Absolutely fantastic apartment, in a great location and with the best views outside the balcony.

The parking is very convenient, the apartment was immaculate and it is equipped with everything you may need. The beds are extremely comfortable, even the bed sheets smell so nice. I will come back, without any hesitation. You can't find places much better than this.

A beautiful location overlooking the sea and Carbis Bay.

The accommodation is well equipped with all modern amenities and lots of little extras provided by the owners. The cleaner had done a fantastic job as everything was immaculate. A perfect location and a perfect apartment. We will be booking again for next year.

I recently stayed at Sea Mist and had a wonderful experience.

The location is excellent, with the train station just a five-minute walk away, making it really convenient for getting into St Ives. It’s also only a short stroll to a beautiful beach with great facilities, which was a real highlight of the trip. The apartment itself was spotless and very well maintained. The kitchen was fully equipped with everything needed for a comfortable stay, and the whole space felt welcoming. It was also very quiet, which made it easy to relax. Parking was straightforward and hassle-free, which is always a bonus. One of the standout features was the amazing view, best enjoyed from the lovely little balcony. Overall, a fantastic place to stay, and I would definitely recommend it.

Our third year of staying at sea mist.

We love the location of the apartment and the apartment itself has everything you could possibly need. The rooms are bright and spacious, the sofa and beds are extremely comfortable. The views are stunning. We made use of the beach chairs and wind break this year for the beach. There are so many extra’s in the apartment that we really didn’t have to think of the little things. We can’t wait to come back next year.

The property is well maintained and has everything you need for a self catering holiday. The kitchen is well equipped. The beds very comfortable. Fantastic views from the living room and main bedroom. Everything was 'just right'. It is well located for walking to the beach and the train station. Not far to drive for a supermarket (although a small shop in walking distance) and plenty of things to do for a day out just a short distance away.

We really felt at home in there and loved the cleanliness of the place- even the drawers and cupboards in the kitchen were spotless. Thankyou! The beds were extremely comfortable and the view was breathtaking. We have already booked for next year :)

We have been visiting Carbis Bay pretty much every year for the last 35 years and have stayed in many apartments over that time (as well as Monaowai next door to this development, when it was a hotel and not new apartments) .

Sea Mist is a lovely apartment with a fantastic view. It has all of the comforts of home and the cleanliness is exceptional. We were able to enjoy a lazy holiday this time without charging around to see the sights. The only thing of note, and this is the same for the majority of apartment parking so not a criticism, is that there is no provision for electric car charging. There are some 7kwh chargers at the local Tesco store which are the slower type. These generally will take around 4½ hours to charge from empty and the last thing that you want to do is spend 4½ hours at Tesco! I was able to leave the car there and walk back to the apartment and back again, but many people might feel that this is too much.

This is our second stay at Sea Mist, we simply love it.

We love the area and we love the apartment. It has everything you could need. We cant wait to come back next year.

Excellent stay, lovely apartment and very well provided.

Liked it so much that we have booked again in 2025. The only negative feedback is that the lounge sofa is uncomfortable (it looks very comfy) and the steps down to the rear gate (to the coast path) require maintenance and needs the lock replacing on the gate for security.

Without doubt the best property we have ever stayed in with nothing that wasn't absolutely perfect from start to finish and we have booked again for next year.

This was our first holiday to Cornwall.

Sea Mist was beyond expectations. The views are amazing. The apartment has everything you could possibly need and more. Wonderful week away in a wonderful place.

The property was amazing, beautiful surroundings and equipped with everything we needed.

We had a lovely time but the whole experience was a bit spoilt at the end. On the morning when we were leaving my husband was loading the car with the last bits at 9.55 when a lady pulled up in the car park and quite aggressively indicated she needed our parking space. My husband moved the car and the lady parked her car there. Then she came upstairs and barged in without saying a word. I was standing in the hall with a baby and had to ask her to step back so I could leave the property. She was extremely rude, we were practically kicked out and all this happened at 2 minutes past 10.

We have enjoyed the stay.

The views were lovely over carbis bay,but the walk down to the beach is very steep and can be challenging depending on your age or mobility.

The minute you enter the apartment you are blown away by the views. The accommodation itself was fabulous and had everything you needed to make it a home from home with a few extra luxuries you wouldn't usually expect.

Absolute perfection with spectacular position and views.

Very thoughtfully planned and furnished to ensure a home from home feeling. We enjoyed the peace, hearing only gulls, the train and the waves, however, St Ives was only a 20 minute walk away on a beautiful path through the trees. Sea Mist is ideally situated to explore the area by car, train, bus or on foot. We were sorry to leave and will be back. Many thanks.

One of the nicest places that we have ever stayed.

The facilities were superb, with all eventualities thought of, and everything was of the very highest standard. An excellent location, and the views from the lounge/balcony were absolutely stunning.

The best apartment we have stayed in - amazing view of the whole of Carbis Bay.

I loved waking up to see the beach from the comfort of my bed. The accommodation was well equipped including games, jigsaws and beach toys. We were able to park the car in the grounds of the apartment block and walk to the beach down the coastal path which runs at the bottom of the garden. The grounds were beautifully landscaped and communal areas were well maintained. It is a shame that since Carbis Bay Holidays joined forces with a larger company that prices have gone up by 60 per cent or more. The prices are so ridiculous that we have not booked again.

Main bedroom mattress is very hard.

Only one set of towels in main bedroom. Probably an oversight, so luckily second bedroom had towels. Cleanliness throughout the apartment was very good except underneath the sofa!!

*** Dishwasher in Full Working Order*** The dishwasher door was not working from the day we arrived.

Your local team advised it wouldn’t be fixed due to a part. It must have been know about before we arrived so we should have been told. The local team did call me about it but the guy didn’t seem that bothered and just said nothing they could do. So we had to wash up manually all week which I don’t expect to do on holiday!! So this did put a dampener in things. We go on holiday to relax and forget about household chores. I did ask for a goodwill gesture, but the guy didn’t think that was important and didn’t seem to be interested.

We had an amazing, relaxing week with wonderful weather. We caught the train to St Ives a few times and love how easy it is to get there, but escape back to this haven of peace and calm. Would recommend the 8.46am train (Mon-Fri) to see St Ives before it is too busy. Sea Mist really is perfect!

Weather amazing. Drinks on the balcony watching the boats. Binoculars a great bonus. Pop out the back gate down to the beach @ Carbis Bay. Hop on the train to St Ives, lovely shops & cafes. Can recommend a visit to Kynance Cove – its beauty is enchanting. Fab care at Lizard Point called “Wave Crest.” Delicious fish & chips & cream teas are a must. 5 minutes from the National Trust car park, has amazing views. Our fifth stay at Sea Mist.

  We just love this beautiful apartment with the views and the area.  New routine this year as we came earlier.  We started a morning swim in the sea.  Took a while to get used to but felt really good afterwards.  Drove to Falmouth and did a park & float into the harbour.  Great food at "Sabzi" Persian inspired salads, great prices, communal seating.  Also recommend cream tea at Charlotte's Tea House in Truro.  Fish & chips at Becks restaurant.  Discovered the Beer Huis, Belgian beer, great food, music on Sundays, St Ives.  Lovely walks in Hayle, Penzance, Newlyn and a delicious lunch at Duke Street Cafe, Mousehole.  Carbis Bay to Penzance, Pendeen to St Just, Tin Mine Trail.
