  • "See Two Seas is everything described on the internet and more besides."

We booked the property for a week as we wanted a brief family holiday with our adult children and their partners. Originally we had planned on eating out but the property is so well appointed and together with the garden and hot tub, we found ourselves cooking and dining in most evenings of our break. St Just (a short walk / cycle from the house) is a delightful small unaffected town with great local food shops and cafe's. The Dog and Rabbit Cafe is splendid with the very best food and coffee. Best local beach for us was Sennen Beach, sandy and easily accessible. We all greatly enjoyed our stay, we thank our hosts for their hospitality, fabulous food pack and use of their spacious and spotless property, and we have no hesitation in recommending it to others young and old as a magnificent location for a great holiday any time of year.

Lovely and clean and with the addition of a goodie basket which was gratefully received. Lovely hosts which were on hand if we needed anything clarifying. We utilised the hot tub which was extremely relaxing and a great addition to the cottage. Great views and a fab week, shame we had to leave.

  • "See Two Seas is a beautiful holiday cottage."

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, and our only grumble is that the week flew by too quickly. West Cornwall is real a hidden gem. Cape Cornwall is particularly breathtaking, and we loved the fact that it was just a stroll away. We loved St Just too, which is a bustling village, and it was great that we could either walk or cycle easily up to the shops or pub! This was our first time enjoying a trip away that ‘far down’ in Cornwall, the journey usually puts us off! We decided to go for it because the cottage looked so lovely, and we were not disappointed at all. It was lovely to have the bikes, and the hot tub was great fun. It was a shame we didn’t get a chance to use the paddle boards, but the conditions just weren’t right. Our host were very welcoming and we really appreciated the beautiful basket of goodies on our arrival. The welcome e-mail was also really informative and helpful. We definitely will return to See Two Seas at some point in the future. Thank you for allowing us to use your beautiful cottage as our home for the week!

  • "Our stay at See Two Seas was absolutely perfect!"

Although we have been to many holiday cottages, this one blew all the others away! It is beautifully decorated with so many considerate touches that made us feel instantly at home but at the same time in a very special place! The welcome hamper was very much appreciated and contained all we could want with delicious local fayre! Our hosts, Lorna and Harvey were incredibly welcoming and were always on hand in case of any issues, but totally respected our privacy! Thank you both so much for making a special family celebration extra special! We will definitely be back!

The house was beautifully presented. The jacuzzi was much appreciated by both children and adults. We made full use of the paddle boards. We loved the sound of the cows mooing in the mornings and the sunsets in the evenings were spectacular.

  • "A beautiful house with so many thoughtful extras to help you make the most of your stay."

(The paddleboards were particularly popular with our children.) We found the location was good for day trips out (St Ives is a must visit) and not as remote as expected. St Just itself caters to most things you would need (shop, ice cream parlour, cafe etc) and Penzance is an easy drive for the larger supermarkets etc The hosts were welcoming and helpful without being intrusive and the house had just about everything you could need. (A full length mirror would be a good addition). The view from the mezzanine is such a treat, especially at sunset on a clear day, and the hot tub makes for a relaxing end to long days out and about. We had a wonderful stay and would happily return.

  • "See Two Seas is the perfect place to relax and chill."

The converted Barn is pure comfort with everything you can wish for and is exceptional in every way. The location is great with many walks right on your doorstep and there’s many more just a short drive away, with sea views from the downstairs and the upstairs chill out room we were lucky enough to see some Awesome sunsets. The hot tub was an added bonus and the bikes that are there were used daily. The hosts Lorna and Harvey are helpful and on hand to recommend local places to eat and the local guide pack was filled with interesting places to visit and useful information - the farm eggs and the welcome pack for both us and the treats left for our dog were very nice. Definitely worth the 2 year wait after booking - pandemic.... and we will return - still lots of places left to explore and we want to take our Grandchildren to. Huge thank you to Lorna and Harvey for providing the prefect holiday location for us xx

Sparkling clean with a lovely welcome hamper full of Cornish products. The house has been beautifully decorated and the owners really have thought of everything to make the house as welcoming as possible, we really felt at home there. We were even given a box of beautiful vegetables from the owner’s farmer father. His cows were grazing opposite and we really enjoyed watching them, long coastal walks along the SW Coast Path and walks into the village of St Just. Highly recommended and we’d definitely book again!

We cannot recommend this gorgeous barn enough with their relaxing hot tub and super spa bathrooms and spacious living. We loved it so much we can't wait to come back again. There is nothing more important than fresh air and freedom and you get this as soon as you walk out the door. On top of the lovely living accommodation we booked a massage at the cottage and Laura who came was the best therapist I have known. A really bad shoulder was sorted out in no time and I felt the best I have done in months. Beautiful pubs around to visit with the dog allowed. The old success inn was a favourite of ours including the dog who was made such a fuss of. A trip to Manack theatre and beach there and a walk to another fabulous pub in Treen The Logan Rock. Also Marazion to see St Michaels Mount. All fabulous. Thank you again Lorna and Harvey for all the time and effort to make my birthday week so special.

  • "We had an amazing post Christmas break at See Two Seas last week."

The recently converted barn has been finished to an exemplary standard; it is beautiful, stylish, welcoming, warm and comfortable, with quality, high end furnishings. Lorna had provided us with a lovely welcome hamper of local goodies, which was a fab gesture. She was also there to provide us with any local info regarding walks (there are many!), places to visit and to offer any help or advice about our stay. The log burner was fantastic for cosy January nights and Harvey was happy to replenish our supply of logs when we were running low. Saying that, even though it was January, we still managed to have a few days of beautiful sunshine. The large hot tub is also a lovely addition, which we used a few times during our stay. We would not hesitate to return to See Two Seas in the future. It is a perfect base for exploring West Cornwall and if you don't feel too energetic, it is just as perfect for sitting in the mezzanine and enjoying the beautiful views.

  • "Our October half-term holiday at See Two Seas was everything we hoped it would be and more."

The property itself is amazing... it looks great in the pictures, but it is even better in person. This is particularly so with the view from the mezzanine floor - I could have sat there for hours. The house is well equipped and finished superbly, but what makes the place all the more special is the welcome you receive from Lorna and Harvey and all the little extra touches. See Two Seas is excellently situated, feeling both secluded and yet close to amenities in St. Just. Beyond that, the surrounding area is beautiful! Highlights for us, if you get the chance, Botallack Mine, Cape Cornwall (a stones throw away), Sennen Cove, St Michael's Mount, Mousehole and my personal favourite on a clear day - Chapel Carn Brea - it has the most amazing views. Thank you so much for a wonderful holiday. The Hillman Family

The barn conversion has been completed to an exceptionally high standard. The interior decoration and furnishings are amazing and our hosts, Lorna and Harvey, could not have been more helpful. The extra touches of a full fruit bowel, drinks trolley laden with goodies with a "help yourself" message to the freshly baked scones with clotted creme and jam in the fridge and basket of other goodies were a wonderful surprise. There was nothing more that we could have wishes for, other than an extra few weeks stay. The surrounding area is perfect for a family with children and dogs as is the property, with lovely local walks. Penzance and all of the amenities was only 6 miles away, to a fabulous surfers beach within a 10 minute drive which you could use the provided paddle boards at and if you wanted you could use the kindly provided bikes to get there. We will definitely be returning in the none too distant future.
