Lovely apartment in a great location.

Thoroughly recommend it.

The apartment is very well maintained, secure and clean.

Everything has been finished to a good standard and I would recommend this property to families. The only negative would be the cleaners turning up 20 minutes before check out and eye balling us until we left at exactly 10 o clock.

A very bright and spacious apartment with a beautiful home from home feel.

The apartment had everything - the owners have taken into consideration everything that is needed for your holiday - from the fully stocked kitchen items to prepare beach picnics to the blankets for the balcony on cooler evenings. A comfortable and relaxing atmosphere with views of the beaches and sea.

Excellent property, thoroughly enjoyed our short break staying in your apartment.

Felt very safe, quiet and everything was perfect. Immaculately clean. Maybe one wash pod would have been handy and some soap in bathrooms (only as usually supplied in other properties we have booked so hadn’t thought to bring any) but tiny points amongst hundreds of good ones! Walkable in one minute to nice bar/restaurant and Tesco 5 mins walk. Good location. Hilly if walk down and back to beach and train but definitely do’able for average fitness person! Thank you for a wonderful stay. Would certainly return again in the future.

Location is good the view is obscured by trees (which is not the photo you provide) so only view you get is trees & the car park

Second time of staying here, it’s a lovely property in a good location and good value.

We’re already thinking about re-booking. A few areas to note: - on arrival a slightly unpleasant smell in the en-suite bathroom which soon disappeared - wine cooler doesn’t appear to work (not a problem - the wine went in the fridge!) - plenty of cutlery but very few food preparation knives which were not sharp - not much you can do but again the people in the apartment were noisy

We have stayed in many Carbis Bay Holidays properties over the years and Bamaluz is up there with the best.

It would have been nice if the wine fridge was working.

The coffee pot is also broken, someone has made a temporary repair.

Bamaluz is an excellent contemporary holiday apartment which is nicely furnished and well maintained.

It is well equipped, has comfy beds and the added advantage of on-site parking. St. Ives is easily accessible by bus as the bus stop is very close to the property or alternatively Carbis Bay train station is a fairly short, hilly walk away. We really enjoyed our stay here and would thoroughly recommend the apartment.

Nice walk into st Ives. Personally I would have liked a full length mirror.other than that it was a great stay.

Great location and comfortable wellmaintained apartment.

A bit cold on arrival, and we were disappointed with the lack of welcoming provisions (eg toiletries, condiments) in comparison with other rentals we have visited recently. However, this was not our first visit to Bamaluz and we'd certainly come again.

Great property in excellent location- the property had everything we needed, was really nicely decorated and provided a great base for exploring the whole area- would definitely recommend it.

My wife, our little son and I were in the Bamaluz and we loved our stay!

! The apartment was very new and clean, the balcony had ocean view and despite sleeping with an open window, we heard nothing from the nearby street while sleeping. St. Ives with its bars, restaurants and beaches was just a beautiful coastline track (around 30 minutes) away and the Carbis Bay beach accessible in under 10 minutes - again, after walking down a beautiful valley. We would recommend the Bamaluz to anyone asking and will look to come back to it one day.

This was the 3rd time staying in Bamaluz, which is a great holiday let, built and equipped to a high standard, and in an ideal location.

It is well maintained, scrupulously clean, and the bed linen is really good. We found it cold on arrival this time - it took rather a long time to warm up and the heating was not easy to control - but we'd have no hesitation in booking this apartment again.

This was our second time staying in Bamaluz, and we expect to visit again soon.

As frequent visitors to Cornwall we have stayed in various self catering apartments in St Ives, Carbis Bay, Penzance, and Newlyn, and this is the best we have found so far. Comfortable, clean, well maintained, and a great location.

Not a lot can be done about this but the apartments don’t appear to have much in the way of soundproofing from above.

Sounded like a herd of wildebeest up there from time to time. (We are in No 4 this week and it’s the same here.) Having the boiler in a cupboard in the bedroom was annoying. Took me a few nights to get used to it chuntering away. Having said that Bamaluz is a very comfortable apartment. It was exceptionally clean and tidy for our arrival and was a perfect base for walking to St Ives. Well kitted out with good quality fixtures and fittings. Extremely comfortable bed! Parking is good for the area with a space on level ground behind the apartment block. [I’ve ticked ‘Yes’ re publishing feedback but you might wish to edit out my comments about noise. Not much you can do about neighbours or how the architect decided to configure the layout! Would we return to St Margaret’s? I doubt it. As you know we have already had two apartments on Headland Road with you this year. We miss the frontline view.]

Really nice apartment.

We reslly enjoyed our stay at Bamaluz. The only thing that we were disappointed with was the constant noise from the apartment directly above which constantly sounded like a herd of baby elephants stampeding around at all times of the day and night. I realise there is not much that Sykes could do about this but it did take the shine off what was otherwise a really relaxing holiday in a nice apartment. Something the owners could do something about is the bushes to the left of the gate when exiting the property as these obscure the view on what is quite a dangerous bend. Overall, we were a bit apprehensive about our stay after staying at other quality rentals in the area for the last 14 years but we were very pleased with our stay with Sykes and will definitely book again.

My family and I had a great time at Carbis and the apartment made it even more of a fantastic stay.

It was so comfortable for our family of four. It had everything we needed. It was clean and had all the comforts for our stay. The location was perfect and allowed us to travel to St Ives easily when we wanted to go somewhere more busy. We would definitely recommend this apartment to anyone who wants to stay in Cornwall.

Property was dirty and dusty on arrival considering the late check in time due to deep cleaning.

Food stuffs from previous guests was found under sofas (popcorn snacks etc) and on floors etc. Cupboard doors were also dirty greasy etc. This really wasn’t as expected having to have a good clean up on arrival. Poor quality TV in lounge different colour bulbs in bedroom cool/warm Simple things could be done to improve stay along with non feather option on pillows for allergy sufferers

Property is well-equipped and we had no issues checking in or out.

Generally clean but we found an used shoe insert inside the drawer with the pots and pans under the cooking range top and hair in the bathrooms. Two of the bath towels were not clean - one had patches of dried sticky stuff. Hooks or bars in the bathrooms for towels very much needed. Black out blinds also a must, especially during summer months, it was very bright very early!

it is a beautiful apartment in a great location if i could fault anything it would be that there is no mirrors in the bedrooms.

I tried to book again in November but there was no availability so I am booked into another one in the same block. If it is as good as this one then I will be over the moon.

Luxurious apartment

"This apartment is wonderful. Being brand new it is very modern and everything is finished to a high spec. The decor is lovely and it has a very comfortable feel to it. The apartment had everything we could have wanted and needed. A great location, 10 minutes walk down (a very steep hill) to the carbis bay beach and approx 25 minutes walk into St Ives along the road or coastal path. I would highly recommend this apartment to anyone. The only negative is that the description says 'sea views'. These sea views are extremely limited, you can see a little bit of sea because most of the horizon is covered with a line of trees below the apartment. I imagine you do get a sea view in winter when the trees have no leaves. If you go knowing that you will not be disappointed. Everything else was perfect. "<br/>Lucy Willets

Fantastic holidays in your beautiful apartment.

Location great with lovely walks into St Ives and beyond (Zennor coastal path!!!). Weather has been superb for October. We will have very happy memories of staying here. Thank you Darren and Sarah. Drinks are on us when we're back home!

Nice relaxing break.

A comfortable & tactfully decorated apartment. Only critique would be the sofa being a little small to accommodate a family. The selection of games to play is a nice touch! Highly recommended Blue Thunder speed boat trip to Seal Island, we were fortunate enough to not only see the seals but a couple of dolphins too!

Wonderful apartment in a wonderful location.

We have been to Carbis Bay before and stayed in accommodation provided by Carbis Bay Holidays which is always excellent. Would recommend a trip to St Ives, we walked along the cost path, lovely views. We had a problem with the hot water tank, reported it at 10pm and it was fixed by 2pm the next day. Great response and service by Carbis Bay Holidays.

Been coming to Carbis Bay for over 60 years and nowhere has been nicer than this.

Lovely flat, excellent decor and all the comforts you could wish for. Would love to come back and no hesitation in recommending to anyone.

Extremely lucky with the weather!

Glorious sunny week, visited many beaches in the local vicinity...took up paddle boarding which was great fun and can't wait to explore more coves and beauty spots. Discovered a new restaurant to add to our favourites, The Cellar Bistro on main street running through St Ives, fabulous. A beautiful week.

We have had another lovely family holiday here in Carbis Bay.

The apartment had been great and has got everything we needed. We have had some lovely days out and visited lots of beaches and the walks have been fantastic. We can't wait to come back again!

The apartment is perfect, amazing views, warm, comfortable, and had everything we could of asked for. A stones through from the beach and train to St Ives. Our first time in Cornwall and I think we couldn't of chosen a better place to stay. Thanks.

Super apartment in a prime location just ten minutes from the beach.

We're travelling with two teenagers who would sit on the beach and watch the sunset. Very beautiful! All in all a lovely holiday!

Lovely weather, plenty of walks. The beaches are stunning. Just a short walk to the beach at Carbis Bay. Really handy having beach equipment available in the apartment. St Ives is a nice walk with lovely beaches, shops and restaurants. Suggest walking or catching the train to St Ives. St Michael's Mount is lovely. Becks Fish and Chips - good value. Lovely meal at The Gannet Inn across the road. Tesco a short stroll away. Refreshed, relaxed and looking to return. Thank you!

Adore Carbis Bay and the surrounding areas. Have been coming here for years.

We've had a wonderful week - the apartment is fabulous - very clean and beautifully decorated, it's got everything we need and in a great location.

We've done some great walks and have certainly tested our fitness going up and down the steep paths! We love the Beach Club - great for coffee in the morning before setting off on our walk along the coastal path to St Ives. Have had great meals at The Gannet Inn, Carbis Bay, The Porthminster Beach Café, St Ives and the Harbour Hotel.

What a lovely apartment, so beautifully clean and welcoming.

We have thoroughly enjoyed our stay and both felt very comfortable. We have been very lucky with the weather and enjoyed some spectacular walks along the Coast Path. The highlight of which was the walk from St Ives towards Zennor. It is quite challenging in places but very worth it for the amazing views and sound of the crashing waves. We had lovely meals at both the Gannet Inn and The Beach Club. Thank you for a wonderful stay, we have really enjoyed it and are already planning our return.

We cam in September last year- we enjoyed ourselves so much we came back again! The weather has been glorious so have been enjoying the beautiful beach of Carbis Bay and the beaches in St Ives. The coastal walk into St Ives is fabulous - We will definitely be back!

We have had a fantastic week, the weather was ok and we completed some lovely walks.

The apartment is fabulous, exceptionally clean and comfortable. The position of the apartment is really good for the trainline and also a bus stop just across the road. We slept really well in the very comfortable beds zzzzz. Carbis Bay and Porthminster beach are beautiful and very safe for the children. We wouldn't hesitate in booking Bamaluz again so we hope to be back soon.

We are usually day-trippers to this area, but have thoroughly enjoyed the apartment, beaches and all it has to offer for a week.

Foodie highlights for our family of pizza lovers were Onzo & Host in town. We hope to be back. Porthminster was our favourite beach, The puss pass for a week is a good option. Thank you.

This apartment is sublime, sparkling clean and stylish, such perfection.

We come to St Ives every year and we have stayed in a number of apartments in this complex and know they are all of good standard.

The week has been the best weather we have experienced in 8 years as it has been this week. We recommend Becks for fish and chips, La Casita and The Old Forge for great food. Thanks for a lovely stay.

This is a great base for exploring the numerous attractions, walks etc, and the kids loved the beach at Carbis Bay. Beautiful apartment - everything we needed.

The weather has been kind - not a lot of sun but always dry. Always enjoy Carbis Bay.

We have had a brilliant week exploring lots of local beaches (6 in total).

The apartment was so handy, just right for out family of four, and budget friendly. highlights for us were Sunday Lunch at the loft in St Ives (The cauliflower cheese was so delicious), the blue thunder rib boat rid, also in St Ives, the 'Giants' performance at the Minack theatre and good cake and a brew at the cove café in Hayle. So many memories made with our two boys - Thank you.

What a beautiful apartment!

The location is fantastic, lots to see and do. This is our second visit to Carbis Bay. We love it here. Unfortunately for us we arrived with the start of a cold and the weather , not the best. But the saving grace for us, has been this apartment. Although we've not be able to enjoy much being poorly, the comfort of your home has been a god send. We will be back and hope when we are we are luckily enough to enjoy another stay here. (Hopefully in better health). Thank you for providing a beautiful, comfortable home for us to enjoy.

We have loved visiting the beautiful beaches, hunting for sea glass at Mousehole and watching a show at the Minack Theatre. We would also highly recommend the Jaw Rib Ride in St Ives Harbour. Fully rested & restored. Was a great base for exploring the area, been down many times and still finding "gems". St Agnes well worth a visit, St Agnes bakery very good. Will certainty be back, what's not to like!
