  • "My son and I stayed at White Horizons for a couple of days."

    We would’ve loved to have stayed a little longer but circumstances changed and we had to leave slightly early. It was extremely comfortable and pleasant and we were exceptionally pleased with it.   • "I loved this property, so much so, I wish I could retire in it!"

    All modernised, tastefully decorated and spotlessly clean. Our son and partner mentioned that their bed (the master room) was not comfortable, causing them a few sleepless nights. We, in the second room, didn't have a problem. We all felt that the seating areas would benefit from some foot stools ( we all like to sit with our feet elevated). Two more relaxing chairs in the conservatory would be perfect! That said, we would still recommend this property and thoroughly enjoyed our stay here.

  • "A perfect two weeks in this gorgeous bungalow."

    Very neat, tidy, modern and spacious with everything we needed on hand. Owners very prompt and friendly when we needed to contact them. Would definitely like to return. Only drawback for me was the steep hill down to Coverack but there is a bit of parking down there.

  • "Lovely home in a great location."

    Wonderful garden and outlook and extremely well equipped, spacious house with comfortable beds and plenty of seating. Lots of places nearby to visit without driving too far. Coverack itself is a pretty place with a nice beach, wen the tide is out, and clifftop walks to enjoy.

    Lovely property in quiet location. A very comfortable home from home. Smaller Pyrex bowls would be helpful for use in the microwave. Already booked for 2026.

  • "It was our third holiday in Wide Horizons and it was again very clean, quiet and comfortable."

    We have had beautiful walks and enjoyed sitting in the harbour in the evenings. We have one small comment. There was a lot of sand in the washing machine and the sieve in the dryer was not emptied and there was a lot of sand in there which was difficult to clean. We had no sand on our laundry. But it is always a very nice relaxing holiday and very nice considerate owners. We are looking forward to being there in September which shows our satisfaction with Wide Horizons.

  • "This was our second holiday in Wide Horizons and we can say that everything was perfect, again very clean, quiet and comfortable."

    We have nothing to complain about. We are sorry that Ian and Jane have to dispose of our rubbish and that the rubbish collectors don't empty the bins. We met the lovely owner and were very pleased to have spoken to him. A nice welcome greeting was also in the kitchen. We have again had lovely walks and trips and loved Cornwall again with the friendly people there. We will definitely book Wide Horizons again. All the best to the owners. Gabi and Roland

  • "This property was the best we have stayed in so far."

    It was clean, very spacious with all mod cons and thoughtful in detail even providing boxes of tissues and mini torches in the bedroom drawers. The views out to the garden and sea in the distance was breathtaking, with every comfort provided to enjoy this beautiful bungalow. The neighbourhood was extremely quiet which made it all that more relaxing too. Very highly recommend.

  • "We were very impressed with Wide Horizons."

    The bungalow had everything we needed for our holiday. It was very clean and fresh. The garden is beautiful and there is a good choice of garden furniture. It is also so quiet and relaxing. We had never stayed at Coverack before and we were not disappointed. The beach and sea was so clean. We have no hesitation in recommending Wide Horizons; and if we are in that area of Cornwall again would return.

    The walk back up the hill keeps you fit and it’s worth being a bit further out because of the quality of the accommodation

  • "We have been to Cornwall many times but Wide Horizons was cleaner than any cottage before."

    The cottage is equiped with everything you need. There is nothing missing. The beds are very comfortable. A lovely conservatory to sit in comfortably after a walk. There is plenty of seating in the garden when the weather is nice. It is a wonderful place to start for hikes. We can highly recommend the cottage in a very quiet location. There was building work going on the first days when we arrived, but we were hiking during the day and then able to pull back into the driveway in the evening. So we were able to avoid the noise. The weather was fortunately very nice to go on excursions. Strolling through the beautiful town of Coverack in the evening was wonderful. We would love to book the cottage again if we want to holiday in the area.

  • "Wide Horizon exceeded all our expectations."

    A beautiful bungalow situated on a very quiet cul-de-sac. Well equipped like new. Enjoyed cooking a meal and sitting in conservatory till late evening. Nothing was overlooked for our comfort and enjoyment. Only grief was the single beds were a little uncomfortable. . Other than that it was perfect. Hopefully back next year.

  • "It is a very nice house with lots of space and a great garden."

    There is a heavenly peace and quiet. Everything you need to cook and eat is there and of very good quality. We loved sitting and eating in the conservatory. The only thing that was a bit of a shame was, that the single beds were a bit too soft. Otherwise everything was perfect.

COVERACK

St Keverne 2.3 miles; Helston 11.6 miles; Falmouth 18.5 miles.

Coverack is a small fishing village on the Lizard Peninsula, a few miles from Lizard Point in Cornwall, the most southerly point on mainland Britain. Coverack is a beautiful and peaceful place to escape the main tourist routes and offers a beach in the sheltered bay, which is ideal for swimming, windsurfing, and kayaking, as well as shops, pub, and restaurants. Further amenities lie in St Keverne, which has a post office, shops and 2 traditional pubs. The Lizard Peninsula has many spectacular coves and beaches and is noted for its rare geology and plants. From Lizard Point there are wonderful sea views from the windswept cliffs, which provide fabulous walking opportunities along this stretch of the South West Coast Path. Inland is the market town of Helston, known for its Flora Day Festival, and in Gweek is The Cornish Seal Sanctuary, whilst approximately ten miles away is the Culdrose Airfield, where once a year the public are welcome to come and meet the Fleet Air Arm, the Royal Navy’s flying force. Coverack is ideally located for exploring The Lizard Peninsula, as well as the lovely seaside towns of St Ives and Falmouth and many other beaches and pretty villages.
