    The owners are really helpful and kind .We loved to met Simon and Jessica is super helpful .The location is the middle of all the best beaches to visit and Hayle is only 14 mins ish driving . I would recommend this place to anyone.

  • "This was a lovely cottage, beautifully decorated, fully supplied with everything you need and very comfortable."

    The only thing I'd say is that there is some road noise which could be bothersome if you are sensitive to this, especially in the morning. Also some music audible from the pub downstairs but this didn't bother us at all.

    The apartment was in a convenient location, and despite of being next to a restaurant, bar, we were not disturbed by noise. I believe they close at 8.30 p.m. The food from the restaurant was good and the staff were very helpful. We would happily stay there again. Hopefully with better weather. Thank you

  • "An amazing apartment, home from home with plenty of space."

    The apartment is attached to The Shire Inn which is great for a lovely carvery and other meals without having to travel. Lovely touches such as fresh milk and orange juice in the fridge along with 2 bottles of water. The owner communicated with us to ensure we had everything and that we were happy. We used the apartment as a central base to visit most of the well known parts of Cornwall. As we have an electric vehicle Camborne was both central to everywhere we wanted to go and also has fantastic electric charging facilities near a Costa Drive through. If we visit Cornwall again the apartment would definitely be our first choice.

    It was so comfortable and relaxing. Really comfortable beds and great showers. Everything was just perfect. We also ate in the restaurant and the food was amazing snd staff very friendly. Very busy but did not affect our stay at all. The location is perfect too as in between north and south coast so great to access all areas. We will definitely be back.

    The location was a great central base to visit all the go to places, on top of this we highly recommend the Shire Inn for food, offering a great selection of food at very reasonable prices, just be sure to leave enough room for a lovely offering of deserts, Thank you to all the team for a lovely break away

    The apartment is furnished to a very high standard and has everything you need to make it a home from home. Friendly staff below in the restaurant with amazing food and cake! Property is situated just out of Camborne and within easy walk of the train station, which only takes 30 minutes to get to St Ives. If you want a lovely base to stop in the middle of Cornwall, then we can highly recommend Robins Nest.

Camborne lies in the heart of a former mining community and was well known for its “Queen of Cornish Mines" - the Dolcoath copper and tin mine, the deepest in Cornwall. Today, Camborne is home to Heartlands, a community space covering 19 acres and scattered with remnants of the mining industry, providing a free space for visitors to explore the heritage of Cornwall, browse art and craft projects, stroll through the gardens and sit and share a picnic or enjoy lunch at the Red River Café. From Camborne centre you can follow an interesting town trail, or spend the afternoon in the museum before visiting the array of shops and pubs. A ten-minute drive from Camborne brings you to a wealth of sandy Cornish beaches including Portreath, Gwithian and Porthtowan. Camborne is ideal for exploring Land’s End, the Lizard Peninsula, Truro and the Eden Project, which are all less than an hour’s drive away, ideal for a day trip.
