  • "We had a wonderful time, great apartment, great location, but the beds were so hard."

    We couldn't sleep well and it was very uncomfortable. Also the ventilation is not so good in the bathrooms. What a pity for such a great apartment.

  • "A fantastic apartment, great location."

    The only observation I have, and this was noted by a previous guest in the feedback book at the property, the beds are too hard. I was not able to get a good night's sleep and often woke with backache. I would suggest that mattress toppers be fitted to both beds. If this is done guests can remove the topper is they find they want a harder mattress. I would urge the owners to consider this as this is the only thing that would prevent me from booking this apartment again.

  • "We had a very enjoyable stay at this property and were made to feel very welcome from the moment we arrived."

    The apartment is decorated to a high standard and equipped with literally everything that you could possibly need for a beach holiday. The view from the back is absolutely amazing and the highlight for me. Carbis Bay is a beautiful base as it's quieter, away from the hustle and bustle of St ives with a beautiful beach. The apartment is around 3-5 min walk from the train station where you can jump on a train to st ives, it takes 3 mins on the train. I would highly recommend this apartment!

  • "Wonderful property, very spacious modern living/dining/kitchen area, very well appointed, cannot fault it."

    Bedrooms are small in comparison, but both en-suite showers. Some arrival issues encountered, but very promptly sorted by Carbis Bay hols, even on a bank holiday, thank you so much! Very limited TV access, which may or may not be important, but if there is bad weather or children present might be an issue. The inside and outside sea view bi-fold doors really need identifying as to which are openable or not with instructions, only the left hand doors to the patio open, which were very stiff, no details in introduction booklet. Only found this out from the lovely lady who sorted out our arrival issues. Very quiet property day and night, storms passed by without us noticing! Outside space very lovely too. Parking could possibly be tight at times. Would certainly consider returning to this property, but there is a lot of competition in the area.

Monowai Heights, a chic ground-floor apartment in Cornwall, enjoys views of the azure waves of Carbis Bay Beach, offering the ideal base for a seascape.

The apartment welcomes four guests and features a contemporary open-plan living area, a lovely conservatory with bi-fold doors onto the private patio, a shared garden, and easy access to the South West Coast Path.

Park up and descend the stairs, ready to be amazed by the roomy living area, which is dotted with plush seating, a Smart TV, an indulgent electric fire, a grand dining table, a convenient breakfast bar, and a fully-integrated kitchen with contemporary fixtures.

After meals, relax on either the front or back patio spaces, which are also suitable for alfresco dining, before taking a stroll around the communal garden or unwinding in the conservatory, offering far-reaching views of the coastline.

When sleep calls, choose from two gorgeous king-size bedrooms with en-suite shower rooms, both serviced by a bathroom, which hosts both a bath and a shower.

Wake up to the crisp sea air whilst enjoying views over to Godrevy Lighthouse and Island, both steeped in history, before taking the coastal path to Hawkes Point for its breath-taking views or to take advantage of the variety of amenities right outside your door.

Prior to reaching Hayle with its lovely beach, Fisherman's Wharf, the Paradise Park and the JungleBarn Cornwall, head to St Ives, just a train stop away, ready to tour the Tate art gallery, climb to Clodgy Point, or visit the well-known Barbara Hepworth Museum and Sculpture Garden.

Before returning to your residence for the sunset, travel south and make a stop at Penzance Promenade and Harbour, before visiting Penlee House Gallery & Museum.

St Ives 2 miles ; Hayle 3.5 miles ; Penzance 8.5 miles

Just a short drive from iconic St Ives, the seaside village of Carbis Bay is best-known for its beautiful stretch of pure white sand. With turquoise waters and sheltered conditions, the beach feels almost subtropical and is the perfect spot for a good old-fashioned day by the sea. The beach is also home to the Ocean Sports Centre, so if sunbathing is not really your thing, why not hire a kayak or SUP and get out on the water instead. Or why not treat yourself to a Spa day at the delightful hotel which overlooks the beach and has a fabulous terrace where cocktails can be enjoyed in the Cornish sunshine? Carbis Bay has a small range of local shops and restaurants as well as a fish & chip takeaway and railway branch line. The train journey from Carbis Bay into St Ives is perhaps one of the most beautiful in the country; St Ives additionally makes for a great day out, with plenty of galleries to explore. The quayside town of Hayle also isn't far and is home to activities for the all the family, including a golf and a wildlife sanctuary.
