Sea Drift

As 4 adults (2 grown up daughters) we loved the space the house offered and the convenience of where it was in a very quiet residential road.

The short walk to the beach with the pop up bar/food was really handy and the coastal path to Charlestown. Its close by to Eden Project, Lost Gardens of Heligan and many more places we visited. We had an issue with wifi on arrival which was sorted promptly by ringing Sykes. We were lucky to be there during a heatwave and enjoyed every minute.

We had the most wonderful holiday - the weather was extraordinarily warm, hot even, it was the summer the half term heat wave.

We loved the place and had some real excitement when the cheeky seagull, sitting on its nest behind next door’s chimney, nipped down and stole some pizza slices cooling on the doorstep! The children loved it. The seagulls were not a problem at all, it was amusing. Loved walking along the coastal path to the various beaches (we think Duporth is the best, you just have to walk to Portpean for facilities, not far). We loved the Eden Project but loved loved The lost Gardens of HELIGAN and spent two days there. As for Sykes the systems are all completely automated and designed not to have much interface. Oddly I’d already pre booked a house for next year in Southwold through Secrets of Suffolk, only to find out it appearing in my Sykes account as a pre booking, most odd. Then really annoyingly I got an email offering £40 off a new booking through Sykes! I couldn’t even protest that I couldn’t have booked it through Sykes if I wanted to, as they have no presence in Southwold and are not fronting the lettings at all, indeed it seemed impossible to contact them at all. In Southwold the people they’ve bought up still seem to be the face of it all. I’d honestly gone to look at the houses in Pier Avenue to see if one was being let (one was) as we loved the last one we stayed in and the plaque referred us to Secret Suffolk, no mention of Sykes so I suppose no £40 off because they didn’t tell me they really let the house?? Mmmm. Anyway that’s more about Sykes than Sea Drift which was very nice.

Lovely property, would recommend to anybody, will certainly book again .

Wonderful holiday property.

Everything provided you could need. Cleanliness was excellent. Lovely quiet spot but not too far to go for a range of shops and restaurants. Only thing we didn't really care for was the Friday to Friday booking.

My family and I enjoyed our stay at Sea Drift comfortable beds well equipped kitchen, nice garden for children to play in safely, the property is in a good location for visiting local attractions, the Eden Project for example.

We walked to the beach and into Charlestown a couple of times where there are plenty of places to eat or just have a drink. We do enjoy walking and we took the path off the road and took are time. There are also nice places just 5 mins from the property to get a nice meal We had meals in the Chinese and the Indian restaurant and also had a lovely meal at the Porth Avallen Hotel. Beautiful part of Cornwall would hope to return again.

Sea Drift is a beautiful spacious 4 bed property.

It is very well-equipped with everything you could ever need with a great size garden for the dog to play in while you're relaxing on the sun loungers. Short walks to Crinnis Beach with the pop-up pub and numerous food huts also down the coastal path to Charlestown Harbour. Handy Bus Stop also down the road. Would highly recommend this property and will be booking again.

We have had a lovely relaxing week here with beautiful views & dry weather. Your property did not disappoint! Comfortable beds, and a well equipped kitchen, plenty of space for us all. We were all very pleased on arrival, you have done a fabulous job ensuring your guests are catered to!! Wishing you all the best for future lettings - we will definitely be returning with our new grandbaby.

So well equipped with everything you can want. Ideally located for exploring Cornwall. Great having a pasty + pint at the pop up pub on Crinnis beach. Will definitely be back. Thanks for a great week.

I liked the layout of the house and the beds were really comfy.

Thank you for leaving a badminton set and I loved climbing the tree in the front garden. Also, the book tree is very cool. What book are the pages from, and how do you make the book tree? Thank you for the amazing stay.

I loved the house and the little cupboard in my bedroom.

It was a very cosy room and I love how open the lounge/dining room/kitchen is. The wood sculptures are VERY cool and the view of the town and fields is very nice. The sofa on the landing was a very nice place to sit. Overall I enjoyed my stay and hope to come again. The front and back garden are great for playing in. I liked walking on the fallen tree in the front garden and climbing it. Thank you! I love Sea Drift <3

Had a great stay.

Lots of places to hide Easter eggs and the lava lamp was a total hit. It takes just over an hour to heat up and then is totally mesmerising. 10/10 Went to lots of places around the area. The Eden Project is very close and I thought it was great. The seagulls at St Ives stole my ice cream, We saw a seal thought just bobbing in the water. Thank you xxx

We have had a lovely week staying here.

It has been very comfortable for the eight of us, with the kitchen being well equipped for lots of cooking! The weather has been great and we've enjoyed walks around Falmouth, Fowey and Lerryn and three of our party went in the water at Carlyon Bay Bach. Thank you
