  • "Really comfortable, modern and well appointed flat."

Bright and airy when windows are opened. Made the most of the fabulous sunny weather. Bus stops nearby, good bus service and fairly close to town. Close to supermarket, pubs and restaurants. The beach access is a bit steep but manageable and not alot you can do about that except get your trainers on Liked the doors onto the small balcony, open the doors to get fantastic views across the bay. My friend noted that there could be a mirror close to a socket in the smaller twin bedroom. Apart from that , no grumbles at all. Parking is easy and very handy. But the driveway is at least 2 metres wide. I was able to drive my car backwards up into the space with ease. This would have been very difficult, actually impossible if I had tried to do this with the 250cm width advertised. Needed to be said as this advertised miss measurement could put potential holiday tenants off. I just looked on google earth before booking to make sure I could take a slightly bigger car. Will book again and recommend to friends in the future.

  • "Our family of four stayed for a week, and the flat was exactly as advertised."

It was modern, spacious, and a wonderful place to come back to after a day of exploring. The parking space was a much-appreciated perk, and after a week, my reversing skills had definitely improved. Thank you!

  • "Very clean and tidy."

So spacious and well presented. Added extras made it feel special. Surprised at how much room there is. The views and the bedroom balcony are just stunning. We forgot to leave a note but the plug sockets in the cubord where the microwave is didnt work. At first we thought the microwave was faulty but it worked fine on another plug socket. Also the back parking area is just awful. Filled with pallets and junk. We trief to move broken benches and wooden pallets to create a turning circle for the car which was still near on impossible. We resorted to reversing the car from a very busy road up a tight alley way as all the junk made it impossible to turn. If you wasn’t confident to do this I’m not sure where u would park. With a bit of a tidy up and a trip To the tip they could make this area much more parking friendly

Thank you for taking the time to give us feedback, we are glad to see that you enjoyed your stay. We shall look into the points you have raised for future improvements. Kind regards, Carbis Bay holidays Team. Property Owner

  • "Comfortable apartment in a convenient position for public transport and good restaurants."

We loved our week in Carbis Bay, there was so much do locally. From having a walk to St Ives, a meal at The Bean Inn or taking the Lands End Coaster bus to scenic places. It was a pleasure to return to Samphire apartment after a long day out. Our small car fitted into the parking spot and had room to turn the car around. The only things lacking was a good wine bottle opener and place mats for the table. We were a bit confused about the recycling bins, which bin was for glass, so perhaps this could be made clearer. Would we return to Samphire ? We've already booked to return next year.

We are pleased that you you found the apartment to be Comfortable and that you loved your stay. We hope to see you again in the near future. Warm regards, Carbis Bay Holidays Team. Property Owner

  • "We had a lovely time here."

The apartment was perfectly clean and the views are beautiful. We had a small problem with the lights and the team were excellent in getting this sorted for us. The parking out the back is fine, yes you can’t turn around but we just reversed up - problem solved! We didn’t actually use our car all week as there is plenty of public transport right on the doorstep. Hoping to return in the near future as we love the area and this apartment is perfect for our family.

Thanks for your feedback we are glad you had a lovely time. We look forward to welcoming you back again in the near future. Kindest Regards, Carbis Bay Holidays Team. Property Owner

  • "The property mentioned car parking at the rear with limited access."

I measured my car and found it was fine to go into the area described however I expected enough room to facilitate a U turn as I’d checked on Google Earth. I did not expect to be confronted with 5 x wheelie bins, an industrial wheelie bin, old pallets, old garden furniture, discarded junk, tv, old smoothing iron, etc. It made turning impossible and reversing out was, to say the least, challenging. I resorted to on street parking where I could find a space. I’m afraid this impacted upon my entire holiday experience. This property is extremely well equipped but the back yard is atrocious.

  • "We loved the Samphire apartment."

The facilities were great. The description was accurate though some really positives were left out - no mention eg of a dishwasher, Electric blinds not mentioned either in description and we almost didn’t book the apartment because I was concerned there’d be no privacy or screen from the sub etc. As it turned out the blinds were one of the best features. There was a really nice welcome pack in a lovely blue hessian bag and though I wouldn’t book a holiday apt because of a welcome pack it wasn’t mentioned either in description. Personally I love the minimal clean style but a couple of chairs in the main bedroom would be nice as well a chest of drawer in small bedroom. The apartment was perfect for our stay. The walk to Carbis Bay beach was short and lovely. Yes St Ives Road is busy but the description did warn of some traffic noise. We love Carbis Bay beach and now find it nicer than St Ives which has become very busy and almost a victim of its own success. We’ve been to St ives many times and driven through Carbis Bay but never actually stopped. In future Carbis Bay will be our destination. The Uno restaurant was a real gem and Carbis Bay hotel is very nice with the deli a great place to have lunch. The Sandy beach is perfect for families and swimming as it’s quite sheltered compared to other nearby beaches we visited. The whole Carbis Bay area is very clean and well kept so a real pleasure to spend a week here. Thank you

Thank you for your lovely feedback, we are pleased to hear you loved the apartment, we are glad to hear you enjoyed your week here and we hope to welcome you back to Carbis Bay Holidays again in the future. Kind Regards, The Carbis Bay Holidays Team. Property Owner
