"We’ve just returned from a wonderful stay at Lower Gadles and couldn’t recommend it more."

It was beautifully clean, really spacious, and worked perfectly for our two families with children of different ages. Having two bathrooms upstairs meant each family had their own, plus the extra toilet/utility downstairs was so handy. The little snug was a big hit with the children, giving them their own space to play and unwind. Bev the owner was fantastic! Super friendly, quick to respond, and really helpful with everything. The cottage had such a welcoming feel and the homemade cake on arrival was absolutely delicious! The whole holiday so easy and enjoyable. I cannot recommend highly enough.

Thankyou for you kind Review...makes it all worthwhile...glad you had a great holiday...Bev Property Owner

"Lower Gadles is a wonderful house."

There is lots of room for a family to spread out, with ample TV and the bonus of table tennis. And a snug and conservatory for a read and a glass of wine. The gardens are lovely and a perfect setting for a barbecue. The kitchen is very well equipped, and throughout the house every detail has been attended to. Bev answered all our questions very quickly, and Ian sorted out a broken light switch the same day. Overall totally five star!

And all the small details - from the cake, which the kids & us enjoyed, to the blossom flowers that welcomed us with their magnificent scent. All so lovely. Thank you so much for being so attentive & responsive to our hundreds of questions and for pointing out all the lovely places to go & eat. It's been a wonderful week. Thank you!"- Guest book review

""We've had a lovely week in your gorgeous house."

Thank you so much for the welcome pack, it was much appreciated. After all the fresh air and walking we were grateful for such comfy beds. We've done a boat trip from Penzance, visited the Minack, saw dolphins at Lands End, Eden Project, St Ives, Cape Cornwall and lots of rockpool exploring. Ate at the nearby pub Fox and Hounds - nice pub grub and super friendly staff. Recommend getting the train from St Erth rather than trying to drive. Thank you for a lovely stay :)" - Guest book review

So pleased that we found this house. It was a 'Wow' moment when opened up the house and had our first look around. There was plenty of space for the 7 of us. Comfortable and well stocked, thank you so much for welcome pack. The house is amazing & beautifully decorated & well equipped. It is well situated for Falmouth & Penzyn but not far from Gwithean & Hayle (30mins car). We would most definitely stay again and will recommend to friends. We couldn't fault this holiday. Everything was amazing. The welcome pack was a lovely surprise and provided us with a nice coffee & cake following our long drive down. What an amazing house! Very tastefully decorated. We could easily have stayed for longer than a week. We visited the Healeys Cyder farm, a great experience tasting the cyders and definitely got our money's worth. (Better than we expected) We would definitely recommend this house to any family. Thank you for a memorable holiday xxx" - Guest book review

""We travelled from the West Midlands for our holiday."

We decided on a 2 week stay and are so pleased we did. Louise Goadles is a beautiful house with everything you need. The decor is perfect and was a real home from home. The children loved the table tennis table and tree swing so much. Lots of memories made. The welcome basket was a lovely touch and lemon cake - I need the recipe. The holiday was full of fun and happiness, the perfect way for our children to relax after A-levels and GCSEs and for us parents to enjoy cake and hot coffees. Thank you for a wonderful stay! P.S. If anyone looking for fun activity, try football golf in St Austells - Brilliant." - Guest book review

    "We had a fantastic week!"

We can’t praise this beautiful cottage or its owners enough, they have got it spot on! From the lovely welcoming text sent by Bev before our arrival and depart such a considerate touch, to the generous basket of goodies left for us but also the extras like the table tennis, egg chair and all the garden facilities, we wanted for nothing. This cottage was truly outstanding from the immaculate cleanliness, exceptional comfort and perfect attention to detail. It felt luxurious with all your home comforts and much more. The quality of towels, bed linen and high end toiletries were the best we’ve ever had at any Sykes cottage which is saying something. We wished we had booked it for 2 weeks as we didn’t want to leave.

Thank you for your lovely comments that makes it all worth while so glad you had a lovely time. Property Owner
