  • "What a stunning property with fantastic views, brilliant location and extremely well equipped."

The rooms are bright and airy, comfortable and with wonderful views of the bay. Short walk to the beach of Carbis Bay railway station with a short hop into St Ives (I would recommend to get the train rather than drive and try to park and it is cheap). There was plenty of plates, cutlery and cooking implements, so never and issue, a couple of ovens, microwave and three fridges, what more can anyone ask for. I would not hesitate in booking again. The only issue was there was only one key for the front door and no key for the back door, would have been handy if there were a couple more.

Thank you for your feedback, we are pleased you had a great time with us and enjoyed the wonderful views and the beach. We look forward to welcoming you back in the near future. Kind Regards, Carbis Bay Holiday Team. Property Owner

  • "Amazing property, three kids including one teenager, grandparents and a dog included in our group and was perfect for us."

Rooms were big, playroom for the kids, hot tub all great bonuses. Please note garden is not secure for pets, which is ashame, as only a little bit of work could make it that way. Kitchen very well equipped, could just do with a few more breakfast bowls and teaspoons. Would recommend staying here to any family, great property in amazing location of Carbis bay, not sure there is better beach anywhere in uk.

We are glad you found the property to be amazing. We hope to see you again in the near future. Warm Regards Carbis Bay Holidays Team Property Owner

Otherwise excellent e.g. hot tub issue solved with replacement pump in half a day.

Thank you for your feedback. We are sorry to hear that you found some instructions a bit confusing and that you had an issue with the hot tub but are pleased that we were able to sort this so quickly for you. • "The property was amazing for so many reasons."

We visited with our son and our parents and they loved it too. The views were stunning, the beds - were so comfortable and everywhere was clean. The kitchen had a good range of pans, cutlery, crockery etc and wifi worked great.the location of the house is ideal for access to Carbis Bay beach (absolutely stunning!) literally a 5 min walk, Carbis Bay train station - again probably 8 mins at most and trains into St Ives ran every 30 mins and took 4 mins to get in. There is a beautiful walk along the coastal path to get to St Ives too, just 20 mins from the house. We loved every minute and can’t wait to come back! Thank you for a wonderful stay

Thank you for your fabulous feedback. We are thrilled to hear that you loved the property, location and your stay! Thank you so much again for your comments and we hope to welcome you back in the future. Kinds Regards, The Carbis Bay Holidays Team Property Owner

  • "Exceptional property for a family holiday."

Our family age range is 74 - 6 and everyone enjoyed their stay at Bayside. Thanks again to the owners for allowing us to take both family dogs - who had a great time as well. I do think you should mention about the work going on with the development in the valley which was a bit noisy occasionally, particularly when they kicked off just after 0800! Thankfully I was able to park on the level space. Eldest son has an automatic car so parking on the sloping drive wasn’t a problem for him. Other car had to be parked round back. Couple of problems in the en-suite which were notified to CBH and hopefully were rectified before next booking.

  • "Bayside is exceptional; the property itself is well decorated and maintained, stunning location and the promotional images would never do it justice - this is an absolutely perfect holiday residence."

But what made it for us is the owners attention to detail in respect of provision of equipment. Everything in Kitchen, dining, barbie, games room high standard, new John Lewis quality kit. Towels and linen absolutely immaculate and great quality - very high standards and absolutely NOTHING to want for. The owners of Bayside set an exceptionally high bar; if we return to Carbis Bay area in the next couple of years I'll be looking at availability at Bayside!!

  • "Yes I would."

I would say the garden was not dog friendly as there were lots of gaps in the hedges for our dog to escape. I still haven't had my security deposit of £500 returned...

Dear Mr Parks, Thank you for taking the time to submit your feedback. Our properties that are advertised as pet friendly are not guaranteed to be secure, the pets remain the responsibility of the pet owner. Listings that are pet friendly, this is a decision made by our owners. We have sent you a email regarding your security deposit, as we would like to reassure you that since becoming part of the Sykes Family. We do not have on record that you paid a security deposit; you had a Good Housekeeping Bond added to your booking, which means we put an authorization on your card, similar to when you stay in hotels, we didn't physically take the money. We hope to invite you back in the future. Kind Regards, Carbis Bay Holidays Property Owner

It always seems a shame there is no option for recycling to be collected. We weren't sure whether to just strip the top sheets or the mattress protectors too, when leaving - might be worth clarifying in the "checking out" information. Other than that, had a wonderful holiday, thank you!
