mention here as a suggestion are the duvets, which were too thick for our taste for the summer. We had a wonderful time in Foxglove and Cornwall and will definitely come back.

  • "My wife described Foxglove cottage as a quintessential country cottage."

    The only slight snag we had was on arrival the key safe did not work but a call to Rich and the problem was resolved in minutes. But we would still give the cottage a 10 out of 10 and would not hesitate to stay here again.

  • "The property was perfect for our stay."

    The kitchen is well equipped with no need to "bring your own" of anything. Beds were comfortable and good sizes. The outside area has comfortable seating and a parasol is provided. We picked our daughter up from uni and used the launderette but not the dryers as the weather allowed for air drying. We would recommend the property to others and stay again ourselves.

  • "We had a great time at this cottage it was brilliant."

    On arrival we had cornish cookies and fresh milk in the fridge which came in handy after a 4 hour journey! The cottage was pristine. We received a welcome text from the owners which was reassuring if we needed anything. Everything was high quality in the cottage from the bedding and towels to the kitchen utensils. Would definitely recommend and return.

  • "Returning guest to Pendra Loweth site, having stayed well over 30 times in the last 20 years."

    First time, though, in Foxglove Cottage. Foxglove was presented to an exceptionally high standard, compared to some of the other cottages we have used on the Pendra site in the past. Foxglove is in a perfect quieter location on the site. Only chose Foxglove this time as our previous usual choice of cottage on the site was not available. Rich and Gill we have thoroughly enjoyed your cottage - have already booked for next year!

  • "The cottage was lovely, just what we needed for a family of 4 for a week in Cornwall."

    The grounds the cottage was in were lovely, it was nice having a little bar/ restaurant/ shop etc on site. I didn’t realise that the cottage was in a holiday village, maybe something worth calling out in the details. This wasn’t an issue though as it was a lovely place to be, very convenient for Falmouth and getting around Cornwall. I’d say not many places in walking distance with small children though.

  • "I have had a lovely week with my mum and little dog staying in Foxglove Cottage."

    When we arrived we were pleasantly surprised at the layout of the village. The cottage was beautiful inside and out. The decor and furnishings were designed to such a high standard - like walking into a show home. It was equipped with everything you could think of. The little garden was south facing so when the sun did come out we had a little sun trap! The cottage was spotlessly clean and we were so very lucky to have found this little gem. We would definately book Foxglove Cottage again and can 100% recommend it.

  • "Beautiful apartment, great size everything you could want there and clean as a whistle."

    Ideal for exploring the stunning South West corner of England. Do need a car to get the most from the stay but only a short drive to Swanpool beach and an easy walk from there right along stunning Falmouth beaches area. Asda big supermarket also easy reach for any shopping. Delightful village surrounding the apartment set in woodland with a river. Owners very helpful and friendly. Perfect for us, hope to return.

The property

Overlooking beautiful communal gardens to the rear and front, Foxglove Cottage is conveniently situated on the Pendra Loweth complex on the edge of Falmouth, Cornwall.

Set in attractive grounds displaying flora and woodlands of oak trees, the Village of Gardens promises a prime position close to Falmouth's beautiful beaches and resort attractions, perfect for a family getaway.

From Maenporth or Swanpool beach, ramble the South West Coastal Path to glorious Gyllyngvase Beach for a seaside picnic.

This beautifully styled, end terrace house boasts stylish accommodation throughout.

French windows from the sitting room open to a delightful private south facing terrace with picnic table for alfresco dining appreciating an evening sun downer.

The well-equipped kitchen has ample working space and the dining area which has a table and chairs to seat four.

Upstairs are two furnished bedrooms together with a family bathroom.

There is allocated parking for one car plus visitor parking.

You will find Foxglove Cottage on the south side of the Village, set close to the stream which runs the length of the grounds.

the patio and communal garden is south facing, ideal for afternoon sun.

The sound of the shallow stream as it winds its way through the village toward the cove will ease you into your holiday.

Just a short walk away are the village amenities including the restaurant, bar, pool table, indoor splash pool and gym.

Benefiting from the afternoon sun, the village terrace is a great place to relax and enjoy refreshments as you think about the holiday itinerary.

The Village of Gardens is situated between Maenporth and Swanpool beaches.

Swanpool has a popular café and beach whilst Maenporth is perhaps a little more relaxed but equally as special; both offer fantastic restaurants and sandy shores so you really are spoilt for choice.

Falmouth and St.Mawes by the Falmouth ferry are perhaps the quintessential Cornish visitor destinations; a mix of beach, creek and woodland serve some of our most interesting and historic villages and towns.

Falmouth itself is home to the National Maritime Museum, visitors will enjoy an amble through the narrow streets and possibly a boat trip across the River Fal or up the Truro River.

If you fancy a walk, the coastal footpath is a short walk from Foxglove, leading to stunning scenery, beaches, landscapes and sea views.

FALMOUTH

Penryn 2 miles; Mabe 3 miles; Truro 11 miles.

Falmouth, with its magnificent natural harbour (the third largest in the world), winding streets and beaches, will keep you occupied for hours. The town's old harbour-side pubs, excellent shopping, art gallery and stunning National Maritime Museum simply complete the picture. Pendennis Castle, built by Henry VIII, is Falmouth's most popular attraction, sited on its own peninsula with superb panoramic sea views. Across from Falmouth harbour is the beautiful town of St Mawes, surrounded by the rocky coves, sandy beaches and lush green countryside of the Roseland Peninsula. Go there by car (15 miles) or take the passenger ferry from Falmouth (15 minutes). For nature lovers there is the Swanpool Nature Reserve, a lagoon and site of special scientific interest teeming with a variety of wildlife. There is also a golf course. Falmouth offers such a rich variety of landscape and attractions for people of all ages, it is sure to tempt you back time and again.
