Good location to explore that area of Cornwall and also a good location for walking into Tintagel for a meal or drink. Good quality accommodation with great hosts who were very friendly and gave good advice of where to visit. The bonus was the great weather we had during our stay

A great base to explore local footpaths and the coastal path. Several good pubs and cafes within a 15 minute walk. Very peaceful at nighttime.

  • "We had a great stay in Badgers Way."

The property is light and airy with plenty of space for 2 people including lots of storage space and a large bathroom and shower cubicle and good kitchen space. There's also a large smart TV and WiFi. The property is attached to the owner's home but they were unobtrusive. Sarah seemed very friendly and helpful when we did speak to her. We didn't really use the outside space due to the time of year but you might feel very close to their garden sitting out in the summer. We didn't see a lot of the dogs who when we did see them were friendly and not particularly noisy (mind the dog pooh on the driveway - it was cleared up fairly promptly). The property is in a quiet location on the edge of Tintagel (down a little unmade track) but an easy walk to the village (pubs, cafes, shops) / castle / coast path. If you like walking, do go and visit St Nectans Glen and the Rocky Valley. We were sad to leave and would definitely recommend.

Like a home from home. Good location for walking the coastal path and into Tintagel. As off season, not a lot to do in Tintagel until Wednesday to Sunday, but plenty in the surrounding areas. Simon and Sarah very friendly and available to answer any queries you may have. An extremely relaxing week to celebrate my birthday. Sharon and Kevin

Lovely lounge/kitchen with views to the garden and sea in the distance. Plenty of storage and well equipped. Spacious bedroom and large bathroom with great walk in shower. A really well thought out property, with Sarah and Simon on hand next door for any queries and information. Tintagel is a lovely village, with some good pubs/ restaurants in easy walking distance and two small food stores. It’s a good base for local attractions and walks and also to visit North Cornwall and Bodmin Moor. All in all, a great stay!

Dear Kirsten & Dorothy, it was lovely to have you stay for the week and we are so glad you enjoyed yourselves. Just for the non German speaking readers here is the English translation of your comments: We had a wonderful week in Sarah and Simon's apartment. Tea, coffee and biscuits awaited us on arrival and we immediately felt at home. Everything is very lovingly furnished and equipped. In the morning the sun peeps through the kitchen window and in the evening it shines on the terrace until sunset. The house is very quiet, which apart from the comfortable bed allowed us to sleep well. An espresso machine, hiking guide, etc. were great things that made our stay even sweeter. Great were Sarah and Simon who are incredibly kind, open, accommodating and considerate. Owners who live right next door couldn't be more pleasant! We would like to come again!!! Property Owner
