  • "We had such a nice holiday!"

The photos of the property didn't do it justice! The views were superb and the quality of the property and amenities was really good. We even liked the bedding so much that we ordered the same to arrive at home for when we got back! We were also grateful for the little things like the flowers, fresh coffee beans, milk and biscuits. Many thanks for having us. We will definitely stay again!

Thank you so much for your wonderful, positive feedback. We are so pleased to hear that you had such a lovely stay. We hope you are enjoying your new bedding! Thank you again for your incredibly kind words. We look forward to welcoming you back in the near future. Kind Regards, The Carbis Bay Holidays Team Property Owner

  • "Apartment is amazing and has Everything you would expect."

Hot tub could do with being a little warmer but was lovely still. Our only moan was the check in and check out times. 9am was a bit of a rush by the time we had to strip all the beds and bedding and make sure no dishes were left out. Check in at 5pm is a little late too , it wouldn’t take 9 til 5 to clean the apartment. Other than that I would recommend

Dear Mrs Tracy, We would like to thank you for submitting your feedback for your recent stay at Starboard. In regards to the check in/check out time; these are reviewed periodically and after listening to our guest and owner feedback we will be amending in the near future. Please be assured we have passed on your comments about the temperature of the hot tub to our property team and this will get looked at by our hot tub specialist. We sincerely hope you enjoyed your stay, and we hope to be able to invite you back soon. Kind Regards, Owner Relations, Carbis Bay Holidays Property Owner

  • ""This was our second stay in this house."

It doesn't seem to have changed in any way! We loved it the first time and this time we felt exactly the same. First time round we had two of our children with us; it was perfect for a family, with room to spread out. Our sons remember it with great affection. My husband and I came on our own this time and, again, it felt perfect. Standards of accommodation, hygiene, equipment and facilities are consistently high. The house is situated in a wonderful position, with the station over the road, the footpath down the cliff just across the bridge and, of course, the gorgeous beach down the hill. The rather depressing building work being carried out by the hotel on the beach detracted a little from our time down there; it's sad that a private business can own a beach - I feel that it should belong to everyone." This trip we discovered Trebah Gardens which was fab (stunning gardens, excellent cafe/restaurant) well worth others checking out...and finally, it was great to be in St. Ives when The Queen visited, rounded off the holiday very nicely." T. Dyer

  • ""We had a lovely holiday at Starborad, the accommodation was excellent; it was extremely clean, very well equipped and had stunning views."

Our holiday shopping was also already there and unpacked when we arrived which was great. The information provided in the apt was extremely thorough and the cream tea was a lovely welcome too! We would highly recommend The Hub pub on the harbour in St Ives - the burgers are excellent and the pub was also extremely child friendly which was lovely." C.John

  • ""We had a wonderful week at Starboard."

Accommodation was excellent, spacious and very clean. I ordered some food through food4myholiday, as recommended on your website. Their service was also first class: we arrived to find our perishable food packed in the fridge, which was a real bonus, so thanks for liaising with them to arrange this. We booked the holiday primarily as a beach holiday, so we spent about half the week on the wonderful beach. We also walked the coastal path for a trip into St Ives and another day walked in the other direction to Porth Kidney Sands, which is a fabulous stretch of almost deserted golden sands - watch out for the tides though!!" • ""We had a great couple of weeks at Mariners Loft recently."

The accommodation was of a very high standard and the location was fabulous; the views, proximity to the beach and ease of access to St Ives. We would particularly recommend The Loft and River Cafe in St Ives and further afield, Fore St restaurant in Mousehole and the National Trust cafe at Godrevy beach. For body boarding Sennon Cove is a must and we also had great waves at Harlyn bay near Padstow also in that area the views and beaches around Bedruthan Steps are just breathtaking." A. Smith

The fittings and finish were of a very high standard and the location suited us perfectly. We enjoyed taking the train into St Ives and not having to drive much and had good food at the Seafood Cafe with the last train home meaning we could both enjoy the wine. We went twice to watch the seals off Navax Point." L Walton
