It was a very well presented and extremely clean property and the fully equipped kitchen was also impressive. We would definitely stay here again and also recommend it to family and friends.

  • "Would highly recommend this apartment."

It really was a home from home and with 2 year old twins was far less stressful than expected due to the facilities provided. A few minutes walk to the beach and the train station, great views. Will hopefully be back next year.

  • "Absolutely lovely."

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay even though it was late November in Cornwall. Beautiful apartment - all needs catered for and very comfy beds! One small comment - a rubber mat may be a useful optional extra for any elderly guests in the shower. Yes love to return but can see it’s rather popular !

Spotlessly clean and a big plus was the Netflix facility. Access to and from the beach and coastal paths was spot on. The lift serving the apparent block was tempermental on occasions. Overall a brilliant stay and highly recommended."

  • ""Waves exceeded all our expectations and was perfect for a couple like ourselves with mobility problems."

It was spacious, furnished to a very high standard, with great attention to detail, and spotless. None of those annoying little omissions which you usually have on rental properties, for example adequate room lighting. The views from the veranda were spectacular and the location so convenient, with a short walk down to the quiet blue flag beach." Chris Grayson

  • ""We had a really fantastic holiday in Waves."

The apartment was everything we expected, and then some, and the views were simply outstanding! The apartment was spotless when we arrived, very well equipped and it had absolutely everything we could possibly have wanted for our holiday. The train into St Ives and St Erth is a must and it is so convenient not having to struggle to find parking. I am sure we did the same things as many of your other guests, trips to St Mawes, Mevagissey, Portreath, Porthcurno etc etc. The Eden project was stunning and we especially liked the Mini golf at Porthminster . Restaurant-wise we tried the Porthminster Beach Café, Waves (how appropriate) and The Seafood Café, all which we thoroughly enjoyed. Beck's fish and chips are also a must (if only they opened on a Monday!). We enjoyed ourselves so much at Waves we asked to extend our stay by four days and this was dealt with very swiftly by your team and we were delighted to be able to stay on. Our whole experience has been a joy, we hope to come and stay at Waves again later on this year." J. Jackson

  • ""Waves is very well finished indeed and what lovely views; so relaxing."

Spotlessly clean and so well provided for that we really wanted for nothing. We didn’t stray far but enjoyed St Ives and Carbis Bay as well as visiting St Michael’s Mount. I enjoy my seafood and so was very impressed with the standards in all places we visited. The Ocean was good from memory and we also enjoyed the Porthminster Beach Café for a quiet night for two. Very impressive. On the takeaway front you simply cannot beat Beck’s. I don’t believe I have had better fish and chips. Boat trip to see the seals was good but having young children it was the beach that was the main attraction and they are all very good." Anon.

  • ""We were absolutely thrilled with every aspect of our holiday."

None of us could fault the apartment - the extra touched of wine, cream tea, wind breaks etc really made it for us. This was, without doubt, the cleanest place we have ever stayed, and I'm quite picky. Thank you again for a faultless holiday experience. " K. Gabor

  • ""My wife and I enjoyed a wonderful holiday, Waves lived up to expectation, we travelled by train and this is probably the most well appointed self catering accommodation we have rented in the UK."

I was staggered by the variety of kitchen utensils etc and the whole place was spotless. Out and about we walked to St Ives many times and also to Lelant Saltings - warm welcome and cup of tea at the old station. We booked a day trip to the Scillies with Oates Travel and caught the train to Penzance to see the Olympic torch and then caught up with it again in Marazion. There was also a very warm welcome at the local church over the railway line and up the hill. Then there was the food festival and the farmer's market and the variety of shops and the views.....! . In terms of eating out: Porthminster Beach Restaurant, Sea Food Cafe, Harbour Fish & Chips, Porthmeor Cafe Bar, Becks Fish & Chip Cafe. Other visits to, I should Co Co,The Allotment Deli, Moomaid Ice Cream Zennor - could go on and on!" J. Eden

  • ""We had a lovely holiday in Waves, the accommodation was excellent, perfectly clean and had everything we needed and of course had a sublime view."

We managed to get on the beach most days and travelled around visiting different places around St Ives. We loved Tate St Ives and were lucky to go on a Sunday when it was their family day. Reuben, our three year old, also loved Paradise Park. In terms of restaurants we particularly loved Porthminster cafe, followed by Alba and Blas Burgerworks. We tended to go in and out of St Ives on the train which was really convenient." M. Hyde

  • ""The quality of the accommodation was the best we have experienced in many years."

It was a real pleasure to stay somewhere with that level of fixtures and fittings / beds / towels / view etc. The coastal walk to Lelant Saltings, returning on the train, was beautiful. The fish and chips from the Balancing Eel were fantastic. Having a bbq on Porthmeor beach watching the sun set over the sea is an excellent idea. The carvery at the Badger Inn in Lelant was great. We spent most of our time on Porthminster beach - which is idyllic." D. Catchpole

  • ""We had a fantastic holiday thanks!"

The weather that week was superb and we were on the beach everyday. Everything was perfect - the accommodation was spotless and we were met by the housekeeper on arrival who showed us around. I must admit Waves really is 5 star - the views from the apartment are breathtaking and inside everything is well maintained and "as new". I'm sure we werent, but it felt like we were the first people to have our holiday there! Lovely fluffy white towels, gorgeous bed linen, a spa bath, a well stocked kitchen - what more could we ask for! As to activities - well Sennan Cove is a must at sunset - we got some fantastic photos of the views. The seals at Godrevy Point were good as well - I would recommend this walk with a pair of binoculars! The beach is lovely there too. " C. Cleaveland

We were very impressed with everything about the accommodation, the view was breathtaking and we didn't venture far as we had all that we needed to hand, the car parking was very convenient and safe. • ""Hi - overall we were very impressed with Waves and would defenitely stay again."

The view was amazing and the apartment was spacious and very well equipped. Kids loved the Wii and the jacuzzi bath which we weren't expecting! We particularly liked picking mussels off the rocks at low tide and cooking them for dinner. Kids thought that was fantastic. They also liked Paradise Park(!!). Porthminster Cafe was fab as usual and the fish and chip shop on the main road in Carbis Bay was great. We went to a lovely beach on the north shore which I can't remember the name of now (past turn off to St Michaels Mount) but they had a fantastic cafe in a shack just by the beach which did evening BBQ's in their garden and had people playing live music. Great service and organisation." M. Whitehead

Both the apartment and location far surpassed our expectations - we had several fine nights sitting out on the decking (admittedly wrapped up warmly) watching the superb sunsets. The setting is wonderful - there can be few apartments which can provide a better, uninterrupted view of sea, sand and sky." R. Stewart
