Fantastic apartment with everything we needed for a comfortable stay, thank you.

Prime location with amazing views across to Godrevy. Beds were so comfortable with quality bedding and lovely soft towels provided. The perfect base for exploring the coastline nearby and our Cavapoo loved our early morning walks down to the beautiful beach. Loved our stay in this lovely apartment so much, we will definitely return. Thank you, Alison, Adrian and Charlie the Cavapoo

A lovely duplex apartment with sea views.

It was spotless on arrival. The bedding and towels were a high standard. The kitchen was very well equipped and I managed to cook Christmas day lunch without any problems. I would gladly book again.

Fabulous property with amazing views over the bay.

The balcony was a morning sun trap with the added bonus of the rear terrace for afternoon sun! Genoa is modern, well maintained with everything you need. A short walk down a very steep hill takes you to the Carbis bay resort and beach which is amazing and a 20 minute walk along the coast path to St Ives. Perfect stay with our Cockapoo we would love to return.

We had a fabulous time.

Apartment is well appointed and the views are stunning. Parking was easy and my sons really enjoyed the TV tech. The only negative we had was when we went to leave early we discovered that the wheelie bin for the property was completely full (not sure if it hadnt been emptied the previous week or if someone else had used it) which meant we had nowhere to put the rubbish and being outside of business hours we were unable to contact anyone to ask what they would like us to do but apart from that the whole holiday was seamless and very very enjoyable. Thank you to all the team involved in this property.

This apartment is amazing the view the surroundings and also dog friendly so its a family holiday for all ,12 0ut of 10 will be back next year

Stunning property, amazing views, great location.

That's how I would sum up Genoa. This beautiful, modern, very comfortable, cosy apartment is a truly fantastic base for your Cornish holiday with amazing beaches on your doorstep. It really did cover all bases. Of course St Ives is wonderful but to be able to stay within easy reach of all it has to offer in this stunning property is a real privilege. It is clean, bright and spacious, light pouring in from the huge windows and an elevated position showing the bays in all their glory. Close to the coastal path and the bus route for those who wish to use it. 10 out of 10!!!

We had such a wonderful magical holiday!

Views were amazing and the short walk to Carbis bay beach was a bonus, however the hill was a little steep on the way back but we got used to it

There are a few small things that require attention:- Fridge requires a couple of screws to hold it in place as every time you open it falls forward Ironing board cover needs replacing Tried to Open vellux window however somebody had wedged the handle there Also thought 2 dishwasher tablets for the size of the dishwasher for the week was very stingy However all in all a very nice holiday let and would recommend and use again

Genoa is not a genuine dog friendly accommodation.

The outside is not enclosed, meaning your dog has to be on the lead at all times unless you are playing together. In addition, the manual states clearly that it is Guide Dogs only, and don't let them on the grass! Where else was Honey going to wee etc? Apart from that, Genoawas wonderful.

We have stayed at this property before and it’s a particular favorite of ours.

This time was no exception. Apart from a couple of minor grips we would be back. One of my personal issues was that there are too many perfume sticks placed around. I suffer from allergies and I did mention this to the booking agent about strong odours. Lastly the light in the bedroom hadn’t been dusted in ages and was full of cobwebs. On a positive we stayed Christmas week and they had put up a Christmas tree which was a nice touch.

Slight issue with the outside lights at the back of the building. Shame we had to cut short our stay due to illness.

Genoa is one of the nicest properties we have stayed in around Carbis bay.

Booking ref 3667F-EN To whom it may concern. Firstly I would like to say thank you for the £100 compensation for the broken shower controls. The service we received regarding this was superb, the maintenance man was there with in minutes of us calling the office and he was very helpful. The apartment was beautiful, very clean and fully equipped. The view absolutely stunning. Unfortunately, I do have one complaint. We arrived at the apartment an hour early, we checked the key safe and as the key was there I presumed it would be ok to enter the apartment. We’d only been in there a few minutes when an Extremely aggressive woman came in screaming at my elderly parents that we had no right being in there until she had inspected the place. Ok, we made a mistake by entering early which I honestly did not think would be such an issue. I apologised over and over and said we would leave but there was absolutely no reasoning with this woman, she was so aggressive and rude. I worked in the travel industry on cruise ships and we were always told the guest should ALWAYS be treated with the utmost respect regardless if you thought they were in the wrong or not. This was most definitely not the case here. It’s such a shame we had to have this horrible experience as everything else was 5 star.

Apartment was stunning!

One of the nicest places we have stayed in, everything was of a high quality. Felt very homely and the views were amazing. Would highly recommend.

Genoa was perfect, well maintained, very clean and spacious with everything we needed.

Very nicely furnished with comfy furniture. Beautiful view too. A welcome pack was left which was very much appreciated. Would highly recommend a stay here and we will definitely return. Couldn’t fault it.

Beautiful property in an excellent location.

The property was well laid out and had all of the home from home items. We had a few issues with some of the local kids playing football/frisbee in the car park over my car but that isn’t the property owners fault. We would definitely book again.

This property was one of the best we have stayed in.

It never felt like a holiday rental it was a real home from home. We loved it so much we have booked to visit again in October. My only grumble is the Valley Road Hill it is very steep if coming up from the beach. Only mention this for the benefit of those less able. However this has not deterred us from wanting to return.

Had a great stay.

The flat had everything we needed. Great view and best of all our litttke dog was welcome. Short walk to the beach. Short walk to Tesco. Perfect location and very warm and comfortable accommodation. Would definitely recommend.

The property exceeded our expectations.

It is really well located, with access to Carbis Bay and the local trains and buses close-by. Fantastic views from the property and the provision of binoculars to see the local fishing boats was a bonus. We had a fantastic week and loved the local area for walking, eating and drinking.

Great views, high spec finishing a.

Lovely bedrooms. The living area was small for 6 people with insufficient comfy seats but fine for a lovely week away in a great setting.

This is our third visit to Genoa and once again we have thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

The facilities offered are great and the situation of Genoa is ideal. All in all no complaints whatsoever and we have already booked for next year.

The location is peaceful with an amazing view of the sea which is only a short walk away and St.Ives is also walkable along a delightful coastal path (less than 2 miles)

We really enjoyed our week at Genoa.

The view I never get tired of looking at. It's a lovely apartment, and a great asset that we can bring along our little dog too, so she can enjoy the holiday break we have. Although we live in Cornwall ourselves, mid county, we love coming to visit Carbis Bay, and staying there. We had a couple of small issues, such as the bathroom window wouldn't open, and the top bedroom window wouldn't close, so we reported it straight away to the office for them to look at once our week had ended. But it wouldn't stop me from staying at this lovely apartment again. Thank you.

We could thoroughly recommend The Firehouse in Fore Street, St Ives and Cafe Pasta on the harbourside. Two places that did wonderful full english breakfasts were On Shore and The Ocean Grill on the harbourside. I loved my coffee at Costa in Tesco (Carbis Bay) and the view from there must be the nicest of any Costa in the country. If anyone wants to experience a wonderful pasty i would say Rowes in Penzance or Helston are just gorgeous. The views from various rooms were amazing. We could not fault anything and hope to come back again soon. We enjoyed a lovely seafood meal at the Mermaid on the last night and put on a few pounds sampling the Cornish pasties and cream teas. Afternoon tea at the Carbis Bay Hotel was a real treat. "Having been visiting St Ives for 50+ years I have to say that this was the nicest accommodation I have experienced. I have stayed at a number of popular hotels in St Ives but this was by far a better experience. The whole process from start to finish was straight forward and uncomplicated, many times over the years I have experienced less than satisfactory accommodation and service, this was not the case with Genoa our expectations were exceeded from the minute we met your representative, you seem to have this process spot on. We like the coffee shop in St Ives ‘The Hub’ for snacks and coffee, also the fish bar next door did amazing fish and chips…we always make a trip to the Tinners Arms at Zennor for lunch and that didn’t disappoint. We also had dinner a couple of times at The Badger Inn in Lelant, which had excellent food and service. We would definitely look to book Genoa again for future trips to Carbis Bay…hopefully not in the too distant future!" H. & D. Broomhead

"Everything about the holiday at Genoa was exceptional. The standard of the accommodation and cleanliness was excellent, the greet/handover was efficient and the holiday more than met our expectations. What we particularly liked was the extra’s i.e. the cream tea. the pint of milk etc. We visited the Seal & Otter Sanctuary and Lappa Valley Steam Railway with our two year old granddaughter and although a little expensive for adults under 5’s are free and she loved every minute at both these venues. The Wyevale Garden Centre is an excellent coffee stop and we ate out twice at the La Casita, the food and service here was excellent and they were very accommodating to our granddaughter.The Eden Project is well worth a visit although quite expensivem, we used our Tesco Clubcard vouchers and for four adults (one of which was a concession i.e. over 60) it only cost £28 – good tip for prospective visitors." February was a lovely time to visit Carbis Bay, a time when many people probably wouldn't even consider visiting. The walk from Carbis Bay to St Ives is well worth taking, with some lovely views along the way. We can certainly recommend dining at the Porthminster Cafe' on Porthminster Beach. It is very popular, so booking is recommended. Also the Sea Food Cafe in Fore Street is well worth a visit, again booking is recommended. The Carbis Bay Hotel restaurant is also well worth a visit." The children loved having their own rooms and my husband and I especially enjoyed the filter coffee machine!! We did a lovely walk into St Ives and beyond via the coastal path and spent a little time on Carbis Bay Beach although we did head up the coast to Newquay for the surfing too. "We have been to Cornwall on a number of occasions, but never to Carbis Bay. It was enjoyable and quite peaceful saying that it is only a short distance from St Ives. The kids enjoyed the beach at both CB and Hayle. We ate at Alba and the Sea Food Restaurant on Fore St in St Ives a couple of times and both were excellent. Absolutely Stunning

"Genoa was one of the most beautiful apartments we have stayed in in Carbis Bay. We were an adult family and everyone had their own space. The underfloor heating in the bathrooms and the Kitchen was wonderful. We stayed during Feb which was cold but the apartment was wonderful. The view was lovely, we also had our puppy with us so the short walk to the beach was great. We would 100% return. "<br/>Lisa
