  • "The property was amazing , but i don’t know if you knew but in the room with king size bed the door doesn’t close."

It really didn’t bother us but I wanted to let you know as I don’t know if anyone else said anything. We loved the games that were left in the cupboard, the rooms had amazing mattresses and the view out of the living room was very good. Breathtaking. Loved the fact that it had a shower and a bath together , since we don’t have a bath in our house it was very nice to take one on the holiday. The property is very close to the beach, and we managed to find another beach with less people and it wasn’t that far away. We would really like to visit back again.

Thank you for your feedback and top scores! We are delighted to hear you enjoyed the property and its location and views. We hope to see you return soon! Kind Regards The Carbis Bay Holidays Team. Property Owner

  • "Cornwall is stunning, Carbis Bay is absolutely beautiful, the property is almost perfect."

Smallest of issues - electric shower pressure is a bit lower than I would like but absolutely fine. The view from the living room is exactly as the pictures show - beautiful. The kitchen is fully equipped and the little extras - books, DVDs, board games, beach equipment is the icing on the cake. The place is clean and tidy. I would thoroughly recommend the property - our kids (4 and 6) absolutely loved their stay here. The hill to walk back up is a bit of a killer, especially with all the beach stuff, but it's manageable - our kids managed to walk up it when required. Alternative is to walk up and drive down to do a pick up. I would definitely stay at Seathrift again.

Thank you for your wonderful feedback. We are thrilled to hear that you loved the property and your stay! Thank you so much again for your comments and we look forward to the opportunity to welcome you back in the future. Kinds Regards, The Carbis Bay Holidays Team Property Owner

  • "We were delighted with our stay in the apartment and had a wonderful holiday."

The obvious advantage was the fantastic view from the picture-window. All the furniture and kitchen & bathroom fittings were ideal and the welcome pack on arrival was a nice surprise. The apartment was cleaned and presented to a very high standard. We look forward to returning again in the future.

  • "A couple more comfortable armchairs to replace the worn and rather uncomfortable rickety ones would be a really good addition to the 2 sofas."

The huge hike in prices raises expectations in this respect.

Dear Lucy, Thank you for taking the time to submit you feedback. Please be assured that the pricing is reviewed constantly and we work very closely with our owners to get the balance right. Please don't hesitate to take a glance in the future to see any changes. Kind regards, Carbis Bay Holidays Property Owner

  • ""Apartment has everything you need."

Clean and tidy with unbeatable views of the bay and St Ives. It's in a great position, just far enough away from the hustle and bustle of St. Ives, but within walking distance and close to the railway station. Nice welcome pack was much appreciated. It was our fourth holiday at Seathrift and we are already counting down the days to our fifth. :)"

  • ""Seathrift is our favourite apartment to stay at in the Gwel Marten complex."

The view is amazing but also has the advantage of side windows which make the apartment feel bigger and much brighter. Everything you need is in the apartment including a treasure trove of beach items in the storage cupboard (in which we have left items on previous visits!). We have already booked for next year as we love it so much. Would highly recommend."
