Excellent standard.

A very Cornish experience and great location. Excellent host with fantastic local knowledge.

Our holiday was very enjoyable ,the accomodation was perfect for our stay as it was a converted barn hence it was cooler in the hot weather.

The setting was not far from Helston and in an area good for walking that we enjoyed. The owners were on site and they made a point of calling to check that we were happy. We would highly recommend this property.

The accommodation is spacious, airy and clean. It has everything you need for a relaxing break. Super comfy bed and a comfortable and modern kitchen and living area. It is situated in a great area for visiting the Lizard and west Cornwall. It is not far from supermarkets and pubs which are a short drive away. We would highly recommend the property and are keen to return.

A lovely rural location but well placed for exploring the Local area and further afield. The owner was very helpful but not intrusive. Excellent information and recommendations on local area.

This barn conversion is absolutely everything we needed from a holiday home.

Large enclosed garden for the dog, close to our friends and stunning, high quality accommodation. Mary and Tony are the perfect hosts, on hand if needed but gave us lots of privacy. The hosts have thought of everything you would need on your holiday such as tea, coffee, kitchen towel, washing liquid, toilet paper etc. Beautiful location and we have already booked for next year. Cannot recommend enough!

Excellent countryside location with most of Lizard's top attractions only a 15 minute drive away.

Mary provided milk and fresh flowers on our arrival and a lovely warm welcome. Large open plan living space, very homely. Perfect for our family. Games provided. Loved the underfloor heating. Spotlessly clean with comfy beds and a perfect location to less touristy Cornwall. We loved it.

The property is clean, comfortable and in a great location. Everything you could want is provided and the owners are so kind and offer great tips for places to visit. They are always available if you need anything, but never intrude. We'd happily recommend this place to anyone and we hope to stay there again.

Beautiful, clean and homely, with every possible facility needed. A very spacious, private garden, with plenty of parking space. It’s located in a really great spot, for exploring all the coastline has to offer! We already want to return!

The accommodation is super clean and well equipped.Everything is of a high quality,dishes,bedding,towels etc.But wow what a beautiful enclosed garden.Our dog Teddy loved it.Should we visit the area again we would definitely stay again.

A very nice barn conversion.

Everything was clean and no doggy aroma. Nice secure garden. Peace and quiet. Ideal location for exploring Cornwall. Our hosts Mary and Tony are very nice people and will give you information regarding the area’s attractions. If you ask Tony he will tell you which fields are empty of crops and cattle so you can walk your dog(s) in the fields. Our dog loved the fields.. Our two weeks flew by, unfortunately . A really lovely location.

A lovely cottage to rent .

We were so happy when we arrived and found such a fantastic place to stay . The cottage was super clean , with everything thought about for your stay . It was perfect for our two dogs that came with us also . I would highly recommend this cottage . We were four adults and two dogs . The garden was also lovely .

Amazing stay, thank you.

Everything we needed and more. Must confess to being intimidated by such a sophisticated induction hob even with instructions provided; we only cooked 1 meal and that was in the oven! A shame too that we've only just discovered where the local shop was. There were so many places to go, we never went down the road to Mawgan, next time! Access to your fields was great when time was too short to drive to Goonhilly Downs; certainly drier once grass was cut! The garden was lovely. We wish we hadn't been too tired to enjoy sitting out and watching the sunset. Altogether an amazing stay. We felt it better for adults or families with older children, and you may wish to add comments or advice about electric car charging for the future. (Not important to us as diesel car).

What an amazing property!

We loved every second of being here. The accommodation was comfortable, clean and had everything we needed. The location was great for getting to all the beauty spots. Would highly recommend. The kids and dog had a blast as well and settled well. We will be back to stay here at this lovely accommodation.

This is one of the very best places we've ever booked.

The owners are so friendly and helpful, but are not at all intrusive. Everything is well thought out , clean and comfortable. The sofas, chairs and bed were all so perfect and comfy even though we both suffer with back problems. We had everything we needed regarding equipment for our stay. This is a beautiful, cosy very peaceful place, but with great beaches, coves, villages and gardens close by. The garden at the property is beautiful with lovely furniture to use and the owners kindly let us wander the fields and woods on their property too. We definately want to return and could recommend this place to anyone. Special thanks to Mary and Tony for helping us out when our car developed a fault and we needed a hand to arrange repairs, their help saved us so much time. We already miss this place so much. A perfect gem!

Gilly Skyber is a beautiful cottage - extremely comfortable, immaculately kept and well equipped - with a lovely garden.

The owner, Mary, is very welcoming and helpful. The cottage is a fantastic place to rest and relax and is a great base from which to explore the Lizard peninsular.

The house was fantastic: very clean, comfortable and well equipped.

Everything was great. The garden was lovely with plenty of space for children to run around. We appreciated the fresh flower arrangements indoors made with flowers from the garden. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would wholeheartedly recommend the property to others.

A superb, dog friendly property, with a beautiful, massive, private garden.

The conversion is clearly new and done to the very highest of standards, and the owner is friendly and helpful without being obtrusive. The location is perfect for exploring the Lizard and all the very southern tip of Cornwall, but you may find yourself not wanting to wander afar as the farm and environs of the farm are so perfect. Brilliant dog walks on the farm land, but please check with the owner first to find out which fields do not have livestock. I cannot praise Gilly Skyber highly enough.

Das Cottage war noch schöner, als die Bilder es zeigen. Komfortabel, luxeriös, gemütlich und entspannt. Super sauber, es bleiben keine Wünsche übrig, außer dem, länger zu bleiben oder wieder zu kommen. Wir hatten zwei wunderbare Wochen mit unserem Hund Paul. Das Cottage war ein fantastischer Ausgangspunkt, um Cornwall zu erkunden und danach immer in eine ruhige Umgebung zurückzukehren. Es hätte nicht schöner sein können. Unsere Gastgeber und auch alle anderen Begegnungen waren sehr freundlich und zugewandt.

Superbly equipped, extremely comfortable, very quiet and just a beautiful place to stay! I spoke to Mary on a couple of occasions,she was very thoughtful,accommodating,kind and a thoroughly nice lady. Yes ,myself, partner and our dog had a wonderful stay. I'd certainly without hesitation stay again!

This was a lovely property to stay in.

Very well appointed and contained everything one could want. We were walking the South West coast path and the location was excellent. Gilly Skyber is close to all parts of the Lizard, Penzance and Falmouth, making it a great base.

Amazing property with underfloor heating and powerful shower.

Spotlessly clean. Outdoor hose for cleaning off wet suits and muddy dogs! The owner was very friendly and gave us plenty of privacy, only popping by once to check everything was OK and if we had everything we needed. Lovely little woodland walk right behind the garden and so many beautiful beaches 15-30 mins drive. We didn't want to leave!!

We had a wonderful two weeks here.

Perfect location with lots of lovely beaches and coves to visit nearby. The cottage is very comfortable with everything we needed together with a beautiful large enclosed garden for us and our dog. The owner, Mary, was very welcoming and always contactable if we had any queries. We will be rebooking so that speaks for itself..

I have stayed in many different accommodations throughout Cornwall and I can honestly say Gilly Skyber barn was excellent, I would highly recommend staying there and I will definitely be returning in the future.

The moment you enter the property you feel comfortable and at home. The kitchen has every possible appliance/utensil available. The appliances are quality items and not cheap. The owners have thought of everything you may need and have provided items to cover your needs. The owners live next door in their farmhouse but please do not let that put you off, you would never know they are there unless you need them, then they respond promptly The location is gorgeous and very peaceful with a large private garden for your sole use, fantastic for children or dogs. Book this place and you will not be disappointed, we had a lovely week there in every respect. Thank you Mary for all your contact.

Beautiful barn conversion, a really comfortable homely feel.

The owners were on hand if needed but unobtrusive and our privacy was respected. Great place to explore all the beaches and places of interest nearby. There was two car park spaces allocated so that was great. The barn was really clean and had all the utensils we needed for cooking our meals. The garden which was a shared garden was beautiful and nice to sit out in weather permitting. A nice little place to stay to relax.

Gilly Skyber is a wonderful barn conversion which is particularly well-furnished with a very large enclosed garden.

You couldn't ask for anything more.

The property was decorated beautifully and the garden facilities were excellent.

The house was extremely clean, the cleanest house I have been too. The owners were very helpful but not intrusive. I feel that another fly killer machine would be useful in the living area. I live near a farm so I’m used the flys but the other couple were very uncomfortable with the fly dirt on their bedding and cloths.
