What guests are saying
We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful holiday lodge.
Set in such a peaceful location, it was an ideal place to relax, unwind and enjoy some quality family time. There are some great facilities on site, which we made lots of use of during our stay. The children especially loved the swimming pool, which was definitely a highlight for them! We also enjoyed some delicious takeaways from the onsite pub, which were a real bonus and made everything so convenient. The lodge provided a fantastic base, with some great surrounding locations, we particularly enjoyed Tavistock, Dartmoor and the train ride to Plymouth! We thoroughly enjoyed every minute. Thank you so much for sharing your holiday home with us. We have some fantastic memories to take away and would happily recommend it to others. We would definitely love to return!
Needs a little TLC and up keep as the outside nothing like photos so makes you think what have I come too, inside was clean and tidy but needs updating very old fashioned, so lets the property down.
Pub on site food was very disappointing, so didn’t attempt using the pool or other facilities on site as this put us off, but they were doing work maintenance on site so maybe improved Overall we had nice holiday and this made it a good base for our days out.
Great property and location.
It is pet friendly which is great. There was also lots of great information and basic kitchen equipment and coffee tea etc My only change would be Supplying a hoover that actually helps clean pet hair as the one supplied does jot down the job. The other point to note is the booster for the hot water and low water pressure. I would also add drying facilities as with kids it’s really hard to keep on top of the drying if you do a wash.
