  • "We are just back from a wonderful week stay in Jasper's Retreat."

    The property is extremely well equipped and maintained. There was everything ould possibly need and well thought out and we slept well. There were quite a few spiders and webs which was probably due to windows being open all time. We would recommend the property and the park, a quiet and friendly place with walks from the door.

  • "This property is great, very clean and well decorated with many finishing touches which really make the property a pleasure to stay in."

    It had everything and more for a great stay, and furnishings were clean and comfortable. What I also really liked is the ambience and up keep of the outside areas, beautifully planted out borders and greens, with a small river running through the complex, it is really lovely. specific parking is just a few steps from the front door and there is additional parking further away if necessary. Tennis courts look amazing, we don't play anymore but they looked wonderful condition, we didn't investigate the other facilities which are on offer here. There are great walks directly from the property so no need to use the car to get out and about, if you're able. We stay at holiday cottages a couple of times a year and this one certainly was the best for a very long time, it is a credit to the owners and I thank them for letting it out.

  • "We loved our stay here, everything from the stylish decor to the little ‘extras’ it felt like home straight away."

    The main bedroom had a super size comfortable bed & the twin room was a good size as well. We loved all the gardens here and had some nice walks around the grounds, the gardens & borders near the river were still in flower in September & well maintained. Thank you to the owners we enjoyed our time at Jaspers Retreat & hope to come back.

  • "Wonderful property in a wonderful location."

    Exactly as the pictures show. Found the bar/ shop/ park and soft play really useful. I think having a travel cot and a high chair would be useful if being advertised as a family friendly property, because it really is, we have a wonderful stay, these yhings would have just made things a little easier for us. And our son enjoyed playing with the other children in the communal garden behind the cottage too. We would definitely love to come back again!

    The radiators in the cottage where a bit complicated to work .loved the bed and shower all in all loved the place .

Falmouth, with its magnificent natural harbour (the third largest in the world), winding streets and beaches, will keep you occupied for hours. The town's old harbour-side pubs, excellent shopping, art gallery and stunning National Maritime Museum simply complete the picture. Pendennis Castle, built by Henry VIII, is Falmouth's most popular attraction, sited on its own peninsula with superb panoramic sea views. Across from Falmouth harbour is the beautiful town of St Mawes, surrounded by the rocky coves, sandy beaches and lush green countryside of the Roseland Peninsula. Go there by car (15 miles) or take the passenger ferry from Falmouth (15 minutes).
