    The owner was very friendly and helpful. It would have been helpful to have wi fi as most things we wanted to do needed to be booked on line but that’s just a little thing. We loved our time there and would definitely go again.

  • "The cottage was immaculately clean, well presented and very well equipped It was comfortable and cosy whatever the weather."

    We had a warm and friendly greeting from Neil who was very helpful. The location is perfect for exploring the area with a regular bus service from the gate if you want a break from driving and paying to park the car. We would happily revisit and recommend it to others.

  • "Loved the 'Piggery', perfect for what we needed."

    It has beautiful views of the coast and St Michael's Mount and nicely situated to visit most of the coastal towns and villages. There is a bus that stops just outside the farm where it will take you to Penzance or St Ives, if you want a break from driving. The owners, Stephen and Neil, are the perfect hosts, from a warm and friendly welcome to helpful advice on local walks, the best fish and chip shops etc. The Green Pig Farm is a retreat we would love to revisit.

  • "The Piggery was very clean and we were greeted with a bottle of wine and milk in the fridge."

    The communal garden was very well kept with large bench and table plus seats and cushions to sit back and enjoy the view. The view over to St Michaels Mount and Penwith from the picture window in the lounge was outstanding, and the location a perfect base to go exploring. We loved our stay.

Long Barn and The Piggery is a charming pairing of stone-built barn conversions settled into the countryside of Castle Gate near Longrock, resting between St Ives and Penzance. The group rests on Green Pig Farm, a family run farm located on the scenic peninsula of West Cornwall. The farm itself boasts views towards St Michael’s Mount and Mounts Bay with distant views towards the Lizard Peninsula and beyond, whilst also creating a wildlife haven with wildflowers and Cornish hedges. In southwest Cornwall, Long Rock is a village situated between Penzance and Marazion, stretching around Mount's Bay. It's name comes from the long rock, usually surrounded by sea beyond the beach of Long Rock. The village offers a shop, post office, and two pubs, as well as a retail park for all the essentials. Long Rock Beach is sandy and favoured by the locals, swimming is safe and it's a popular spot for wind-surfing too. Perfect for bringing your pup to have a run-around, the beach is dog-friendly all year round so you can enjoy it any time of year.
